Laying the Groundwork to Cancel John Wayne

John Wayne became an icon by emblematizing the rugged individualism that made America great. This is why he must be canceled. However, Wayne remains such a cultural giant that despite their efforts Democrats have not even managed to change the name of John Wayne Airport in Orange County, California. A disgraceful event from Hollywood history may give them the pretext they need.

On March 27, 1973, the actor Marlon Brando declines the Academy Award for Best Actor for his career-reviving performance in The Godfather. The Native American actress Sacheen Littlefeather attended the ceremony in Brando’s place, stating that the actor “very regretfully” could not accept the award, as he was protesting Hollywood’s portrayal of Native Americans in film.

What a posturing, sanctimonious jackass. Note that the award he threw back in Tinseltown’s face was granted to him for playing an Italian mobster. This is closer to a bigoted stereotype than Hollywood’s white-washed depiction of the horrific Stone Age barbarism prevailing in the wild West before it was tamed.

Having portrayed the sort of guy who tamed it has John Wayne in the crosshairs of the thought police:

While some cheered Littlefeather on, many others voiced their disagreement with what she was saying. Amongst them was Wayne, who regularly starred as a cowboy who was often at odds with Indigenous characters.

“During my presentation, he was coming towards me to forcibly take me off the stage, and he had to be restrained by six security men to prevent him from doing so,” Littlefeather told The Guardian in a 2021 interview that has resurfaced.

Whether this is an accurate depiction of the event is irrelevant. Who is going to call Sacheen Littlefeather a liar? That could get you canceled — which is the fate they have in mind for John Wayne.

Liberal Agenda Applied Through Modern Art

To understand what leftism does to every institution it infiltrates, look to modern art, which succumbed to moonbattery long ago:

The escalation from passing trash off as art to using trash to deface real art exemplifies the malicious mentality of postmodernism. Critical Theory — prominently including our state religion under Democrat rule, Critical Race Theory — is an outgrowth of postmodernism (see the recommended book Cynical Theories for details).

Postmodernists seek to “deconstruct” — that is, to disfigure, desecrate, and destroy. Note that they do the same thing to children’s bodies by deconstructing gender.

The Culture War is total war. The losing side will be eradicated. If we lose, Thomas Picton will never have existed — and neither will any art worth looking at.

Joan of Arc Was Now Nonbinary

Liberal social engineers cleverly make efficient use of their resources by waging their War on History and War on Women simultaneously. Joan of Arc was no longer who she was. She was no longer a woman. Now she was “nonbinary”:

If Anne Boleyn can be an African, why can’t Joan of Arc be a sexually deranged freakazoid?

The patron saint of France ought to be grateful. By the time moonbats are through bringing Western Civilization into line with woke ideology, the only alternative great historical figures have to transmogrification will be erasure.

Call for “Action” Against Mount Rushmore

The purpose of ESPN is to present leftism in the context of sports entertainment, so as to brainwash people who have no interest in politics. An audience is easier to manipulate when it expects only to be entertained, not to be indoctrinated. The moonbattery pushed by ESPN does not attempt to win arguments, but only to present a worldview that the audience is implicitly expected to share. This is the worldview of our liberal ruling class. It is hostile to American civilization, which progressives are in the process of eradicating.

Mount Rushmore is one of America’s most iconic monuments, featuring four of our greatest presidents, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, and Teddy Roosevelt. Liberals want these giants erased, so as to replace them with a new class of heroes, such as George Floyd, who will be apt representatives of the country they wish to create where America used to be.

To that end, ESPN’s Jalen Rose calls for the very words “Mount Rushmore” to be struck from the Newspeak Dictionary as unspeakable, and for his audience to “take action” against the monument:

There could be no more profound an enemy than we face in politically correct liberals. They want not only to conquer and destroy America, but to twist, defile, and erase its history, so that it will be as if our nation never existed. Compared to Jalen Rose and the liberal ruling class that provides him with a megaphone, our worst foreign adversaries are friends.

