Francis is gone, yet it looks like Catholics still have a socialist pope. Leo does not like it that Elon Musk gets to keep so much of the wealth he created:

Pope Leo XIV is no fan of the Tesla board’s plan to possibly make CEO Elon Musk the world’s first trillionaire.

Leo, who recently became the first ever American-born pontiff, told the Catholic news site Crux that Musk’s proposed pay package was emblematic of the loss of “the value of human life, of the family, of the value of society.”

His rhetoric is straight out of The Communist Manifesto:

Leo argued that Musk’s pay was just one illustration of “the continuously wider gap between the income levels of the working class and the money that the wealthiest receive.”

People should be paid the same, regardless of what rare talents they display, how hard they work, what innovations the create, what risks they take, how many people they provide with jobs, et cetera. Then we could be like the USSR.

Leo should focus on keeping his own rather opulent house in order rather than scolding America for its economic freedom. He has not been doing such a hot job.

All adult Americans who are not felons or mentally ill are encouraged to exercise their Second Amendment rights. However, explicitly encouraging LGBTers to arm up because people are out to get them is irresponsible — especially considering the well-established correlation between transgenderism and violence.

The infestation of public schools by leftists does not stop at the northern border. From Toronto:

[A] Corvette Junior Public School teacher was not in class Friday while the [Toronto District School Board] investigates the complaint from parents that a class of 10 and 11 year olds was shown a graphic video of the [Charlie Kirk] slaying.

In case watching someone murdered didn’t get the point across the first time, kids were subjected to the video multiple times.

“Several students from his class went home and complained to their parents, traumatized at witnessing the on-camera death, which they were forced to witness numerous times over,” a source close to the situation alleged. “Parents subsequently reached out to school administrators, who will be putting him on leave at the start of the school day September 12th 2025.”

The teacher and Tyler Robinson share an ideology:

“While playing this video repeatedly, he gave a speech to his students regarding anti-fascism, anti-trans, and how Charlie Kirk deserved for this to occur,” the source claimed.

When the escalating epidemic of leftist violence resulted in the assassination of Charlie Kirk last week, liberals reacted either with glee or by pretending that the killer is a conservative. If anything could be as disgusting to behold, it would be Senator James Lankford (RINO-OK) coming on the Democrat propaganda platform CNN to obediently cough up a steaming puddle of “both sides do it.”

The main problems according to Lankford appear to be the quasimythical white nationalists who haunt the imaginations of MSM spinmeisters and Timothy McVeigh from 30 years ago:
