There is an easy way to determine whether a publication is for real or a mouthpiece for the liberal establishment. See what it has to say about Oliver Anthony. Rolling Stone and National Review tip their hands by putting him down. Christianity Today vilifies Oliver Anthony for failing to worship the welfare state — the day after praising the tawdry moonbat goddesses presented to us by the entertainment industry.

Compare these titles:

Revere vapid moonbat pop stars and lap up the idiotic leftist sludge oozing out of Tinseltown. Shun Oliver Anthony. Otherwise you ain’t Christian, as Joe Biden might put it.

The money-changers have taken over the temple. Joel Abbott isn’t liking it:

Christianity Today wants you to know that Taylor Swift – the avatar of the sexually liberated, unmarried, childless modern woman – and the “Barbie” film, with its direct feminist messages of women freeing themselves from the Patriarchy, are “bringing us together.” …

[T]he flagship Christian publication of the Western world (called “Christendom” in olden times) is out here stumping for vain, prideful women who have made sex and beauty their gods and have in turn become godlike symbols for millions of women seeking their own “liberated” selves.

“Liberation” in this sense is a synonym for “shallow self-indulgence.”

Anthony credits God for his success, kicked off his first public performance since his discovery by reading Psalm 37, and rejects greed and egomaniacal narcissism in favor of the humility that makes genuine Christians so much more fun to be around than moonbats.

In contrast, nothing could be less Christian than the liberal establishment, including ostensibly Christian institutions that have been subverted to serve moonbattery.

Real people have reacted differently. That’s why “Rich Men North of Richmond” now tops the iTunes global charts.

Sometimes it feels like you’re living in the aftermath of Invasion of the Body Snatchers, and everyone out there is a soulless pod person. But it isn’t true. Here’s how you know:

Forbidden From Adopting for Being Catholic

The main purpose of our government is to impose the ideology of our ruling class. Sincere Christians must be eradicated before ideological homogeneity can be achieved. Consequently, they continue to be targeted by the FBI. In deep blue Massachusetts, they are not allowed to adopt:

Mike and Kitty Burke’s application to foster was denied by the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families (DCF) because they “would not be affirming to a child who identified as LGBTQIA”.

Being Catholic, they would not sexually corrupt children in their care. Therefore, they are unfit.

According to court papers, during the application process the Burkes shared their beliefs “that marriage is between a woman and a man and that sexual relations are to be kept within the bounds of such a marriage”.

This conventional view is now regarded as impermissible thoughtcrime by the Powers That Be.

They also told the assessor representing the DCF, who interviewed them in their own home, that due to their “religious beliefs, they would not assist a medical gender transition for a hypothetical future child”.

No one who would deform a child’s body on behalf of the LGBT agenda should be left alone with a child, let alone given custody. But liberals have turned everything upside down and backward.

William McGurn puts this depraved tyranny in the context of the culturally catastrophic Obergefell decision imposing homosexual marriage:

“It will be used to vilify Americans who are unwilling to assent to the new orthodoxy,” [dissenting Samuel Alito] wrote. “In the course of its opinion, the majority compares traditional marriage laws to laws that denied equal treatment for African-Americans and women. . . . The implications of this analogy will be exploited by those who are determined to stamp out every vestige of dissent.”

You couldn’t find more suitable adoptive parents than the Burkes:

Mr. Burke deployed to Iraq as a Marine, while Mrs. Burke is a former paraprofessional for kids with special needs.

In stark contrast to our liberal overlords, they are tolerant:

The Burkes were willing to accept children of any race, culture or ethnicity, as well as some special needs. They would even take siblings.

But this disqualifies them:

In the license study describing the family, the Massachusetts DCF noted that “Kitty and Mike are devoutly Roman Catholic and not only attend church with regular frequency, they both also work for local churches as musicians.”

How are social engineers supposed to create a society modeled on San Francisco bathhouses if children are exposed to dissident viewpoints?

The author of their license study took care to note that the Burkes are “lovely people.” But with regard to LGBT issues, she also said “their faith is not supportive and neither are they.”

