Plans to pay blacks gargantuan sums of public money explicitly for being black are so insane that people probably assume not even Democrats would go through with them. But nothing is too insane for moonbats to go through with:

A Chicago suburb has become the first city in the nation to begin disbursing reparations payments to black residents over discrimination and limited access to housing, the Wall Street Journal reported Monday.

Approximately 140 residents in Evanston, Illinois, will receive $25,000 from the city by the end of the year, according to the outlet.

In 2019, the city of roughly 75,000 residents approved a $10 million reparations package to be distributed over 10 years. So far, the city has already disbursed reparations payments to sixteen qualified residents, the Evanston Round Table reported.

With government, what starts small expands rapidly to monstrous proportions.

Justin Hansford, the head of the Thurgood Marshall Civil Rights Center at Howard University, said he sees the city’s reparations plan as “a test run for the whole country.”

No doubt Howard University alumnus Kamala “Heartbeat Away” Harris concurs. We can expect her to deliver some enlighteningly esoteric thoughts on the matter, as soon as she feels we have properly digested her revelations about culture.

Already official reparations recommendations have reached $5 million per sacred black person in San Francisco. Thanks to reparations math, the number will soon climb high enough to require new currency with extra zeroes, as in Zimbabwe.

Will they be happy when we bankrupt the country to hand them free money for being black directly instead of through the welfare state? No:

Resident and civil rights activist Bennett Johnson … argued that black residents were still being “discriminated” against and “hurt,” the Evanston Round Table reported. He also contended that the payments were not enough.

“I believe that [Evanston is] doing the same thing that we’ve done in the past, downgrading the ability of Black people to do things for themselves,” Johnson stated. “We could realize that if we don’t let Black people control this, we [are] still doing the same thing that we’ve done in the past.”

Hand them a blank check and let them fill in the amount. That way, they are doing something for themselves.

To get an idea of what life in America will be like when Democrats’ stated demographic objective is achieved and whites are a minority, consider San Francisco’s African American Reparations Advisory Committee:

“Straight white men are abusive. Straight white men are serial killers,” [committee member Nikcole] Cunningham told [The Daily Telegraph]. “They have the most — I watch these shows — the most serial killers. Straight white men are the ones who are shooting up schools, right?”

Therefore, she concludes, “they are a danger to society.”

Not just white guys who aren’t perverts but America itself is a menace, because “white supremacy is ingrained in the DNA” of the USA. So why not loot it into oblivion under the banner of “reparations”?

The committee — which was established in 2020 to advise officials on how to address discrimination — seeks to grant each eligible black resident $5 million in reparations for slavery.

Cunningham demands that whites be punished for slavery, which was practiced by all races, was officially abolished in the USA 158 years ago, and was never legal in California.

The California Reparations Task Force has more recommendations, including the elimination of child support debt for privileged blacks. You had to know Biden’s ongoing campaign to make other people pay for student loans would not be the last word in debt cancelation.

California’s reparations task force wants state lawmakers to ban the arrest and prosecution of people who violate laws against public urination and other “public disorder offenses,” the task force said in its final report released last week.

Other public disorder offenses to be greenlit include “camping” (i.e., living on the sidewalk), public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and trespassing. Theft doesn’t need to be officially approved because California has effectively already done that.

Imagine a reparations task force as ruling junta dictating every aspect of American life. That’s our near future, unless the trajectory changes.

Juneteenth was made a federal holiday so that moonbats like Dick Durbin and RINOs like John Cornyn could reward those who participated in Black Lives Matter riots. From the start, fitting traditions took root. The mayhem continues, with celebrations already underway in the Chicago suburb Willowbrook:

At least 23 people were shot, one fatally, early Sunday during a gathering in a suburban Chicago parking lot that drew hundreds of people to celebrate Juneteenth, authorities said.

TV news video showed the strip mall lot in Willowbrook filled with debris and police tape, about 20 miles (32.1 kilometers) southwest of Chicago. The DuPage County Sheriff’s Office described it as a “peaceful gathering” to celebrate Juneteenth that suddenly turned violent as a number of people fired multiple shots into the crowd.

A motive for the attack wasn’t immediately known, and no one was arrested by early afternoon.

Since when is a motive required? Festive celebrations of urban culture are their own reward.

Celebrate Juneteenth by keeping your head down, avoiding diverse hellholes like Chicago and its environs, and waiting for black thugs who have been deliberately encouraged to run amok to push the body count high enough that Democrats think confiscating guns from law-abiding citizens will float.

If you are going to rent out your property to vacationers, do it in Jamaica. You won’t have to worry about getting canceled for racism if experience persuades you to adopt a policy like this one:

A Jamaican business owner who leases small cottages as short-term rentals to tourists has said she will be blocking “Black Americans” from renting from her in the future.

Like most everyone in Jamaica, she is black herself.

The owner said she rents to people from all over the world but has had difficulty with most of her Black American clientele. She categorized them as “Disrespectful, entitled, unappreciative” and said the reason they are is because they have been spoiled and given too much “free sh[**]” in America.

The corrosive effects of our handout society are evident from abroad. Yet through the use of ideological blinders, many Americans manage not to perceive it.

Alleged housing discrimination is among the pretexts supporting demands that blacks be given still more free sh**.

Jamaica had better hope it never falls under Democrat rule. Imagine how much it would have to inflate its currency to pay itself reparations.

Rather than the groveling apology we have come to expect, she responded to the inevitable social media backlash from the woke mob with this:

She said those complaining are the clientele she hopes to weed out, “My peace is more important than your frickin’ opinion.”

She announced on Instagram that she would rather “let goats and cows into my house than have you come in and disrespect it.” If only her attitude were more prevalent in the USA, goats and cows would not currently run the place.
