Even moonbats have a use for the military. In fundamentally transformed South Africa, it serves as a jobs program.

Daily Friend reports on the fate of the South African National Defence Force (SANDF):

Today, under the African National Congress government (ANC), the SANDF is increasingly being reframed not as a warfighting institution, but as a socio-economic intervention mechanism. President Cyril Ramaphosa’s recent remarks that the Department of Defence is “a partner in government efforts to curb unemployment” amount to far more than a harmless political soundbite. They represent a quiet but unmistakable admission that the South African military has drifted so far from combat readiness that the state is now searching for alternative justifications for its existence.

Because it serves primarily to produce make-work,

Salaries consume the overwhelming majority of the defence budget, leaving insufficient funding for training, maintenance, procurement, ammunition stockpiles, flying hours, naval deployments, or force modernisation.

Possibly worse,

The military ceases to think like a fighting force and starts behaving like a state employment programme wearing camouflage.

Fortunately, South Africa is not currently menaced by external enemies. Not so fortunately, its worst enemies are internal — and have prevailed.

During the brief reign of Joe Biden’s handlers, a defining purpose of the US military was to promote homosexuality (see here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, etc.). If Democrats regain control, the liberal agenda will again be prioritized, with effects similar to those inflicted on the SANDF. America will be trapped between enemies both without and within.

Democrat DAs Announce Plans to Arrest Law Enforcement for Preventing Illegal Aliens From Voting

In their arrogance, Democrats no longer hide the ball. They intend to seize power by cheating. How else could you interpret Democrat plans to arrest ICE agents for enforcing immigration law at polling places?

The National Pulse reports:

Democratic district attorneys (DAs) from multiple major cities have announced plans to prosecute federal immigration agents who engage in so-called voter intimidation at polling sites during the November midterms, in response to President Donald J. Trump suggesting the deployment of federal forces to ensure election integrity.

Like a bad penny, Soros-appointed Philadelphia DA Larry Krasner turns up once again, barking,

“A federal badge is not a license to violate the Constitution, and it is not a shield from state criminal law. We will prosecute ICE agents who break the law.”

By “violate the Constitution,” he means, prevent illegal aliens from illegally voting. Needless to say, virtually all illegal aliens will vote for the party that let them in and that promises to bestow upon them ever more free money expropriated from Americans.

Research suggests that non-citizens do vote in sufficient numbers to change election results, and that they tend to favor the Democrats. Notably, Democrat politicians have consistently opposed election integrity legislation such as the SAVE Act, requiring voter ID, despite a majority of voters across all ethnicities and party affiliations supporting it.

Confrontations between state and federal authorities would appear inevitable. This is another step toward civil war, which Democrats appear to believe they will win.

Horrified parents and young children fled the Ontario Beach Park in Rochester on Sunday as a mob teeming with hundreds of unruly youths flooded the parking lot, WHAM reported.

The brawlers milled around the parking lot and appeared to throw punches at random as several full-on fights broke out. …

Hours earlier, several brawling teenagers were ejected from the city’s annual Lilac Festival at Highland Park — just 18 miles away from Ontario Beach, WHEC reported.

The mob returned to Ontario Beach Park on Monday and started clashing again. Both throngs appeared to begin the night at the park’s gazebo before inevitably spilling over into the parking lot, according to footage obtained by WHAM.

Imagine trips to the beach if Democrats try again and this time succeed in defunding local police out of existence in the name of thugs like George Floyd.

Hakeem Jeffries Promises to Break the Spirit of Americans

While speaking at a progressive conference on Tuesday, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., called for Democrats to not only defeat “MAGA extremists” electorally but also “break their spirit.”

By “MAGA extremists,” he means the majority of voting Americans, who elected Donald Trump.

During the panel, Jeffries assured, “As a guarantee, we are taking back control of the United States House of Representatives in November.”

If they do, this thug will be next in line to the presidency after JD Vance. In light of the Democrat proclivity to political violence, that means we would be two bullets away from President Hakeem Jeffries.

He wouldn’t break our spirits, but he would certainly try.

It would be hard to overstate the sheer vileness of the upcoming crop of Democrats. Consider their candidate for US Senator from Maine, Graham Platner.

In response to a video of an American soldier being shot four times by the Taliban, Platner posted the following on Reddit in 2019 — via Magdi Jacobs of the Editorial Board

“This video never gets old. Dumb motherf***er didn’t deserve to live. At least his stupidity and fat ass wheezing are available for all future infantrymen to witness and hold in contempt. Poor marksmanship on the Taliban’s part is the only reason this mouthbreather made it home, he managed to make every possible sh** decision possible when it comes to small unit combat.”