The objective is not to place needy children in stable homes, but to advance the leftist agenda. Where government is involved that is always the objective, to the extent that liberals have consolidated control.

LGBT Blasphemy Studies at University of Chicago

Now that the Long March Through the Institutions has claimed higher education, religious studies would more accurately be called “blasphemy studies”:

The University of Chicago’s 2023-2024 course catalog includes a religious studies course on “Queering God,” applying LGBTQ+ ideology to different religions and examining the ways gender is being reimagined in theology.

“Is God queer?” asks the course description. “We will analyze the ways that contemporary artists, activists, and scholars are using theology to reimagine gender and experiment with new relational forms.”

Imagine being forced to pay off other people’s student loans in defiance of a Supreme Court ruling so that can moonbats can reimagine gender rather than work.

Speaking of theology, we are reminded again why the LGBT movement chose the rainbow as its symbol. It was already the symbol of God’s promise never again to destroy the world with a flood to punish our sins. The main point of LGBTism is to taunt God.

That’s why liberals ram it down our throats, even in theology courses — or rather, especially in theology courses. Something else moonbattery has appropriated from Christianity is the commandment, “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.”

Church of England Is No Longer Christian

If the Catholic Church is subverted by liberals, it will not be the first to fall. Already, the Anglican Church is no longer Christian in any meaningful sense. The principal leader of the church is not a Christian but a moonbat:

Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby, the world’s foremost Anglican prelate, wants universities that [allow] trans people to be “insulted” to face funding cuts and loss of status.

Coming out of Pride Month, we are all well aware that to “insult” a trans person is to say anything they construe as unsupportive. This will soon be a felony in Michigan.

This is not sensitivity. It is worship. Welby must have set aside his Bible in favor of the Guardian before he got to the part that reads “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.”

The Church of England, the mother church of the Episcopal Church in the United States, has become increasingly political, pushing open borders and encouraging children to “play with the many cloaks of [gender] identity” in schools. Anglican churches in Africa recently split from Welby after the Church of England decided to begin blessing same-sex marriages.

“Male and female he created them” is another Bible passage Welby must have missed out on, as well as the many passages condemning homosexual behavior in the strongest terms (Leviticus 18:22, Leviticus 20:13, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, Romans 1:26-27, Jude 1:7, et cetera).

Jesus taught the Lord’s Prayer. Anglican clergy could not get through the second word of it without tripping over their true religion, moonbattery:

The language in the Lord’s Prayer might be “problematic” for some people, the archbishop of York said Friday during his address to a meeting of the Church of England’s ruling body.

The Most Rev. Stephen Cottrell, the archbishop of York, was specifically referring to the words “Our Father,” which opens the prayer that Jesus taught when his disciples asked him how they should pray.

“I know the word ‘father’ is problematic for those whose experience of earthly fathers has been destructive and abusive, and for all of us who have labored rather too much from an oppressively patriarchal grip on life,” Cottrell said in his address.

Cottrell is the second-most senior bishop of the church and the most senior in northern England, where he serves as the leader of 12 dioceses. Alongside the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, Cottrell is a leading spokesperson on behalf of the Church of England.

Welby himself has declared God to be nonbinary.

To prevent this appalling fate from befalling your church, never let moonbats get a foothold. As with every other institution, first they infiltrate, then they subvert and defile, finally they destroy.

Pope Meets With Bill Clinton and Alex Soros

Pope Francis has alarmed many Catholics with his seeming devotion to a different religion, namely moonbattery. This won’t reassure them:

Bill Clinton and Alex Soros met with Pope Francis during an unannounced private audience on July 5th. Alex Soros is chairman of the Open Society Foundations and the son of billionaire leftist financier George Soros.

As for Clinton, he was only recently supplanted by Hunter Biden as the apotheosis of liberal elite lawlessness and degeneracy.

Under George Soros, Open Society made significant monetary contributions to legalize abortion in traditional Catholic countries such as Ireland, Poland, and Mexico. The group has also supported efforts in the United States to promote abortion and change the political opinions of American Catholics in contradiction to Catholic teaching.

