Colorado Goes Full Authoritarian Moonbat

In 1984, you could be tortured in Room 101 for believing that 2 + 2 = 4. Likewise, in Colorado you can be set upon by law enforcement for calling someone by the name their parents gave them or even for referring to them with factually correct pronouns.

Leftist Governor Jared Polis has signed into law House Bill 1312:

The law expands the state’s antidiscrimination laws, which apply to settings like workplaces and schools, to include provisions related to using a person’s chosen name and referring to them how they wish.

“Antidiscrimination” is the Liberalese euphemism for government-imposed discrimination benefiting favored identity groups. Only the truly privileged can get other people in trouble with the law for refusing to reject objective reality in favor of their psychotic delusions.

The law includes…

…a legislative declaration stating that people should receive health care “without unnecessary governmental interference.”

By “health care,” they mean grotesque sex change procedures. The declaration is a compromise that implies without stating that parents who bring children to Colorado to inflict such horrors in violation of the law in their own state (not to mention the will of the other parent) will find a sympathetic haven, as in other states that have succumbed to end-stage liberalism like California and Minnesota.

Polis is also expected to sign House Bill 1309, which enshrines access to gender-affirming care in state law.

“Gender-affirming” is Liberalese for “gender-denying.” Judging by their tendency to call things the opposite of what they actually are, progressives must understand that most everyone would reject their sick ideology if it were accurately portrayed.

Bruce Springsteen’s Punk Move

Bruce Springsteen has proven himself to be a jackass yet again. Barked the moonbat to a British audience:

“In my home, the America I love, the America I’ve written about that has been a beacon of hope and liberty for 250 years, is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent, and treasonous administration.”

As they say, with Democrats, every accusation is a confession. Springsteen threw his weight behind Joe Biden, the personification of corruption, incompetence, and treason.

Springsteen spewed calumnies against America’s recently elected leader in the country our forefathers created the USA by rebelling against. That comes closer to treasonous than Trump’s America First agenda.

Wrapping anti-Americanism in faux Americanism has been Springsteen’s schtick for years. To this day, many do not realize that his most famous song “Born in the USA” is not pro- but anti-American. Who pays close attention to pop lyrics?

More moonbattery from the Dross I mean the Boss:

“Tonight, we ask all who believe in democracy and the best of our American experiment to rise with us, raise your voices against authoritarianism, and let freedom ring.”

Again, he said this in Britain — where people are thrown in prison for silently praying or for complaining about being displaced by hordes of Islamic colonists imported by the authoritarian government of Two-Tier Keir Starmer.

Trump responded by observing that Springsteen is highly overrated, a pushy, obnoxious jerk, and a dried out prune.

Kid Rock weighs in:

“To be in Europe talking junk about our president who gets up and works his ass off for this country, every day, and his administration is doing such great things… Thank God for him. But to do that in Europe… what a punk move.”

Official Obstruction of Law Enforcement in Nashville

Even as Trump’s enforcement of immigration law radically reduces the murder rate in Denver, we read this from Nashville:

The Nashville Community Review Board is urging residents to submit a formal complaint against any Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) officers seen cooperating with immigration enforcement efforts.

The obstruction of law enforcement — which itself is a crime — is so brazen as to be almost unbelievable. But see for yourself:

Here’s why Nashville moonbats are keen to hamstring ICE:

The request for residents to file complaints against MNPD officers cooperating with immigration enforcement efforts comes after an operation conducted by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in conjunction with the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) in Nashville last week resulted in the arrests of 196 criminal illegal aliens, as previously reported by The Tennessee Star.

Democrats want foreigners like this running amok on our streets:

Among the aliens arrested during the operation were a 60-year old convicted rapist from Iraq, a 33-year old MS-13 gang member from El Salvador, drug traffickers from El Salvador and Haiti, and a 39-year old from Guatemala convicted of aggravated assault.

Of the 196 arrests seen during the operation, 95 were of aliens who had prior criminal convictions and pending criminal charges, and 31 were of aliens who reentered the U.S. illegally after previously being deported.

That gives an idea of what Democrats have been systematically replacing the American population with, via open borders combined with generous entitlement incentives, and why they are so certain the new population won’t vote Republican.

Don’t expect public safety from Chief of Police John Drake; he was appointed by previous Nashville Mayor John Cooper, a Democrat.

“Hear me when I say this, immigration status is irrelevant to what we do as a police department,” Drake said.

To wit, whether people break the law is irrelevant to what they do as a police department.

Speaking of lawbreakers,

In Tennessee, local governments are prohibited from adopting sanctuary policies as of a 2018 law. Earlier this year, Governor Bill Lee signed a bill strengthening the 2018 law by making it a Class E felony for local officials to vote in favor of or adopt sanctuary policies or practices.

As noted earlier,

No wonder Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell — another Democrat — demands advance knowledge of federal immigration enforcement operations. Astroturf mobs don’t just magically appear when an illegal alien criminal is arrested; they have to be deployed.

More than once, these mobs have featured Democrat officeholders assaulting ICE agents.

The USA will become increasingly ungovernable until both illegal immigration and obstruction of law enforcement are treated as serious crimes.

Democrat officeholders have gone so far over the top in their opposition to enforcing immigration law as to physically assault ICE agents. Meanwhile:

Homicides in Denver declined 58 percent during the first three months over the same time last year, and nearby Aurora saw a 36 percent decline during the same period.

Here’s why:

The Trump administration made the Denver area an important focal point of immigration removals. …

ICE quickly announced an expansion of efforts in Colorado to target members of the violent Venezuelan street gang, Tren de Aragua.

This was accomplished despite Democrat obstruction:

Denver Mayor Mike Johnston and Colorado Gov. Jared Polis worked to thwart the president’s efforts.

These people do not mean the country well.

Lots of Transsexuals Among Pro-Hamas Militants

Due to liberalism-induced societal decay and an aggressive brainwashing campaign via the MSM, government schools, and social media, up to 1.6% of Americans no longer know whether they are male or female, demanding to be referred to as “they/them.” The percentage is much higher among militant moonbats protesting against Jews on behalf of Islamic terrorists.

The group was part of a mob that raided and vandalized Butler Library, handed out pro-Hamas pamphlets, and injured two security officials. …

The disproportionate numbers come amid growing awareness of transgender-inspired violence which has in recent years included shootings in Covenant School in Tennessee, STEM School Highlands Ranch shooting in Colorado, and a 2018 mass shooting in Aberdeen, Maryland, which left four dead. Ted Kaczynski, the Unabomber, also famously suffered from gender dysphoria, and once attempted a sex change.

If identifying as gluten-intolerant doesn’t catch fire the way LGBTism has, maybe they should change the theme to Covid neurosis. They could rename it Camp Fauci.
