Apparent Letitia James Statue in Times Square

New York Attorney General Letitia James has been in an especially foul mood lately. This might help cheer her up. Looks like they have put up a statue of her in Times Square:

Times Square’s new 12-foot sculpture, Grounded in the Stars, faced online ridicule, with comparisons to New York Attorney General Letitia James.

So it isn’t really Letitia James? That would explain the relatively cheery expression and slim figure.

Grounded in the Stars is not one of a kind. Modernity notes that similar eyesores have appeared in San Francisco, London, Rotterdam, and even Florence:

It’s part of the pursuit of uniformity, the dismantling of vibrant, diverse aesthetics, to be replaced with a sterile monoculture of sick modernity that prioritises ideology over beauty.

Statues represent ideals to inspire our aspirations. Healthy societies erect statues of their heroes. Many of these were torn down during the Black Lives Matter riots. They will be replaced by statues of random overweight black women.

Kansas City’s Mad Max Mayor Quinton Lucas

Before the fundamental transformation is complete, America’s demographics will resemble those of Democrat-dominated larger cities like Kansas City. That means elected representatives like Quinton Lucas:

The Democrat mayor of a city where locals fear to step outside after 8pm said he was too busy to meet with them because he was off to see Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson.

‘If we want to talk more about public safety, I’ve got Ketanji Brown Jackson to go see at 4 o’clock. I’d like to be there and get through security,’ Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas told Fox 4 when asked about public safety concerns.

Governing is all about priorities. Who could pass up a chance to meet with the budding Broadway star Ketanji Brown Jackson?

Downtown Kansas City has become a hotspot for illegal street racing and reckless ATV and dirt bike riders tearing through the neighborhoods – chaos that escalated last month when a police officer was hit by an ATV, Fox 4 reported.

Our unfolding future is as thrilling as a movie:

The dystopian scenes are reminiscent of the Mad Max movies, which saw a ‘road warrior’ played by Mel Gibson terrorized by post-apocalyptic gangs riding motorbikes and ATVs across the Australian desert.

Lucas isn’t useless. Here he helps the Emmy-nominated moonbats at 60 Minutes campaign against our right of self-defense:

How easy it can be to strip people of constitutional rights so long as liberals call the shots.

Gas Prices in California Could Go Up 75% Next Year

The goal of the Democratic Party is to use open borders and the welfare state to do to the whole country what it has been doing to California. This gives an idea of what that would mean for gas prices:

California is set to lose two major oil refineries, bringing the total decline in refining capacity to 21% in three years.

The refineries are closing because Gavin Newsom et al. oppose energy production on the grounds that it offends the climate according to their ideology.

California’s gas prices are already much higher than in neighboring states, with a gallon of gas creeping up to $5/gallon, as much as nearly $2 a gallon more than in cheaper states. The national average price, according to AAA, is $3.15/gallon.

This is largely due to taxes. Where you have single-party rule by the Party of Big Government, you have excessive taxation.

Due to those refinery closures, prices may rise by as much as 75%.

That would mean $8.43 per gallon. No doubt liberals regard this as a small price to pay to signal their virtuous obeisance to the weather gods — although it is doubtful that even liberals believe this will have any perceptible effect on the weather.

But why complain about $8.43/gallon? One study found that driving an EV is the equivalent of paying $17.22/gallon. EVs are slated to become mandatory in the erstwhile Golden State.

Ostensibly Christian LGBT Camp for Kids

As Shakespeare observed, “The devil can cite Scripture for his purpose.” By applying this to the LGBT indoctrination camps for kids we keep seeing (e.g., here, here, here, here, here, here, here), social engineers kill two birds with one stone: molding trophy children for liberal parents to showcase and destroying Christianity by subverting it from within.

Presenting The Naming Project:

The Naming Project is a Christian ministry serving youth of all sexual and gender identities. We provide a safe place for youth who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning or allied to learn, grow, and share their experiences.

That is, it provides a Christian veneer to encouraging children to embrace LGBTism.

To put it mildly, this is not consistent with Scripture. Yet The Naming Project introduces its Summer Camp with a Bible verse:

“God saw everything that God had made, and indeed, it was very good” – Genesis 1:31

“Everything” evidently includes the sin, depravity, and psychosis embodied in LGBTism and its application to children:

The Naming Project Summer Camp is for 14-18 year-olds or those who have completed 8th-12th grades who are of any sexual orientation or gender identity or expression who are interested in discussing and understanding sexuality and gender in terms of their own spiritual journey and are excited to spend time with other teen campers and staff…

Another Bible verse comes to mind:

“But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea.”

Nonbinary Creepazoid Robert Adam Boycotts USA

So much winning:

Self-described “non-binary femme” Canadian country singer Robert Adam went to Nashville, Tennessee, to record his latest album but cites the triumphant return of President Donald Trump to the White House as the reason he won’t be heading back across the border anytime soon. …

Adam told the Canadian Press in a phone interview he made the right decision not to go stateside because it would be just too stressful.

Nonbinary types are not known for their resilience — or their sanity:

Adam told the outlet the possibility of personal questions about gender or being detained at the U.S. border far outweighs the upside.

Adam apparently believes he might be detained for his LGBTishness. His fellow Canuck, the guffaw-inducing Neil Young, thinks the same could happen to him for being a moonbat:

Young alleged on his website [last] month that Trump is the type of tyrant who might detain him while trying to re-enter the country after touring abroad.

Even more than other liberals, left-wing musicians live in a bubble of paranoid hysteria divorced from reality.

Country music is not safe from moonbattery.

Illegal Alien Child Rapist Lived at Family Daycare

Give me your tired, your poor, your illegal alien child rapists yearning to escape justice:

A licensed home daycare on Cape Cod has closed its doors following the arrest of a convicted child rapist who had been staying there. The closure of the family daycare, owned by Franciele Nunes in Hyannis, comes after 25 Investigates began looking into the presence of Andre Tiago Lucas, who is reportedly the father of Nunes’s two children.

According to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Tiago Lucas, a Brazilian national, fled to Massachusetts to evade a nine-year prison sentence in his home state of Minas Gerais for the rape of a 13-year-old girl.

The Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) had inspected five times but was unaware the child rapist was living there.

You can see why foreign criminals come to the USA when they want to evade punishment:

While the EEC mandates background checks for all individuals residing in or regularly visiting home daycares who are 15 or older, these checks, under current regulations, do not extend to criminal history records from outside the United States. Additionally, immigration status is not a factor considered during these background checks. This gap in the screening process means that even if Nunes had disclosed Tiago Lucas’s presence, his conviction in Brazil would not have been flagged by the state’s current vetting procedures.

Again we see that invading the country is a crime that needs to be taken seriously.