Not someone you want meeting with a left-leaning pope. Nor is Clinton, who likely hit it off with Francis better than he did with John Paul II as president:

Clinton previously made a 1994 visit to the Vatican, meeting with Pope St. John Paul II. Soon after the visit, the United States clashed with the Vatican about a UN proposal to guarantee abortion under international law.

When the Catholic Church succumbs to liberals on the sanctity of innocent life, you will know that it has become a church under enemy occupation.

Christian Schools Subverted

The way to set back Christianity is not to board up churches and throw priests into gulags like Joseph Stalin. An insidious approach has proven more effective. You have to infiltrate and subvert, as leftists have done with so many other institutions. This approach destroys Christian morale by convincing them that their churches are not worth attending. As the churches wither and die, they can be exploited to advance an anti-Christian agenda. This strategy applies also to ostensibly Christian universities.

For example:

Texas Christian University offered a “Queer Art of Drag” course for the spring 2023 semester that required students create “drag personas” and give a performance.

The course was offered by the school’s Women and Gender Studies department and was taught by Dr. Nino Testa, also known by his drag persona “Maria Von Clapp.”

“Clapp” may refer to the venereal diseases that spread like wildfire through the homosexual community.

According to the course website:

“Critical drag explores drag performance as an outlet for social critique, pedagogy, and queer world making.”

How do educrats at Christian schools react to those who do not share their commitment to “queer world making”? Promise Keepers found out:

Belmont University, a private Christian college in Nashville, Tennessee, announced last week it had canceled a scheduled event with Promise Keepers citing a conflict of values.

Promise Keepers, a noted Christian men’s ministry, said in a press release the event’s cancellation occurred after the ministry released a statement at the end of last month, reaffirming its support for biblical marriage between one man and one woman and what it perceives to be the dangers of gender ideology.

“We will not stand on the sidelines and remain quiet. As fathers, husbands, grandfathers, and young men—we see the dangers of gender ideology and the harm it causes,” the organization’s statement said. “At Promise Keepers, we believe it is more important than ever to stand up boldly for what we believe as Christians. God’s Word is very clear on this topic—and we also see the way gender ideology has damaged lives, mutilated bodies, and torn apart families in our own communities.”

Liberals can’t argue with that and still pretend to be Christian. So they deplatform.

Free speech fares about as well as Christianity on college campuses.

Promise Keepers CEO Ken Harrison was specifically told that the muzzling was in response to “the statement we put out a week before Pride week.”

Wonders Harrison,

“The state of Christian colleges today is really concerning and people need to know this, that Belmont is by no way unique in this way. If you go on their homepage it is all Christian this and Christian that and training people for Christ. What does that mean when you deny the basic tenets of scripture?”

It means these schools have been commandeered and are now the opposite of Christian.

Drag Queen Bible Story Hour

What Joe Biden has been doing to the USA by enabling obscene displays on the White House lawn, other moonbats inflict on Christianity by infiltrating and subverting churches. The sacrilege is so over the top that yesterday in San Francisco, Calvary Presbyterian hosted what it openly billed as Drag Queen Bible Story Hour:

Join drag artists singer-songwriter Flamy Grant (aka, Matthew Blake-Lovegood) and storyteller Joann Fabrixxx (aka, The Rev. Sam Lundquist, PCUSA), as we drag into Pride Week with Christian contemporary music and Bible stories. Flamy is fresh from her one-woman show in San Jose, and Joann will have just preached a sermon at St. John’s Presbyterian Church. Stories will include What is God Like?, excerpts from the Growing in God’s Love Story Bible, and I Want to Be a Vase. This is a worship service for all ages—from womb to tomb!

Note that they explicitly target children. The appropriateness can be judged by the XXX in Joann Fabrixxx. As you might imagine, he is a truly creepy guy.

Disappointingly, the blasphemous church was not hit by lightning like the subverted First Congregational United Church in Massachusetts. The sin in San Francisco has built up enough by now to justify a major earthquake if not a large meteor.