The context:

The man that Platner is commenting on, by the way, is Pfc. Ted Daniels, who was a 37-year-old father of two serving in Afghanistan at the time of the incident (2012). The bad tactic Platner enjoys mocking? Daniels stepped into the open deliberately to draw Taliban fire away from his fellow soldiers so his squad could get to safety.

Imagine how much you would have to hate this country to put people like Platner in charge of it.

The collection spans more than a decade — from when Platner was ages 24 to 37 — and provides a rare glimpse into the thinking of a candidate at a time when he betrayed no political ambitions and could not have known how future voters might have viewed his online commentary.

Platner stated outright at age 37:

“I got older and became a communist.”

He offered the following advice to women to prevent being raped:

“Holy f***, how about people just take some responsibility for themselves and not get so f***ed up they wind up having sex with someone they don’t mean to? Men and women, you make a choice to consume enough of a substance to lose your self control. So if you don’t want to be in a comprising situation, act like an adult for f***s sake.”

This from the guy who blames being drunk for getting a Nazi tattoo.

Considering the tattoo, no one will be surprised that Platner has referred to Israel’s self-defense against Hamas as “genocide” — a favorite talking point of the hard left and horseshoe right.

Moonbats are not shy about expressing their hatred of American heritage and their eagerness to erase it. The war on statues waged during the liberal establishment-endorsed Black Lives Matter riots continues in ultra-diverse Baltimore.

The New York Post reports:

Italian-American community leaders in Baltimore are livid after vandals plunked a toilet down on the site of a Christopher Columbus statue that was hurled into the Inner Harbor by protesters in 2020.

Though his staunchest defenders are those who share his Italian background, Columbus has been revered for centuries by everyone who appreciates the benefits of this heroic adventurer spreading civilization to the previously savage Western Hemisphere, making America possible.

Officials were tipped off about the “inappropriate” display last week, when passersby reported that the pedestal that once held the discoverer’s likeness was now topped by a white porcelain toilet, the Little Italy Neighborhood Association of Baltimore said on Facebook.

This is appropriate, considering that down the toilet is where leftists will flush American history and civilization along with it.

Wilson, a self-proclaimed socialist, recently went viral for laughing off the exodus of billionaires and business leaders from her city, saying, “I think the claims that millionaires are going to leave our state are super overblown,” and adding, “the ones that leave? Like, bye.”

Now, less than five months into Wilson’s term, Seattle Democratic Councilmember Rob Saka admitted to the New York Times, “I am gravely concerned,” telling the outlet, “This is real.”

Just recently, Saka was a fan, barking leftist talking points about “affordability, community, and fighting back against a resurgent Trump agenda” in support of Katie Wilson.

Even Starbucks is bailing out, expanding in Nashville while reducing its corporate presence in its original home. Former CEO Howard Schulz has already escaped to Florida, coinciding with the state’s new millionaires tax.

Seattle has sucked Washington into the vortex known as the Democrat Death Spiral, by which productive citizens escape leftist rule, leaving an ever-more left-wing constituency that elects ever more greedy and demented moonbats, securing permanent Democrat rule and irreversible decline.

Information has come to light that may help authorities discover the motive of Salim el Koudri, who multiculturally enriched a crowd in Modena, Italy by driving his car into it at full speed, costing a woman her legs.

El Koudri knows how to win the affection of the liberal establishment:

El Koudri is a Moroccan who was born in Italy and holds Italian citizenship. Despite the usual prevaricating on behalf of Islam by the media and local officials and meaningless duckspeak from Giorgia Meloni,

Transport Minister Matteo Salvini said what needed to be said, warning that ‘second generation’ Islamic colonists like El Koudri were even worse than the first generation.

As Salvini observes,

“Certain people are absolutely unintegrable; there’s no point in anyone denying the dramatic evidence for ideological reasons.”

Gratitude is as likely as assimilation:

Italy gave him a degree in economics. Gave his Moroccan Muslim immigrant parents free housing. Gave them free health care. And in return, El-Koudri couldn’t be bothered to hold down a job, hated Italy and carried out an Islamic terrorist attack.

The problem the West has created for itself by allowing Islamic infiltration will continue to unfold for generations. Anyone who remembers Lebanon in the 1980s knows what Europe will look like as the cancer metastasizes.
