Ted Cruz Turns Tables on Dems Regarding Voter Suppression

The rest of the news is smoke and mirrors to keep us distracted. The only political issue that matters right now is HR1/SB1, a.k.a. the Orwellian “For the People Act,” which shockingly has already passed in the House. This radical legislation would put the Democrat Party in charge of elections at the federal level, facilitating widescale voter fraud and ensuring indefinite single-party rule of the type that has so many people leaving Chicago and California.

The propaganda wing of the Democratic Party — i.e., the liberal establishment media — quacks dishonestly about voter suppression. As Ted Cruz accurately observes in the video below, it is the Democrats who are trying to suppress the votes of law-abiding citizens by diluting them with illegitimate votes.

Cruz notes that when Republicans held the White House and both houses of Congress, they made no attempt to rig the system to remain in power. But today’s radicalized Democrats have the advantage of being the bad guys. Virtually none of them objects to destroying our system of government so that they can remain in power indefinitely. They feel confident that those who vote for them won’t object either.

This bill and those who support it represent a greater threat to American liberty than any foreign enemy ever has. Single-party rule would quickly degenerate into a dictatorial oligarchy.

It is unconstitutional to snatch control of elections from the states, but that’s no problem. Democrats have already made it clear that they will pack the Supreme Court as necessary (see here, here, here, here, and here). At that point, the USA will no longer be a constitutional republic in any meaningful sense.

Once they got their hands on the levers of power, the radicalized Democratic Party pulled all of them all the way to the left, in open defiance of the American people, few of whom would ever have voted for Biden if they hadn’t been duped by his media enablers into thinking he is a harmless moderate. After only a few months, we already see the effects, as severe inflation gets a foothold and the post-Covid economic recovery stalls. Yet the Democrats double down, arrogantly leaving the border open to invasion, flagrantly wasting astounding sums of money, paying people not to work, making energy unreliable and unaffordable, demonizing the police, brainwashing children with critical race theory poison. It’s as if they think they will never have to face voters again.

That’s exactly what they do think.

The ultimate Democrat power grab — essentially a coup d’état — passed the House as HR1. Now the Orwellian “For the People Act” is before the Senate. Ted Cruz weighs in on it:

This legislation would register millions of illegal aliens to vote. It is intended to do that. It is intended to do that because Democrats have made the decision that millions of illegal aliens voting are likely to vote for Democrats. This would register vast numbers of criminals and felons to vote because Democrats have made the decisions that criminals and felons are likely to vote for Democrats.

This legislation strikes down virtually every voter integrity law adopted at the state level, voter ID laws. Over 70% of Americans support voter ID laws. By the way, over 60% of African Americans in this country support voter ID laws. Twenty-nine states have voter ID laws on the books. What does this legislation do? Strikes them all down. Says it’s illegal for any state to have a voter ID law.

Ballot harvesting—31 states prohibit ballot harvesting. Why? Because it is a corrupt practice where paid operatives handle the ballots of someone else. And it has repeatedly led to instances of stealing votes. What does this bill do? It strikes down all 31 states’ restrictions on ballot harvesting.

This bill turns the Federal Election Commission from a bipartisan agency into a partisan agency, into a partisan agency controlled by Democrats. Why? Because Democrats want Chuck Schumer in charge of the Federal Election Commission. The effect of that, I will point out, will be that every Republican senator and every Republican House member will be investigated, will be fined, will be prosecuted by the Federal Election Commission.

Democrats wouldn’t like it if Republicans were to take over and be in charge of the politicized FEC, even if the GOP would be far less likely to abuse it. But they are confident that this will never happen. If this bill becomes law, the next legitimate US election will take place only after it has been forcibly repealed.

It is often remarked that you can tell what Democrats are up to by listening to what they accuse their opponents of doing. They claim without merit that those who insist on election integrity are suppressing votes. They are the ones suppressing votes, employing the same tactic they use to destroy the value of our savings. Just as they dilute our bank accounts toward worthlessness by printing vast amounts of money, they dilute our votes with invalid ones.

