For the sake of fairness, let’s let a leftist explain her point of view. Progressives only control CNN/ABC/CBS/NBC/MSNBC/PBS/NPR and every other media outlet except for a handful of rebellious outliers that are probably living on borrowed time. We don’t want them to feel that they are being silenced.
Most of the leftists on TV are difficult to take seriously, but this woman maintains a relatively solemn demeanor while explaining why the US military must be abolished for the sake of the weather:

Discipline, regimentation, cohesion. All are crucial to a fighting force. But they are not needed by the US Marines, now that the purpose of the American military is not to win wars but to advance liberal social engineering objectives. That’s why Lt Sukhbir Toor, whose parents are immigrants from India, is allowed to grow his hair out and wear a beard and turban instead of complying with the dress code.
Toor still has to present himself like a Marine to go into combat or participate in a ceremonial unit. So, with the help of the Sikh Coalition, he is suing.

The Sikh Coalition said this amounted to an “incomplete and flawed accommodation … which recognizes his right to maintain his articles of faith but still imposes undue restrictions on his free exercise of religion.”
Imagine if a Christian demanded similar exemptions and accommodations. The laughter would be audible in outer space.
As for discipline, regimentation, cohesion, et cetera, Amrith Kaur Aakre of the Sikh Coalition barks that “outdated notions of uniformity and unit cohesion … are not reflective of the diversity of our nation.”
How did Toor get in the Marines in the first place? He cut his hair and shaved.
That won’t be required in the future, as we progress as a society toward maximum wokeness. Recruits will probably be entitled to bring their emotional support puppies with them to boot camp.
Before long, however, new requirements will be applied. Anyone wanting to serve in the military will have to know Chinese, so as to be able to follow orders.

It was either treason or incompetence taken to levels never seen previously. Yet there has been no accountability for Biden’s catastrophically bungled withdrawal from Afghanistan. On the contrary, the only person punished (other than the Americans senselessly allowed to be killed or left behind, the military dogs abandoned, and the innocent civilians killed in a “righteous” drone strike) has been Marine Lieutenant Colonel Stuart Scheller, who was relieved of command after calling for accountability. He resigned his commission. Now he has been imprisoned:
Scheller first rose to internet stardom by posting a video to Facebook blasting military leaders for the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, questioning their command decisions on the events leading up to and during the final evacuation effort.
Scheller would go on to release several more videos, generating praise and controversy while drawing the ire of military leadership. Eventually, he was told by superiors to stop posting to social media altogether, an order he immediately ignored by posting about the gag order.
At the end of his last video, he indicated that he knew where he was headed, saying, “Col Emmel please have the MPs waiting for me at 0800 on Monday. I’m ready for jail.”
Scheller is “currently in pre-trial confinement,” a spokesperson for Training and Education Command said of the officer’s status.
No wonder New York Governor Kathy Hochul wants to replace healthcare workers who won’t obey intrusive Covid decrees to be replaced with the military. That way, anyone who needs an attitude adjustment can be thrown in the brig.
Obama purged the officer corps, leaving people of Mark Milley’s caliber to oversee the greatest military in the world. Right after taking power, leftist Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin called for a military-wide stand-down to purge the rest of the armed services. The mission is to remove those likely to be loyal to the Constitution and not likely to be willing to fire on American citizens on behalf of the ongoing hard left power grab.
Given that the military has always been a stronghold of patriotism, Austin et al. have a difficult job. Fortunately for them, Covid is here to help:
Four branches of the U.S. armed forces have announced COVID vaccination deadlines under a Pentagon mandate to jab the entire military, with the army becoming the latest to set the date.
Anybody who puts up a fuss will be flagged as problematic.
Per the Army Times recent report, 11 service members died of COVID complications in August, followed immediately by another death in the first few days of September, which brought the military’s total death count to 43. That, per the outlet, accounts for a COVID mortality rate among the military at 0.02 percent.
Hardly a crisis. Whether all 43 actually died primarily of Covid is doubtful.
For young servicemembers who presumably do not suffer from obesity or debilitating medical conditions, vaccination makes little sense. For those who have already had Covid, it makes no sense whatsoever — except for political reasons.
[H]igh-ranking staff, such as commanders, command sergeants majors, first sergeants, and officers in Command Select List (CSL), who refuse to get vaccinated and have not filed for the exemptions, will face immediate suspension from their leadership role. …
Military.com explains that soldiers who refuse to comply with the vaccination rules will be counseled by their chain of command and, eventually, may face relief of duties and discharge.
Mark Milley and Lloyd Austin proved in Afghanistan that they can’t even lose wars competently, much less win them. However, under Biden and his handlers, war isn’t their job. They are there to promote the regime’s ideology, critical race theory, according to which we are not individuals but merely interchangeable representatives of our race, good races being darker than the bad race, which is white.
Austin advanced the mission from the moment he took office, with a military-wide stand-down to purge the ranks of “extremists” resistance to CRT ideology. Milley has advanced it by brainwashing West Point cadets and barking about “white rage.”
Although most Americans probably see both of them as useless stooges, they are succeeding so well at their task of imposing ideological homogenization that even 3-year-olds are subjected to indoctrination:

The goal of critical race theory and critical theory more broadly is to employ cultural Marxism to destroy America as it was founded so as to replace it with a totally different country that complies with an oligarchical collectivist conception of utopia.
Letting people devoted to our nation’s destruction take control of the military will not end well.
The story is only beginning regarding Stuart Scheller, the Marine Lieutenant Colonel who fell on his sword by demanding accountability from the left-wing political hacks at the top of the command structure (e.g., Lloyd Austin, Mark Milley) for the bloody debacle in Afghanistan that killed 11 Marines, a Navy corpsman, and an Army soldier after our Taliban enemies were bizarrely entrusted to provide security for Americans.
Scheller was promptly relieved of his command. He then resigned his commission, ending a brilliant 17-year career during which he received a V device for combat valor and a Bronze Star. He is forfeiting all entitlements, including medical care and a potential $2 million pension fund.
As a private citizen with nothing to lose, Scheller is speaking even more bluntly:
“I demand accountability, at all levels. If we don’t get it, I’m bringing it.”
He also quoted Thomas Jefferson, saying “every generation needs a revolution.”
While the bloated, incompetent, leftist-subverted establishment gasps in horrified amazement,
Scheller’s family and former troops say they’re not surprised the officer sacrificed his career in order to tell his truth.
As his father Stuart Sr puts it,
“He has put his life on the line for fellow Marines so putting his career on the line like this does not surprise us.”
The Founding Fathers would have recognized Stuart Scheller as an American. That isn’t true of many these days. If the purges that started under Obama and continue under Biden achieve their objective, it won’t be true of anyone in the armed forces.

Scheller has certainly established his honor. Otherwise, this was a futile gesture — unless enough of us have the courage to follow him. In that case, there is still hope that we can pull the country out of its tailspin.
Don’t blame US troops. A fish rots from the head — although it won’t help your military career to point this out.
The problem with training people to become fearless in battle is that they can become fearless in other respects as well. Marine Lt Col Stuart Scheller is a case in point as he falls on his sword for his country:

The top ranks of the military are infested with left-wing political hacks. This is why we are no match for the Taliban — leave alone China. It bears repeating:
America has an army of lions led by a senile moonbat. We may have a limited amount of time to correct this unacceptable state of affairs.
Immediately upon taking his position, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin proclaimed a military stand-down for an ideological purge of those who may not be on board with the authoritarian left’s fundamental transformation of America. The purpose was to finish the work begun by Obama’s purge of the officer corps. If Democrats succeed, the only people left in the military will sound like this sergeant:

Democrats openly push an agenda likely to lead to another civil war (e.g., seizing unconstitutional federal control of elections to reduce them to farces, packing the Supreme Court). They do this because they expect to win, since they control the military and have been systematically subverting it. A victory would allow them to move directly to a postconstitutional Marxist system of government, with those deemed likely to resist incarcerated in gulags.
The humiliating defeat in Afghanistan has taught them nothing about asymmetrical warfare. So long as Americans are clear on who the enemy is, we will defeat it — and Democrats have been making it vividly clear.
