Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) still has a Palestinian flag hanging outside of her House office after the invasion of Israel by Hamas, during which hundreds of Israelis and some Americans were killed.

She displays the Palestinian flag in a position of predominance over the flags of Detroit and Michigan with no American flag in sight, making no secret of her loyalties. Still less is she loyal to American allies:

The Michigan Democrat, along with other members of the liberal “Squad,” boycotted the Israeli president’s joint address to Congress earlier this year.

Tlaib responded to last weekend’s terror atrocities as you might expect — by reciting liberal talking points:

“The path to that future must include lifting the blockade, ending the occupation, and dismantling the apartheid system that creates the suffocating, dehumanizing conditions that can lead to resistance,” Tlaib [barked]. “The failure to recognize the violent reality of living under siege, occupation, and apartheid makes no one safer. No person, no child anywhere, should have to suffer or live in fear of violence.”

The reason moonbats accuse Israel of “apartheid” is they want to do the same thing to it that they did to South Africa, and for the same reason. Both were beleaguered outposts of civilization surrounded by a sea of savagery. South Africa has fallen and is becoming another Zimbabwe. If Democrats have their way, Israel will fall and become one big Gaza. From the river to the sea!

Unsurprisingly, Tlaib and her fellow Squad members think Israelis should accept their hundreds of dead as due recompense for being colonialists and refrain from retaliation.

This is equivalent to displaying a swastika right after we learned what was going on in Auschwitz:

You may not have to be a California resident to qualify as California Senator, but as Gavin Newsom announced in advance, you do have to be a black woman. This rules out 94% of the population. From there, he narrowed the field further to a black woman who is publicly homosexual and of course radically left-wing. Out of this pool, he chose the one most conspicuously devoted to evil, pro-abortion militant Laphonza Butler.

Butler is president of ultraleft EMILY’s List, a PAC that exists to promote the killing of unborn children. It is now helping her pretend she doesn’t live on the opposite side of the country:

“FEC filings from EMILY’s List record Laphonza Butler’s residence as Silver Springs, Maryland as recently as 31 days ago,” said FEC analyst Rob Pyers. “FPPC and FEC filings indicate that soon-to-be California Senator Laphonza Butler hasn’t been a resident of the state for over two years.”

Pyers noted that EMILY’s List was already cleaning up their website to hide where Butler allegedly lives. The organization removed the following line from their website: “She lives in Maryland with her partner Neneki Lee and their daughter Nylah.”

Surely Pyers would not be such a racist sexist homophobe as to suggest that residency requirements pertain to a Left-Wing Lesbian of Color.

If you like her fellow explicit identity politics selections Kamala Harris and Ketanji Brown Jackson, you will love Laphonza Butler. She personifies both race/sex favoritism and the war on morality, making her the ideal Democrat.

Also, she was a union leader for the infamously pernicious SEIU.

As for political experience, Newsom describes Laphonza as “a trusted adviser to Vice President Harris.” Experience conducting trainwrecks will be helpful if Democrats continue to consolidate power.

Look out, Michelle Obama; you could have competition after Democrats dump Biden next year.

The wild incident in the Cannon Building was caught on camera and confirmed by several witnesses.

He can’t deny it, so he presents this defense:

[Bowman] insisted to reporters afterward that he pulled the alarm handle because he thought it would open the door.

Pleading extreme stupidity does have a ring of truth, but if Bowman is cognitively dysfunctional to the point of what we once called severe mental retardation, he needs to be removed from office for the good of the country — as with Joe Biden and John Fetterman.

Lied Bowman,

“I want to be very clear, this was not me, in any way, trying to delay the vote. It was the exact opposite — I was trying urgently to get to a vote, which I ultimately did.”

The move came as Democrats were desperately employing tactics to delay the vote, including Democratic Leader Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (Brooklyn/Queens) using his privilege to make a speech and forcing a vote on a motion to adjourn.

If the tactic is good enough for campus totalitarians who want to prevent conservative speakers from being heard, it is good enough for congressional Democrats. The leftist motto “by any means necessary” has been updated to “by any means immediately expedient.”

Creating a false fire alarm is punishable by up to 6 months in jail in the District of Corruption. Illegally obstructing congressional proceedings is a felony. Bowman could also be charged with obstruction of justice, a charge that was applied after January 6.

But there’s no need to worry about Bowman rotting away in solitary in one of DC’s Third World jails like some January 6 protester. If laws applied to powerful Democrats, Biden would be in Leavenworth.

The charges are conspicuously lame and constitute criminalization of political opposition.

Democrats are well known for projecting their sins onto their opponents. Denouncing them as “threats to democracy” is a case in point. Their control of the powerful media makes the threat they pose truly alarming.

Democrats have gone out of their way to pander to transsexuals, placing them at the pinnacle of the victimhood hierarchy. But too much is never enough regarding pampering privileged identity groups. Newsweek reports that most transsexuals do not consider themselves Democrats:

While four out of 10 would say they are Democrats, a higher percentage identified as independent or something else.

According to the [KFF/Washington Post Trans Survey], 28 percent said they were independent, while another 20 percent said they identified as something else. Unsurprisingly, only 10 percent identified with the Republican party compared to roughly 45 percent of the national population.

If Asa Hutchinson and Crispy Creme Christie can call themselves Republicans, so can 10% of transsexuals.

No doubt the vast majority of cross-dressers vote for Democrats if only to poke regular Americans in the eye. But there could be an opening for a third party candidate, considering that virtually nobody likes Joe Biden — assuming Democrats wait too long to pull their switcheroo and replace him with Michelle Obama or Gavin Newsom.