LGBT Bullies Attack Archeology

Leftists wage war on history because they want to impose their twisted ideology retroactively, not only on today’s world but also on the past. Their control of education and the media will allow them to accomplish this only after actual history has been discredited and erased. The extension of liberal ideology into the past now extends beyond history, into prehistoric times that we can observe only through archaeology — a field that has drawn the attention of LGBT bullies:

It is possible to determine whether a skeleton is from a biological male or female using objective observations based on the size and shape of the bones. …

But gender activists argue scientists cannot know how an ancient individual identified themselves.

“You might know the argument that the archaeologists who find your bones one day will assign you the same gender as you had at birth, so regardless of whether you transition, you can’t escape your assigned sex,” tweeted Canadian Master’s degree candidate Emma Palladino last week.

Moonbats don’t like being reminded that scientists will be able to dig up Will “Lia” Thomas’s bones 100,000 years from now and know that he was a man, regardless of whether he gets the NCAA Woman of the Year award.

Palladino says that using factual scientific information to assign gender to ancient humans is “bullsh**.”

For an indication of how far leftists have come in replacing history with their ideology, consider that Associate Professor Jennifer Raff of the University of Kansas …

…suggested scientists cannot know the gender of a 9,000 year-old biologically Peruvian hunter because they don’t know whether the hunter identified as male or female – a “duality” concept she says was “imposed by Christian colonizers.”

People that crazy are not just running around loose, evading the butterfly nets of the men in white coats; they are in charge.

Palladino and Raff demonstrate what can pass for science in a society dominated by progressives. As for what can pass for religion, Matt Walsh’s famous question “What is a woman?” made it to Senior Bishop Rt Rev Robert Innes of the Church of England. His answer:

“There is no official definition, which reflects the fact that until fairly recently definitions of this kind were thought to be self-evident, as reflected in the marriage liturgy.”

Fair enough. But then he started quacking about “complexities associated with gender identity.” He called for “additional care” in the use of controversial terms like woman.

Moonbattery is a jealous god. It does not tolerate the existence of anything, in any area of life, that does not comply with political correctness. The totalitarian mentality of our liberal ruling class is reducing civilization to a lunatic asylum without walls.

Moonbats Defile Monticello

To destroy a nation, you have to turn it against its own heritage. You have to tear down its greatest heroes. This is why the Black Lives Matter riots prominently featured the destruction of statues of the Founding Fathers. It is why Monticello — long preserved as a shrine to the greatness of the author of the Declaration of Independence — is now being used by America’s enemies to propagandize against its creator Thomas Jefferson:

The new emphasis is the culmination of a 10-year effort to balance the historical record, officials of the Thomas Jefferson Foundation, the nonprofit that owns the estate, have said.

But visitors complain that employees go out of their way to belittle Jefferson and his life.

Jefferson has been targeted for erasure on the grounds that he took part in a society that did not comply with 21st standards of political correctness. Like the rest of the landowners in 18th century Virginia, he had slaves.

Already his statue has been expelled from New York City Council by Bill de Blasio after nearly 2 centuries. Now they have transformed Monticello into a soapbox from which to denounce him, rendering the monument pointless.

The propaganda is executed with the subtlety we have come to expect of progressives. The ticket booth in the visitor’s center is “decorated with a contemporary painting of Jefferson’s weeping slaves.” Exhibits focus on Sally Hemings, a mixed race slave with whom Jefferson allegedly had children. If liberals prevail, this possibly fictional relationship is all that will be remembered about him.

Upon entering the mansion, visitors are confronted by a gigantic modern painting of a faceless black man. It was commissioned in honor of “Juneteenth.” Smirks Monticello guide Susan Woodward,

“It’s quite provocative, I do believe.”

The book shop features the excretions of proponents of critical race theory Ibram X. Kendi and Ta-Nehisi Coates. How provocative.

The message that Jefferson owned slaves and was therefore a bad man is ubiquitous. Visitors are also belligerently reminded that Monticello was built on land where sacred savages once roamed happy and free, before evil white people like Jefferson came to oppress them.

This will surprise no one:

The Thomas Jefferson Foundation is run by a roster of big-money Dem donors and former Democratic officials…

The foundation is chaired by Melody Barnes, former assistant to Barack Obama and director of the White House Domestic Policy Council, who has griped in WaPo about all the nice things people say about that scoundrel Thomas Jefferson.

Allowing leftists to take over Monticello is like putting satanists in charge of the Vatican.