They accuse those who object to voter fraud of being insurrectionists. They are the ones overthrowing our system of government.

The For the People Act will never make it through a legitimate Supreme Court, because it takes control of elections away from the states. So that they could gauge the level of resistance they will encounter, Democrats have let us know in advance that they plan to pack the Supreme Court (see here, here, here, here, and here). When a packed court consisting of leftist apparatchiks gives the thumbs up to the For the People Act, ensuring single party rule, the insurrection will be complete.

USA Today Retroactively Edits Op-ed to Help Stacey Abrams

Winston Smith is alive and well and working at USA Today, revising previously published pieces so that they serve the current interests of the ruling party:

USA Today appeared to have bizarrely allowed retroactive edits of an op-ed written by prominent Georgia Democrat Stacey Abrams in an effort to water down her previous justification for boycotts after MLB moved its All-Star Game from Atlanta.

An outfit associated with Abrams was directly involved in bullying the MLB into moving the game as part of a campaign to lay the groundwork for HR1, which will establish systemic voter fraud on a national basis, obviating the need for Democrats to worry about voters.

“The impassioned response to the racist, classist bill that is now the law of Georgia is to boycott in order to achieve change,” Abrams originally wrote. “Events hosted by major league baseball, world class soccer, college sports and dozens of Hollywood films hang in the balance. At the same time, activists urge Georgians to swear off of hometown products to express our outrage. Until we hear clear, unequivocal statements that show Georgia-based companies get what’s at stake, I can’t argue with an individual’s choice to opt for their competition.”

Georgians were infuriated by the cost of her hardball politics in terms of lost revenue. Until HR1 is the law, Democrats still need to take the public’s feelings into account. So the editorial was retroactively revised.

“The impassioned (and understandable) response to the racist, classist bill that is now the law of Georgia is to boycott in order to achieve change. Events that can bring millions of dollars to struggling families hang in the balance. Major League Baseball pulled both its All-Star Game and its draft from Georgia, which could cost our state nearly $100 million in lost revenue,” Abrams’ revisions read. “Rather than accept responsibility for their craven actions, Republican leaders blame me and others who have championed voting rights (and actually read the bill). Their faux outrage is designed to hide the fact that they prioritized making it harder for people of color to vote over the economic well-being of all Georgians. To add to the injury, the failed former president is now calling for cancellation of baseball as the national pastime.”

The new national pastime is race-baiting. Power-hungry Democrats like Abrams are so good at it, they can convince the gullible that even preventing election fraud is racist. A second new national pastime is revising the past to benefit the Democratic Party.

Her revised op-ed adds, “Instead of a boycott, I strongly urge other events and productions to do business in Georgia and speak out against our law and similar proposals in other states.”

Media outlets and Twitter then used the revised version to “fact check” Republicans who noted her culpability for damaging boycotts of her own state.

After USA Today was called on its Orwellian attempt to control the future by changing the past, it altered the op-ed again by adding a note admitting that it had been revised.

When leftists have finished consolidating control of the Internet, once the past has been altered, no one will be in a position to call attention to it. The web of lies comprising the liberal narrative will serve as “reality.”

Abrams once burned the Georgia flag on the steps of the state capitol. But in the near future, that event will never have occurred — unless it having occurred benefits the Party.

Race Thugs Bully Home Depot in Democrat Power Grab

The reason Democrats vehemently oppose a Georgia voting law that is no more restrictive than laws in many blue states is that they are setting the stage to ram through HR1, which would allow them to institutionalize voter fraud at the federal level, potentially guaranteeing them total power for the foreseeable future. The reason so many corporations noisily back them is that if Democrats achieve single-party tyranny, those who helped will be rewarded. Those who stood in the way will be punished — as will those who just tried to stay out of it. Already, an example is being made of Home Depot:

After weeks of talks with top executives of some of the state’s largest companies, a coalition of influential Georgia faith leaders called for a boycott of Home Depot on Tuesday, the first promised action by the group which has vowed to punish companies they claim have not strongly and publicly opposed the state’s new election law.

