Exploiting Covid to Purge Military

Obama purged the officer corps, leaving people of Mark Milley’s caliber to oversee the greatest military in the world. Right after taking power, leftist Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin called for a military-wide stand-down to purge the rest of the armed services. The mission is to remove those likely to be loyal to the Constitution and not likely to be willing to fire on American citizens on behalf of the ongoing hard left power grab.

Given that the military has always been a stronghold of patriotism, Austin et al. have a difficult job. Fortunately for them, Covid is here to help:

Four branches of the U.S. armed forces have announced COVID vaccination deadlines under a Pentagon mandate to jab the entire military, with the army becoming the latest to set the date.

Anybody who puts up a fuss will be flagged as problematic.

Per the Army Times recent report, 11 service members died of COVID complications in August, followed immediately by another death in the first few days of September, which brought the military’s total death count to 43. That, per the outlet, accounts for a COVID mortality rate among the military at 0.02 percent.

Hardly a crisis. Whether all 43 actually died primarily of Covid is doubtful.

For young servicemembers who presumably do not suffer from obesity or debilitating medical conditions, vaccination makes little sense. For those who have already had Covid, it makes no sense whatsoever — except for political reasons.

[H]igh-ranking staff, such as commanders, command sergeants majors, first sergeants, and officers in Command Select List (CSL), who refuse to get vaccinated and have not filed for the exemptions, will face immediate suspension from their leadership role. …

Military.com explains that soldiers who refuse to comply with the vaccination rules will be counseled by their chain of command and, eventually, may face relief of duties and discharge.

The purge continues.

According to the “disparate impact” aspect of Critical Race Theory, the core ideology of our Democrat rulers, if something negatively effects blacks more than whites, it must be racist. Blacks have been less likely to be vaccinated than whites, and it is not because the vaccine is not available to them. Yet liberals have been ratcheting up discrimination against those who haven’t gotten the jab, even though vaccination makes no sense for anyone with natural immunity.

Democrats screech that asking voters to show identification is “Jim Crow.” If they stayed true to their own rules, they would admit that this is closer to Jim Crow:

As Nicki Minaj has been reminding us, not everyone in the entertainment industry is a spineless moonbat conformist. Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine is an actual countermoonbat.

At a concert in Camden on Wednesday, Mustaine let his fans know where he stands on the authoritarian overreaction to Covid:

“I just want to tell you how great it is. Look around you, guys. Look to your right, look to your left, and look how wonderful this is. We’re all here together. … We’re not freaking out, and we’re not yelling at people, ‘Where’s your f***ing mask?’”

Megadeth concerts are the wrong place to look for mask Karens.

“F*** Joe Biden” and the chant “USA” erupted from the crowd. Mustaine continued:

“Right now, what’s going on is tyranny. This is called tyranny. Look it up when you get home. And tyranny isn’t only in government. Tyranny right now is in the schools and tyranny is in the medical business. … We have the power… we have the power to change things.”

That we do. But we will have to stand up to the moonbats and push back.

Not even Big Government is big enough to impose absolute tyranny by itself. It needs self-righteous volunteers like this male Karen to snuff out the last liberty.

If masks and vaccines do any good, this moonbat with his silly vaccination badge need not worry about whether other people avail themselves of them — except this is not about health, any more than renaming the Cleveland Indians is about protecting Indians from racist oppression. For leftists, bullying is an end in itself.

Kathy Hochul Forces Pointless Masks on Toddlers

Evidence accrues that New York Governor Kathy Hochul is even worse than the disgraced tyrant she replaced. Now she forces toddlers to attempt to breathe through snot-encrusted masks all day for no legitimate reason:

Wearing masks is particularly unhealthy for children (see here and here). There is no significant upside to making kids wear masks to counter the negative impact. Suppose the masks — which are probably rarely on their faces straight anyway — actually do protect toddlers from Covid; so what? Even the leftists at NPR admit Covid is no more serious than everyday viruses for small children. Only a lunatic would impose the masks in the name of the flu. Mask mandates are child abuse.

Profiles in Countermoonbattery: Nikki Minaj

The military has always been a bastion of conservative values; progressives have attacked it from within by installing leftists like Mark Milley and Lloyd Austin in key positions. Now moonbats get a taste of their own medicine, as they are attacked from within their most secure redoubt — the entertainment industry. Nikki Minaj has doubled down on her rebellious stance.

First, she enraged the liberal establishment with a commonsense tweet advising those unsure whether to get the Covid jab as Biden demands to “pray on it & make sure you’re comfortable with ur decision, not bullied.”

The mob came at her like a swarm of flying monkeys. Admirably, she chose not to cower and apologize like most do these days, but to stand her ground and denounce leftist cancel culture, aptly comparing it to the totalitarianism imposed by the regime in communist China:

This illustrates why the country used to function and doesn’t anymore. No doubt there is plenty that most conservatives would disagree with Nikki Minaj about, but we can respect each other because we are all Americans who agree on the importance of fundamental freedoms like free speech and bodily autonomy. Liberals used to agree too — but not anymore, which is why Nikki Minaj has set their hair on fire.
