When NBA players put an increased focus on [hard left radicalism] while playing at the Walt Disney World bubble, Cuban became one of their biggest supporters.

This was too much even for the NBA, which is infamous for pandering to Black Lives Matter and communist China, America’s worst internal and external enemies:

The NBA has announced that all of its teams will play the national anthem before games, “in keeping with longstanding league policy.” The statement appears to be a direct response to Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban telling his team to stop playing the song before games.

There were fans Monday night, but the anthem wasn’t played. However, following the NBA’s order,

The Mavericks played the national anthem before Wednesday’s game and all players appeared to stand. Several fans cheered afterward.

This country isn’t dead yet, despite the efforts of moonbats. Even among NBA fans, love of the USA probably tops politically correct hatred of it. Only firm control of the media makes the Democrat Party viable.

Political correctness has reached such an extreme of absurdity that it is considered racist for a white guy to punch a black guy — even in a boxing match. Jemele Hill, formerly of ultrawoke ESPN, suggested during an interview that white boxer Jake Paul is racist for knocking out black opponent Nate Robinson.

Paul appeared on the show Hill co-hosts with Cari Champion, called Cari & Jemele (Won’t) Stick to Sports, in which the two regularly mix politics with sports.

During the interview, Hill asked Paul, “Considering where we are right now in our racial conversation in America, was what you did to Nate Robinson racist?”

“That is the question of the week,” Champion chirped before Paul answered.

At first, Paul couldn’t believe they were serious. But they persisted. Hill asserted that “it’s a sensitive time right now, we just had to witness a white man knock out a black man smooth out in front of all of America, and that’s why I asked that.”

Then Champion asked him the same question. To his credit, Paul failed to denounce himself for racism.

[B]efore moving on to other topics, Champion accused Paul of not being “woke” enough and refusing to be part of the “conversation.”

Liberals must not have eradicated the last vestiges of sanity, because Hill got enough public flak that she was forced to fall back on the lame “Can’t you tell I was only kidding” defense.

In the future, white boxers will be required to stand with their hands at their sides while black boxers pummel their faces. Even if this fails to create racial harmony, it will at least provide masturbatory material for Democrats.

Is it too much to ask that when you are explicitly representing the United States abroad, you refrain from ostentatious displays of anti-American ideology?

If they keep it up with the moonbat politics, athletes may surpass journalists to become the least respected profession in America. In contrast to the NFL, NBA, and MLB, at least women’s soccer players don’t aggravate the insult by getting paid hundreds of times more than the allegedly racist working stiffs who fund their frivolous activities.

Olbermann shared video of the rant on Twitter Thursday night, writing, “TRUMP MUST BE REMOVED AND ARRESTED, TONIGHT.”

On what charges? Olbermann doesn’t think things through that far.

The MSNBC/ESPN alumnus dismissed the many millions of Americans who voted for Trump as “morons” and fretted hysterically that even if the liberal establishment can shoehorn Harris I mean Biden into power through voter fraud, Trump will run again in 2024.

Elsewhere during the evening, Vice President Mike Pence tweeted, “I Stand With President @realDonaldTrump,” to which Olbermann fired back, “Then you need to be arrested and removed tonight as well.”

Difficult as it is to take people like Keith Olbermann seriously, if we don’t push back against voter fraud, we will find ourselves ruled by them. In the context of modern history, current trends suggest that it won’t be long before they start loading us onto boxcars.

Absurdly overpaid ballplayers don’t show much respect for the regular Americans who fund their extravagant lifestyles:

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, 28, appeared to flip off a miles-long caravan of Trump supporters as he drove past in his Ferrari on the way to State Farm Stadium for Sunday night’s game against the Seattle Seahawks.

According to KSAZ-TV, a caravan of people supporting President Donald Trump for re-election rallied that day on several Arizona highways, including I-17, Loop 101, 202, and I-10.

Hopkins, who drove past the caravan making obscene gestures with both hands, was easily identified by a distinctive shirt that he showed up in at the stadium soon afterward.

His appalling behavior went beyond disrespect into reckless disregard for public safety:

Members of the pro-Trump caravan accused Hopkins of driving recklessly, speeding and swerving in and out of the caravan line.

He has a reason to behave like a sociopath:

Hopkins is a vocal Black Lives Matter supporter…

If he believes in Black Lives Matter, he must believe that all those normal people supporting their president are racists responsible for his intolerable oppression. If it weren’t for them, he wouldn’t have to drive a Ferrari. He wouldn’t have to scrape by on the $29 million per year he makes playing a game for part of the year. That must be why he supports a movement devoted to denigrating our country and tearing it down.

No doubt more than a few of the people he flipped off and endangered are Cardinals fans. Or at least they were. Eventually, regular Americans will figure out that moonbat entertainers need us; we do not need them.

• The 88 Notre Dame faculty members who signed a petition denouncing Amy Coney Barrett’s Supreme Court nomination include representatives of useless subjects like the Gender Studies Program but not of the law school where she taught.

• Alexandria public schools won’t let students attend class in person because COVID-19, despite the lack of medical justification for this; meanwhile, the school district’s superintendent Gregory Hutchings pulled his own daughter out of the public schools and put her in a private school that allows in-person attendance.

Now that sports have been definitively absorbed by the ultraleft — as emblemized by ballplayers ritually genuflecting to Marxist terrorists as they burned American cities — there is nothing more for Keith Olbermann to accomplish at hyperpoliticized ESPN. So he is once again dropping the sportscaster facade and coming out as a straightforward moonbat demagogue.

Olbermann has left ESPN for the fourth time to devote himself to helping Joe Biden by hosting a YouTube show. Watching the show won’t do your blood pressure any favors, but helps clarify what is at stake if people like Olbermann can exploit the empty vessel Biden to secure power in Washington.

The Blaze quotes him from his show on Thursday:

“The task is two-fold: the terrorist Trump must be defeated, must be destroyed, must be devoured at the ballot box, and then he, and his enablers, and his supporters, and his collaborators, and the Mike Lees and the William Barrs, and Sean Hannitys, and the Mike Pences, and the Rudy Gullianis and the Kyle Rittenhouses and the Amy Coney Barretts must be prosecuted and convicted and removed from our society while we try to rebuild it and to rebuild the world Trump has destroyed by turning it over to a virus.”

Olbermann did not state what alleged crimes Trump and his supporters “must” be prosecuted for.

Never mind what they will be prosecuted for. There is no shortage of Lavrentiy Beria types in the Democrat Party. Beria headed Stalin’s secret police. His motto: “Show me the man and I’ll find you the crime.”

It must please Olbermann immensely that Kyle Rittenhouse is already behind bars for the “crime” of defending himself from Black Lives Matter rioters who were trying to kill him.

The others would have to be imprisoned on openly ideological grounds.

As Dennis Prager recently noted, it is hard for Americans who have not spent time in a country like the USSR to understand how intolerable totalitarianism makes life. Nor can most of us get our heads around the possibility of the USA becoming such a country in the near future.

Thanks are due to Olbermann for making it clear that those who reject leftist ideology might perish in Soviet-style gulags if the radicalized Democrat base gets its way. If Biden is elected and the Democrats take the Senate, who is going to prevent it?

Notice that Democrats have not been screeching much about gun control. That is a sure sign that confiscation will be at the top of their agenda when they take power. Otherwise, Olbermann et al. will have a hard time getting us to board the trains.
