An Upper West Side woman was handcuffed, tossed into a police holding cell and treated like a criminal all over a minor infraction — walking her two dogs without a leash in Riverside Park…

Since the dogs were engaged in impermissible activity, they qualified for the same treatment:

Though unleashed, Comet and Sophie also stood obediently nearby, circling around their owner as one of the officers tried in vain to herd them into wire cages. […T]he officer who initiated the arrest gleefully explained how he’d use an electric stick to shock them into compliance.

Fortunately, her boyfriend arrived to rescue Comet and Sophie.

Once at the precinct, Marchand said she was treated like a “real” criminal — officers stripped her of her shoes and made her remove the strings from her pants as she sat in a holding cell…

On the contrary, if she were treated like a real criminal in New York, she would be awarded $millions in damages to compensate her for psychological trauma, and AOC would deliver tearful speeches on her behalf.

If only she had thought to throw a brick at the park cops and scream, “Black Lives Matter!” Then authorities would have left her alone.

The term for the liberal system of government is “anarchotyranny.”

Buffalo’s Next Mayor Calls for Social Worker Cannon Fodder

Letting Black Lives Matter maniacs run wild and dictate policy inevitably resulted not only in $billions in property damage but in an ongoing explosion of violent crime. Yet cities that have succumbed to the Democrat Death Spiral, rather than pull back in horror from the abyss, plunge ever deeper into moonbattery. Avowed socialist and Black Lives Matter supporter India B. Walton won the Democrat primary, so she will be the next Mayor of Buffalo. Here’s what that means for public safety:

Walton has said that she wants to cut the funding to the police force and send social workers to respond to some emergency calls instead.

On Wednesday, Walton reiterated that policy when responding to an incident where a 3-year-old was shot.

If the savages who make Buffalo unsafe will shoot a 3-year-old, odds are slim that they will spare social workers. Nonetheless, moonbattery dictates that they be deployed to address crime, because police officers only make matters worse.

“It is my concern that that community has experienced a very deeply hurtful trauma, and our response was to re-victimize them with another traumatic event, rather than sending in social workers and mental health counselors,” Walton said.

She said she plans to reallocate $7.5 million of police funds to social programs.

If there are any sane people left in Buffalo, get out before it’s too late — and don’t relocate to a city run by Democrats, or you will only have to escape again.

Mob of Savages Prevails in Philly Suburb

It takes no more than a tweeted rumor to set off the mob. Pray no one tweets about you, or you could end up like Edward Cagney Mathews of the Philadelphia suburb Mount Laurel. After context-free video of him spewing racial invective at a Neighbor of Color who pushed him and called him a “white monkey” hit social media, Black Lives Matter showed up at his house.

In the video, he behaved like a belligerent jerk asking for trouble. But if belligerent jerks don’t have the right of free speech, then no one does — and if they don’t get to live in a civilized country, no one does.

Mathews was placed under arrest for bias intimidation and harassment and was later hit with additional bias intimidation and assault charges. As best as I can tell, the assault charges may have been for him getting up in his neighbor’s face and pushing his belly into him.

Not even one member of the mob who attacked him, responding police, or his house was placed under arrest.

It is now commonplace to see savages throwing missiles at the police, knowing that there will be no consequences because the liberal establishment will always take their side.

Rather than telling BLM not to form vigilante mobs and surround and attack people’s homes and instead let our justice system work out such disputes, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina told the mob they “had every right to be upset” because of his “despicable conduct.”

The town’s mayor Stephen Steglik issued a statement that Mathews makes him sick to his stomach. Mathews “is not who we are.” The mob is.

Officers were hit with pepper spray and bottles. Not only Mathews’ townhouse but those adjoining it were damaged by the mob. But he’s the one in jail, not for being a jerk, but for angering Black Lives Matter.

Civilization is collapsing before our eyes. Liberals may not like what replaces it as much as they think.

Fined $18,000 for Clearing Trees to Build Home

As we have seen, shoplifting in California is effectively legal now, those in charge openly siding with criminals and against business owners. It sounds like anarchy, but the system of government imposed under single-party Democrat rule is better categorized as “anarchotyranny.” Yes, thieves and other sociopaths can do whatever they please, but it is a different story for property owners who clear trees to build something:

A couple who bulldozed and buried 36 Joshua trees to make way for a home were recently fined $18,000…

Imagine the havoc a Black Lives Matter rioter would have to wreak to get punished like that.

This is why the cost of housing keeps Californians poor. You can’t put up so much as a garden shed without violating forty-eleven regulations.