[A]s the study reflects, transgender people are more likely to face economic instability and mental health issues, which some feel the Democratic party is not adequately addressing.

They do have unmet needs regarding mental health.

“[Democrats] want me to say something like ‘let trans people be’ and that’s not enough,” Xemiyulu Manibusan Tapepechul, a transgender writer and advocate, told New Republic. “We need trans people to be housed. We need trans people to have food, to have jobs, to be able to find love, to have families, and be safe.”

In Liberalese, to “be safe” is to be protected from resistance and criticism through the suppression of free speech. Helping transsexuals to “have families” after they have destroyed their reproductive abilities through grotesque sex change procedures is a challenge to be met through more science gone wrong.

On the flip side, many formerly left-leaning individuals are finding themselves at odds with some of the more controversial transgender policies, namely allowing children to be treated with puberty blockers if they identify with the opposite gender.

Democrat policy regarding the transsexualization of children is so indisputably evil that it is driving the last decent people out of the party. Unfortunately, there may still be enough left to win elections.

John Fetterman (D-Penn.) teared up while recounting his experiences after a stroke last year impacted his ability to process language. While speaking before the committee, Fetterman held up his phone and showed the transcription app he uses, explaining that it “allows me to fully participate in this meeting and conversations with my children and interacting with my staff.”

The mental patient Fetterman is so cognitively disabled that he cannot hold a conversation without technological assistance.

You could feel sorry for the guy if he wasn’t asking you to feel sorry for him — and if he didn’t impose himself on us as a senator despite his conspicuous unfitness for the position.

The liberal media spin:

Republicans and some members of the media spent much of last year framing Fetterman’s struggles after his stroke as a reason he shouldn’t become a senator. But if anything, his impassioned and personal reflections at the hearing this week show the importance of ensuring voices and experiences like his are represented in Congress.

John Fetterman is defective; therefore, he is holy according to the liberal religion.

The guy cannot even dress himself. He cannot watch television without his language-processing app. Anyone who can accomplish these tasks is more fit to be a senator that Fetterman — or as he sometimes calls himself, Fetterwoman.

If you don’t like being ruled over by a mentally defective moonbat, prepare to be crybullied for your insensitivity.

Sen. Schumer’s statement was specifically about a step just taken by the Health and Human Services Department, at Mr. Biden’s request, toward all but eliminating federal penalties for marijuana possession.

At the same time,

Columbia University health researchers released a study that found significantly elevated levels of lead and cadmium in the urine of marijuana users. …

But the chance any such science-based evidence will alter the Biden-Schumer goal of normalizing marijuana use is zero. That’s what is troubling about recent Democratic social-policy decisions: The downside consequences seem irrelevant to them.

These downside consequences go beyond the effects of the toxic metals absorbed by the plant:

Researchers from the Aarhus University Hospital in Denmark recently delved into the records of more than 6.6 million people in Denmark born between 1985 and 2021 and found of those with cannabis use disorder – defined as being unable to stop using in spite of it causing damage to their health and social lives – about 41 percent of those individuals were diagnosed with major depression.

They also found chronic marijuana use quadrupled a person’s risk of being diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

High-potency marijuana vapes have been associated with suicide.

Additionally, chronic cannabis use has been known to trigger the onset of schizophrenia and psychotic breaks.

A study published in the May issue of the journal Psychological Medicine found cannabis use disorder was linked to about 30 percent of schizophrenia diagnoses in young Danish men in the year 2021.

Cannabis has medicinal uses, but its recreational use is associated with sleep disorders, pregnancy complications, cardiovascular disease, and birth defects:

An extensive study conducted in Canada found pregnant women who smoke cannabis have a 70 percent higher risk of having a baby with a major birth defect and a 15 percent increased risk of a stillbirth.

Whatever you may have heard, pot is addictive:

New research from University of Washington and Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute estimates 21 percent of marijuana users had become addicted.

Marijuana smokers are more likely than cigarette smokers to develop lung disease. Yet the same Democrats who have been demonizing cigarettes for decades and taxing them into oblivion support recreational marijuana. Why would that be?

Cigarettes, for all their dangers, sharpen the mind. Marijuana makes you passive and stupid, just the way the Party of Big Government wants you. Biden et al. have no problem aborting viable babies and sexually mutilating children; why would they care about a few toxic metals and birth defects?

Democrats howl in rage when their agenda is impeded by what they call “extremists.” We are left with no doubt that extremists constitute a dire threat to Our Democracy and must be neutralized by whatever means prove effective. What exactly is an extremist?

The most obvious example is those who protested against election fraud on January 6, 2021, some of whom behaved foolishly and unlawfully. That tiny handful of people soon found their way into solitary confinement. But there are more recent examples of extremism.

One is those who want Joe Biden investigated for the flagrant corruption that has characterized his political career:

The White House blasted Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s (R-Calif.) move Tuesday to direct House committees to open a formal impeachment inquiry into President Biden, calling it “extreme politics” of the worst kind.

Another is those who would honor their oath by upholding the US Constitution:

On Tuesday’s broadcast of “CNN Primetime,” Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) refused to say whether or not New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham (D) can use a public health emergency declaration to unilaterally change the state’s gun laws, but said “mayors and our governors have the hardest job in the world right now when it comes to gun violence” because “an extremist United States Supreme Court” has prevented them from enacting good policies like completely banning carrying guns.

In contrast, Michelle Lujan Grisham is not an extremist, despite having committed a federal crime that it is important she be prosecuted for by depriving her constituents of their constitutional rights — or at least, she is no more an extremist than her Democrat colleagues, who will impose the same tyranny on a federal basis the moment they think they can pull it off without too much Lexington & Concord-style bloodshed.
