Effect of Black Lives Matter on Murder Rate

Even more obvious than the effect an “inflation refund” will have on inflation is the effect Black Lives Matter — which was aggressively promoted by the liberal establishment — would have on the murder rate:

According to the Major Cities Chiefs Association, a police group that tracks crime levels, murders rose 44% from 2019 to 2021 across 70 of America’s largest cities.

But then something happened – big city murders fell dramatically from their peak from over 9,600 in 2021 to 6,900 in 2024 – a 39% decline.

It’s called the Ferguson Effect. When liberals hamstring law enforcement in the name of Critical Race Theory, murderers run riot.

That more policing would cut crime is not only commonsense, it is borne out by numerous academic studies showing proactive policing reduces violent crime.

But it has disparate impact, so liberals don’t like it. Never mind that letting crime flourish also has a disparate impact regarding those victimized.

Post-George Floyd de-policing – when demoralized, debilitated, and depleted police forces step back from aggressive anti-crime activities fearing political, professional, or personal consequences for doing their jobs – exacerbated the growing violent and serious crime problem.

Emboldened criminals stepped into the vacuum and mayhem ensued.

The violence was a fit tribute to the patron saint of modern liberalism, career criminal George Floyd.

Could DEI Spring Luigi Mangione?

Looks like it really is springtime for Luigi Mangione. He may not have to rely on jury nullification to walk free. DEI could do the job:

According to his lawyers, Mangione’s backpack was illegally searched right after police found him at a McDonald’s in Pennsylvania. Now they’re demanding that everything inside be tossed from the case.

And if a judge agrees, the entire case could fall apart, and one of the most high-profile murder trials in recent memory could blow up over a mistake made by a female officer.

But sadly, this isn’t just about one bad call. It’s about a dangerous pattern driven by DEI hiring, where meeting diversity quotas is more important than choosing the best people for one of the hardest, most stressful jobs on the planet.

Where people are hired based on DEI rather than merit, competence will inevitably suffer.

Whereas DEI imposes mediocrity on the police, Mangione can afford top-notch lawyers. As with lavishly funded Black Lives Matter, liberals are opening their wallets to showcase their conception of virtue. At last word, Mangione’s defense fund was approaching $1 million. That kind of money should buy a lawyer who can place at least one Taylor Lorenz onto the jury — assuming the case even gets to trial.

Deputy Apparently Assassinated in War on Cops

Applied Critical Race Theory is producing the predictable effect in Ohio:

Police say Rodney Hinton, Jr. struck [a Hamilton County Sheriff’s ] deputy with his car on May 1 as the deputy was directing traffic for the University of Cincinnati commencement.

It killed him. The apparent motive:

A Cincinnati police officer shot and killed Hinton’s son, 18-year-old Ryan Hinton, the day before while investigating a stolen SUV. Ryan Hinton was running with a gun in his hand, according to police.

According to the officer involved, Hinton Jr. pointed the gun at him. According to the ideology relentlessly rammed down our throats by the media, if a black criminal is killed by the police, it is not law enforcement but racist murder that calls for revenge.

…shared posts about police brutality on social media, including a podcast criticizing the execution of Nate Woods, a Black man who was sentenced to death in Alabama despite never touching the murder weapon. As with O.J. Simpson and potentially Karmelo Anthony, with the right jury, Rodney Hinton will get off scot-free.

Brace yourselves, taxpayers. The Hinton family may file a lawsuit over the shooting. George Floyd earned his family a staggering $27 million of other people’s money by dying of a fentanyl overdose while resisting arrest. Getting a cop to shoot you should be worth even more.

No British Need Apply to Become British Cops

Under the control of moonbats like Two-Tier Keir Starmer, the British government is hostile to the British people. Police enforce the government’s will, so this should come as no surprise:

West Yorkshire Police (WYP) is currently preventing white British candidates from applying for jobs as recruits to its police constable entry programmes.

WYP is the fourth largest police force in the UK.

“Under-represented” groups, on the other hand, can lodge their applications early.

“Under-represented” translates to “people the ruling class prefers to the native population.”

WYP claims the policy is to ensure that “diverse communities” are represented by the officers serving them.

For once they are telling the truth. In case Britain’s survival instinct kicks in and the crap starts to hit the fan, authorities want to be sure the loyalty of police is to the “diverse communities” they have imported rather than to the British people.

[W]histleblowers said … ethnic minority candidates were being coached through the application process, including interviews.