As in other forms of tyranny, not even Big Government can be everywhere, so informants play a crucial role:

Deutsche Welle reports that “political ideals served as the primary motivation for people to turn in their neighbors, friends and acquaintances to the secret police.” Similarly, sheer moonbattery is enough to motivate liberals to rat people out. The State doesn’t even need to pay them rewards.

As documented here and elsewhere, America faces disgraceful ruin at the hands of an enemy within — namely, the leftists in the process of consolidating absolute power. To make matters worse, the opposition has also been enervated and corrupted by its own enemy within. Some Republican politicians knife their own party in the back in return for 30 pieces of praise from the liberal media. Supposedly conservative media figures include fifth column columnists like George Will, who compares a few hundred yahoos allowed to trespass in the Capitol with 3,000 Americans murdered by Islamic terrorists:

“I would like to see January 6 as burned into the American mind as firmly as 9/11.”

That’s why Will supports a 9/11-style commission, that is, a gala theatrical extravaganza intended to keep the sheep focused on demonizing anyone Dems can manage to associate with the one riot liberals don’t approve of rather than the far more alarming developments currently emerging, such as a multipronged attack on our system of government (institutionalizing voter fraud, packing the Supreme Court, packing the Senate, etc.), incipient hyperinflation, and a government-facilitated foreign invasion.

Osama bin Laden has been replaced as the personification of evil by the Buffalo Guy. The Democrat Party/establishment media wants to make a monster of anyone who objects to voter fraud in the runup to establishing indefinite single-party rule with the For the People Act.

George Will demonstrates how you get to be a token “conservative” on left-wing propaganda programs like This Week. “Even I, as conservative, agree that all conservatives should be impaled on stakes…”

Meanwhile, the USA faces lawlessness that puts even the fearsome Buffalo Guy into perspective. For example, Minneapolis continues to flounder in anarchy due to a predictable shortage of police. Spiking violent crime has highlighted the insanity of the movement to defund the police. The recent street violence against Jews by Hamas supporters in American cities reflects the inevitability of bad people exploiting lawless conditions.

Even the Clintonista James Carville is denouncing the “faculty lounge politics” of the Biden Administration, which is hardly likely to reassert law & order. However, Biden’s handlers surely approve of Trump supporters being locked in solitary confinement for months on end, largely on trespassing and disorderly conduct charges. The term for the form of government we will have under single-party Democrat rule is anarchotyranny.

Antifa/BLM Own NYC Streets, Attack Journalist

Meanwhile, as our liberal overlords exploit the insurrection at the Capitol last Wednesday as a pretext to crush free speech, Antifa and Black Lives Matter continue to enjoy a free hand to dominate public spaces, and not only in dystopian Portland. Yesterday they flexed their muscle in New York City:

A large group of Antifa and Black Lives Matter demonstrators wearing black bloc and carrying shields marched in the streets of Manhattan on Sunday. …

The marchers chanted, “Whose mother-f**king streets? Our mother-f**king streets” …

Here’s how they treat interlopers on their MF’ing streets:

Social-media journalist Tara Szczepanski reported being assaulted by some from the rally. She reported having an egg smashed on the back of her head.

In the video she tweeted, she is assaulted by at least two of the men. One sprayed her with a chemical string and another appeared to strike her with a skateboard.

The mob identified her as “a f**king Nazi” and accused her of supporting the President of the USA. Anyone who fails to embrace Antifa/BLM ideology is a Nazi and will be treated accordingly.

Szczepanski rushed to nearby NYPD police officers and appears to be assaulted again — in view of the cops. She said they “they told me to stay 6 feet from them and let me be attacked.”

What else would you expect in Bill de Blasio’s New York?

Probation for Burglarizing While on Probation for Burglarizing

In a single-party Democrat jurisdiction like Chicago, what do you suppose the penalty might be for committing burglary while on probation for committing burglary? That’s right, probation:

An accused serial burglar and thief has been sentenced to probation for a burglary in Lincoln Park last year — even though he was already on probation for two burglaries at the time of the alleged break-in.

Jonathan Hernandez, 26, pleaded guilty to one count of theft in exchange for an 18-month probation sentence in the latest case, according to court records. He has been arrested seventeen times in Chicago since March 2014, according to CPD records.

Young as he is, Hernandez is a cinch to clear 100 arrests in his career, provided the government can keep law-abiding homeowners disarmed — and Chicago has repressive gun laws.

Among the bullet points on his résumé, Hernandez has been charged with threatening to shoot an off-duty cop whose garage he was allegedly burglarizing.

That Hernandez is still running around loose confirms that burglary is effectively legal in Lori Lightfoot’s Chicago.

But don’t try opening your business in violation of lockdown restrictions, or you might get in trouble.
