Anarchotyranny means that even as Democrats tighten the ligature on fundamental liberties like freedom of religion and the right of self-defense, they further erode law and order at the local level. A bill filed in Texas last week would forbid law enforcement from using nonlethal or as they call it nowadays “less-lethal” ammunition, which is designed to incapacitate but not kill, in case BLM/Antifa rioters or other criminals get hurt:

Rep. Erin Zwiener, a Hays County [Austin area] Democrat, filed the bill that would prohibit police from using less-lethal ammunition to control crowds. According to Zwiener’s bill, House Bill 974, less-lethal ammunition includes those commonly known as rubber bullets, wooden bullets, sponge rounds and bean bag rounds.

California’s Alameda County (Oakland area) has already agreed to stop using rubber bullets after hooligans were injured in the 2020 riots. Moonbattery-addled Washington State has passed a law banning them.

Those tasked with maintaining public order are not happy:

“How many times do we have to do this circle?” [Dallas Police Association president Mike] Mata said. “We started with the [lateral vascular neck restraint] and it was a great tool, but just like anything else, when it’s done improperly, it can injure. Then we went to the baton. Well, we can’t use the baton because it’s an aggressive impact weapon that can injure – obviously, you’re hitting someone with a steel stick. Then we went to the Taser. Well, they looked to stop doing the Taser because if you’re a person who’s going through some form of drug-induced or you’re in poor health there’s a chance you could have a heart attack. Then, we had to stop using the pepper spray for the same reasons.”

Stern admonitions will still be allowed, so long as officers don’t raise their voices or say anything offensive.

With the hundreds of Black Lives Matter/Antifa riots that occurred in 2020, Democrats exploited street violence as a political weapon, just as Nazis did with the Sturmabteilung. The next time the liberal establishment finds it advantageous to whip urban mobs into a frenzy over some alleged social injustice, the police will find their hands tied all the tighter.

What does it take to be put in jail and kept there under liberal rule? Commit a “hate crime” and find out. Running over 25 sheriff’s recruits with your SUV doesn’t count:

Nicholas Joseph Gutierrez had to be released because California law bars authorities from holding a suspect in custody for more than 48 hours without presenting the case to prosecutors, a spokesperson for the LA County Sheriff’s Department said.

There appears to be no question that they have the right guy and that it was deliberate. But Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva needs an air-tight case before he can present it to ultraliberal DA George Gascon, who has made it clear that he is there to protect criminals and oppose law enforcement. Gascon was installed in office by George Soros, the only person who has been giving more to Democrats than even Sam Bankman-Fried.

In another case involving an SUV, presumably tolerant liberal Shannon Brandt was released on absurdly low bail after allegedly murdering teenager Cayler Ellingson with his car for being a Republican. We must need common sense SUV control.

At least SUV killer Darrell Brooks, who deliberately drove through a Christmas parade, killing six and injuring more than 60, is behind bars. The black supremacist received life, after denying life to his victims. At the current rate of societal decay, the 40-year-old should live long enough at taxpayer expense to receive a full pardon.

The dumber the Democrat, the more brazen the hypocrisy. Cori Bush was elected to represent Black Lives Matter. Her signature issue is defunding the police, so that criminals can run riot. She also supports gun control, so that law-abiding citizens will have no defense from sociopaths. But this only applies to us little people, not our rulers, which is why Bush spent nearly half a $million of campaign money on security while trying to deny security to the rest of us.

Bush has now directed over $490,000 into private security for the 2022 election cycle as she remains one of the last Democrats to openly call for the defunding of the police.

Even CBS News had to ask her about blowing a fortune on security while hamstringing if not abolishing local police. Her response:

“They would rather I die?” Bush asked. “You would rather me die? Is that what you want to see? You want to see me die? You know, because that could be the alternative.”

That actually applies to many of her constituents, who are vulnerable to violent crime. But being dead won’t stop them from voting Democrat.

Bush said she would ensure that she has security, because she has had attempts on her life and has “too much work to do.”

“So suck it up, and defunding the police has to happen,” she added.

“Suck it up” sums up the attitude of Democrats toward the little people whose country they are methodically destroying.

People who noisily hate America now run America. Everything is proceeding from there as you would expect.

Under Democrat rule, federal law enforcement has become increasingly sinister. However, local police are still by and large the good guys, as evidenced by the hostility directed against them by leftists.

“Right now you have parents teaching people you don’t have to listen to police officers’ instructions if you are black.”

Not only parents. The entire liberal establishment drives home this message. If a white driver gets pulled over, that’s life. If a black driver gets pulled over, he is being oppressed for “driving while black” and has a duty to resist. It’s almost as if the people in charge want blacks to be shot by police to validate their cultural Marxist ideology.

“Say their names!” screech the moonbats. Why are they able to scream the names of every black person in a country of 330 million who dies during an arrest gone wrong? Because, as Owens explains, it doesn’t happen often.

Blacks are rarely killed by police officers. In contrast, police officers are killed by blacks 18.5 times as often. It just doesn’t get reported much less hyped by the media, because it does not support the bogus and corrosive liberal narrative.