These are “faith leaders” of the Al Sharpton/Jesse Jackson variety. A less charitable description would be “race thugs.” If the race thugs who loot and destroy under the banner of Black Lives Matter are corporals, these are lieutenants. Both serve as the Democrat Party’s enforcers.

The thugs have announced a nationwide boycott of Home Depot.

Bishop Reginald T. Jackson, who heads the Sixth Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church and has led the faith leaders’ opposition to the law, was not at the press conference but released a statement accusing Home Depot of remaining “silent and indifferent” to the plight of Black voters.

As automatons shriek on college campuses, silence is violence. Progressives have progressed from not tolerating resistance to not tolerating neutrality. Sing from their hymnal or face the consequences.

The Rev. Timothy McDonald III, senior pastor of First Iconium Baptist Church and founder of the African American Ministers Leadership Council, said the boycott was in “Phase 1″ and warned things could escalate.

McDonald says Phase 2 is deploying a mob to block entrances and occupy stores so that they cannot do business.

What do you suppose Phase 3 might be? Looting? Arson? The idea is to get the people running Home Depot wondering.

As the Derek Chauvin verdict confirmed, we are ruled by the mob now. Stand up to it and you are likely to get hurt. But at least you can regard yourself as an American, rather than something that crawls on its belly like the mollusks running Major League Baseball, Coca-Cola, Delta, et cetera.

Initially, faith leaders and voting rights advocates singled out several companies they criticized for saying nothing or offering bland statements about election restrictions. Delta Air Lines and Coca-Cola eventually used more forceful language, calling the law “unacceptable.”

Bullying works in a country where character and rule of law are both succumbing to liberal decay.

In addition to speaking out collectively against Georgia’s law, the faith leaders are demanding that the companies back litigation seeking to block the law, oppose similar legislation in other states, and support federal legislation they say would provide uniformity in voting laws across the country.

That last part is the endgame: HR1. Once that has been passed, and the Supreme Court has been packed to prevent it from being ruled unconstitutional, Democrats won’t have to worry about what voters think of them.

Voter ID as Racist Debunked in 1 Minute

As Democrats prepare to institutionalize voter fraud with HR1, potentially establishing indefinite single-party rule, the liberal establishment shrieks that requiring ID to vote is “racist.” Obvious reasons that this is a crock include:

1. If requiring ID for voting were racist, requiring ID for everything else would be racist too.

2. The claim that requiring ID is racist is itself racist.

3. Georgia is hardly the only state that requires ID to vote.

MLB Bows to Lebron James, Stacey Abrams, Al Sharpton

It wasn’t just the Biden Regime. Others helped pressure Major League Baseball to move the All-Star Game on behalf of election fraud (or to use the disingenuous Democrat euphemism, “voting rights”):

Major League Baseball (MLB) commissioner Robert Manfred decided to move the All-Star Game on his own after holding extensive discussions with voting rights groups associated with Lebron James, Stacey Abrams and Rev. Al Sharpton, sources familiar with the move tell Fox News.

Look who has a seat at the table. The best and brightest. Idiots, demagogues, professional racists, ChiCom apologists, hate hoaxers.

The little people who shell out several days’ pay to take their family to a ballgame do not have a seat at the table. They don’t deserve one, because they are racist oppressors.

After these conversations, Manfred believed the All Star game would be turned into a political event and players would boycott the game, these people say.

So to prevent this, Manfred publicly reduced MLB to an organ of the Democrat Party, ensuring that patriotic Americans who want honest elections will boycott not just the All-Star game, but every game.

Characteristically shameless and dishonest, Abrams now says she is against boycotting Georgia, due to blowback from voters.