Minority candidates who express interest in a job via email are assigned police officers from the force’s Positive Action Team (PAT) who mentor them through recruitment.

According to a document the Telegraph got hold of,

PAT officers also conduct the interviews … in a 16-month period, not a single ethnic minority applicant failed the recruitment process.

What qualification could they need other than non-British and preferably non-European status?

According to officers who had worked in the recruitment department,

[E]ntry-level vacancies for new constables and detectives were marked internally with an “H”, meaning “Hidden”, on the force’s computer system.

That meant the jobs were at that stage only open to ethnic minority candidates. They would become open to white British candidates at a much later stage in the process.

Sometimes recruiters get desperate when they can’t fill vacancies.

[A] whistleblower told The Telegraph he was told to begin processing ethnic minority candidates before the window for white British applicants had even been opened.

To quote a great Briton, “The smallest worm will turn being trodden on.” If a worm can turn, so can the British people.

Jews were warned to avoid this crucial transit hub due to masked and armed Islamic terror supporters.

Activists wearing keffiyehs entered the American landmark waving Palestinian flags and banging drums in response to a global strike called for by Palestinians over the ongoing war in Gaza, WOL leader Nerdeen Kiswani explained in a social media post.

With tedious predictability, the sinister pro-Hamas thugs claimed to be the victims, crybullying with improbable claims that projectiles were thrown at them from windows, the police were mean, et cetera.

As for the police actually maintaining law and order — as a New Yorker might say, forget about it:

New York lawmakers are considering a bill that would bar law enforcement officers from conducting traffic stops for minor violations.

Part of the effort behind the proposal is to further “racial equity and public safety,” Fox News reported on Monday.

As the situation unravels, there will be no public safety where liberals are in charge.

Police Let Antifa Thugs Terrorize TPUSA Staff

One reason violent leftists are so out of line is that they are confident there will be no consequences. At least in college towns in California, they are usually right:

Masked Antifa vandals violently attacked TPUSA staff at a tabling event at UC Davis on Thursday.

The far-left protestors completely destroyed TPUSA’s “Prove Me Wrong” tabling event with former police officer Brandon Tatum. They stole the tent, ripped down the TPUSA banners and tried to steal the TPUSA staffer’s iPad and electronics.

Rather than prove anyone wrong, the Antifa goons proved countermoonbats right by making a spectacle of the Left’s lack of any argument but force.

Male Cops Allowed to Strip Search Women in UK

Among the many privileges bestowed upon the “marginalized” is that male sexually deranged persons who work in the UK as police officers are still allowed to strip search women:

Proposed guidance for the National Police Chief’s Council (NPCC) says that biologically male staff who identify as women should be allowed to intimately search women as long as they possess a gender recognition certificate (GRC).

If a piece of paper issued by the leftist kooks overseeing the decline of Britain say a guy is a woman, then he is a woman, and therefore fit to strip search women.

Female detainees have rights, but these are superseded by the privileges afforded to transsexuals, who have been granted a position of greater “oppression” in the cultural Marxist caste system. Therefore, women had better not complain or their legal difficulties will deepen. According to the guidance,

“Consideration should also be given to the manner in which the detainee objects to the search and any prejudicial language should be dealt with positively.”

In a country ruled by moonbats like free speech opponent Keir Starmer, that sounds ominous.

Trans Plan to Kill White Cops in Corpus Christi

Not all violent moonbats of the transsexual persuasion content themselves with attacking Tesla dealerships. Seth Gregori (a.k.a. Andrea Gregori) planned to go after police:

A transgender Texas man has been arrested on terrorism charges for allegedly planning to carry out a mass casualty attack against police officers, according to the FBI. … FBI Houston said Gregori planned to carry out a massacre “similar to the 2016 Dallas ambush,” where a sniper opened fire on Dallas police, killing five officers and injuring others.

The motivation as with Dallas ambusher Micah Xavier Johnson appears to be a manifestation of the CRT religion pushed by Democrats, who were able to use it to great advantage to set off and maintain the politically advantageous George Floyd race riots.

According to an arrest affidavit, the FBI received a tip from an informant indicating that Gregori had an AR-15 platform pistol and intended to kill “white cops” with the Corpus Christi Police Department.

Killing whites is the only way to cure America’s alleged racism, if you follow liberal ideology to its natural conclusion.

He was booked into jail as a female named “Andrea,” records show.

For the senseless violence he intended to inflict in the name of a depraved and wicked ideology, Gregori has also been booked into the Transsexual Violence Hall of Horrors.