This isn’t about the Georgia law, which is no more restrictive than the laws in many blue states. It is about laying the groundwork to ram through HR1, which would establish single party Democrat rule by institutionalizing election fraud nationwide. Here’s confirmation:

People close to Manfred believe Abrams’ group and Sharpton also wanted the league to support other issues, including voter drives and H.R. 1, the For the People Act — sweeping election reform that recently passed the House.

Until recently, the main appeal of baseball was its status as America’s pastime. Just watching it was vaguely patriotic.

Then last year they presented Black Lives Matter worship services prior to games, at a time when American cities were burning. Jumbotrons filled with the faces of pampered, grotesquely overpaid players who whimpered that the USA oppresses them with its systemic racism. Instead of standing for Old Glory, the players knelt along the foul lines in obeisance to the black supremacist terrorists who had been tearing down statues of George Washington and setting fire to police stations.

Incredibly, the moonbattery got worse from there. Now MLB is actively attacking the American system of government by undermining the integrity of our elections. Baseball has gone from patriotic to treasonous.

“They wanted us to do more than just a pre-game ceremony…Baseball would have to be in the market for doing stuff involving voting rights,” a senior MLB executive with direct knowledge of the matter tells Fox News.

No matter how much you give in to radical leftists, it is never enough.

MLB Hypocrisy Barrage

MLB punishing Georgia for a new law inhibiting the election fraud that the Democrat Party is banking on is, as Joe Biden might put it, hypocrisy on steroids.

MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred says the All-Star Game was pulled from Georgia (at Biden’s explicit request) because MLB “fundamentally supports voting rights for all Americans and opposes restrictions to the ballot box.” Election security equals voter suppression, according to the leftist talking point.

Meanwhile, MLB just renewed a licensing contract with the ChiCom conglomerate Tencent, which does not air Houston Rockets or Philadelphia 76ers games because Daryl Morey expressed support for democracy in Hong Kong. Morey was GM for the Rockets and is now with the 76ers.

We already knew that Manfred doesn’t give a flying damn about democracy. Otherwise, he would be in favor of election integrity in Georgia.

More MLB hypocrisy:

According to Biden and toadies like Manfred, asking for ID is racist. That’s why Georgia must be punished. MLB did not respond to multiple requests from Fox News to explain its policy, which qualifies as “Jim Crow on steroids” by Biden’s criteria.

In case that isn’t enough hypocrisy to cure readers of watching hyperpoliticized professional baseball, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp notes that MLB is headquartered in New York:

“When you look at New York’s voting laws, you have to have an excuse to vote absentee by-mail in New York. You do not in Georgia,” Kemp said. …

Kemp said Georgia has 17 days of in-person early voting, while New York has 10.

“I guess we should be boycotting [MLB] for having their headquarters in New York because that law is more strict than ours,” he said. “I mean, this is all ridiculous.”

Not only is the Georgia boycott ridiculous, it is based on brazen lies.

The Georgia safeguards are less restrictive than those in Biden’s home state Delaware. But this isn’t about Georgia. It is about making sure everyone knows that no opposition to HR1 will be tolerated. If it passes, Democrats need never worry about the wrath of voters again. That’s why they have been pushing their radical agenda to the furthest extreme and shamelessly looting the treasury with blowout spending bills, as if the final election had already taken place.

Both parties have an interest in laws like Georgia’s. For either party to govern effectively, the public needs to believe it was elected legitimately.

However, the radicalized Democrats are no longer interested in governing. They want to rule. They don’t care if we regard elections as legitimate, so long as we know that if we resist we will be punished.

A local propaganda organ of the Democrat Party thinks Detroit should get the All-Star Game:

Detroit Is Diverse, Inclusive and Ready to Welcome MLB All-Stars

Given that Detroit is overwhelmingly Democrat, Manfred might agree. Plus, it has the sort of “diversity” championed by Democrats — i.e., in addition to being ideologically virtually homogeneous, it is even more overwhelmingly devoid of Caucasians.
