If you liked the Deep State meddling in the 2016 and 2020 elections, you will love 2024, after Swamp apotheosis Joe Biden has had several years to nurture the corruption that was already festering out of control and to finish Barack Obama’s legacy of weaponizing federal agencies for partisan political purposes.

McFarland makes the case that the Peter Strzok and John Brennan types infesting the FBI and CIA will play a heavy hand in the next election — not only because the federal bureaucracy has been absorbed by the Democratic Party, but because their malfeasance will get many of the higher-ups in big trouble if they cannot prevent a Republican administration from coming in and cleaning house:

A retired CIA leader coordinated a letter from former intelligence chiefs claiming that Hunter Biden’s laptop was Russian disinformation because he wanted to help Joe Biden’s presidential campaign.

Mike Morell told the House Judiciary Committee that he was asked by Antony Blinken, the Secretary of State – who at the time was a senior member of the Biden campaign – to help discredit the laptop reporting.

Morell was a former acting CIA director, serving for two months in 2011 and four months from 2012 to 2013.

Political corruption appears to be pervasive in the intelligence community:

The letter was ultimately signed by 51 former intelligence officials, including himself and four other former CIA directors, including John Brennan and Leon Panetta.

This was coordinated with the media:

The headline for Politico’s story, on October 19, 2020, was: ‘Hunter Biden story is Russian disinfo, dozens of former officials say.’

The Hunter laptop story, which came out right before the election, had to be killed not because it confirms Biden’s son is a degenerate, but because it suggests Biden himself has been on the payroll of our Communist Chinese adversaries.

The letter alleged that The New York Post story ‘has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.’

It wasn’t global warming, so it must have been the Russians.

By now, no serious person denies that the laptop is legit — as Blinken and the CIA no doubt knew all along.

DC bureaucrats constitute another branch of government — arguably the most powerful — with its own objectives. Unsurprisingly, it is aligned with the Party of Government, if need be against American voters. It will take orders from damp apparatchiks like Antony Blinken to keep the establishment party in power, because there will be no draining of swamps with corrupt Democrats in the White House.

Morell was thanked for his work in coordinating the letter, with Steve Ricchetti, chairman of the Biden campaign, telephoning him after the debate to say thank you.

These same people will tell you that Americans protesting election fraud are enemies of democracy.

I’ll give Blinken credit for this much. He always looks like his conscience is bothering him:

In contrast, Biden has no more conscience than a lizard. That is his primary qualification to serve as the figurehead for the liberal establishment.

Just how far left is the FBI? If a battalion of heavily armed thugs bursting into Mark Houck’s house to drag him off to jail for being a pro-life activist doesn’t answer this question for you, consider what happened to the FBI agents who were photographed shamefully kneeling in obeisance to Marxist black supremacists at the height of the Black Lives Matter riots:

At least six FBI agents from the bureau’s Washington, D.C., field office were photographed kneeling during a BLM march on June 4, 2020, and were referred to derisively on social media as “Kneel Team Six.”

Obviously, people who obsequiously display submission to criminals as they loot and destroy should not be working in law enforcement. Yet not only were these moonbats not fired, at least two of them were promoted:

They are Sarah Webb Linden, who was promoted from special agent to assistant special agent in charge of the FBI’s D.C. field office, and Amy Oakes, who was promoted from agent to lead cybercrimes counterintelligence agent.

There is a tendency with the federal government for the worst people to fail upward. This explains our current POTUS, but not these promotions. Kooks who prioritize leftist politics over the safety of American citizens are what the FBI seeks to promote.

[Former FBI agent Kyle] Seraphin said he was in the room a few days after the kneeling controversy when two FBI executive assistant directors, Jennifer Moore and Larissa Knapp, praised agents who kneeled. Hugs even occurred, he said.

“In the meeting, there was praise for all who knelt,” Seraphin told The Daily Signal.

It wasn’t simple cowardice or “de-escalation.” According to Seraphin…

…the FBI kneelers were a good distance from the actual protesters. He said he suspected that the agents’ act of kneeling was more of a political statement than an effort to stay safe.

“Both were promoted shortly after kneeling,” Seraphin said.

Seraphin, an FBI special agent for six years, became a whistleblower before the bureau suspended him without pay last year. He first revealed that the FBI’s field office in Richmond, Virginia, was targeting Catholics when he published a document on UncoverDC.com.

Personnel is policy. With every passing day, the personnel comprising the Deep State veers farther to the left. The FBI is comprised of ever fewer principled law enforcement agents like Seraphim and ever more leftist apparatchiks like Linden.

Black Lives Matter conducted violence throughout the country to achieve political objectives. It is by any reasonable definition a terrorist organization. Counterterrorism is Linden’s area of expertise. According to her alma mater’s website, “Today, Sarah is a supervisory special agent specializing in cases of homegrown violent extremism.”

That is, she specializes in supporting it on behalf of the radical left. That’s how you get promoted in the FBI, now that it has succumbed to the Long March Through the Institutions.

Oakes, the second agent identified as kneeling during a Black Lives Matter protest, also has worked on counterterrorism investigations.

The FBI was asked for input on this story. Here it is: “The FBI declines to comment.”

The Deep State is not answerable to the public. As Democrats consolidate power, the public will increasingly be answerable to the FBI.

The FBI pretended to back off when a whistleblower revealed that it targets Catholics as thought criminals. But sunlight only works as a disinfectant when applied relentlessly. Robert Spencer reports that the Deep State roaches are out from under the oven, antennae a-twitching:

In November 2021, FBI and Homeland Security Department officials increased investigations of “domestic extremists,” reiterating the claim that they are today’s foremost terror threat.

Black Lives Matter rioters and the recent profusion of mass-murdering transgender maniacs do not count as “domestic extremists,” because you are not considered extreme if you share the Regime’s ideology. Consequently…

…there just weren’t enough “domestic violent extremists” to match the hysterical rhetoric, and so the FBI actually resorted to pressuring agents to inflate domestic extremism numbers, and even to fabricate such cases.

That imperative, plus the burning hatred that Catholic Joe’s regime clearly has for all forms of traditional Christianity and above all for pro-lifers, may have led to the fact that, as Fox News reported Monday, the FBI “recently sought to develop sources inside Christian churches and Catholic dioceses as part of an effort to combat domestic terrorism.”

Spencer notes there is no “indication that they’ve taken these spies out of the pews,” and that in the absence of evidence that Catholic churches work like mosques as incubators of terrorism, this is “plain and simple harassment and scapegoating of Christians” by Democrats, who have weaponized the FBI against those they hate.

You can see why the FBI needs a new headquarters twice the size of the Pentagon. There are plenty of thought criminals out there to monitor, intimidate, and potentially drag off to prison like Mark Houck.

Taibbi is among the last of the principled liberals, whose numbers also include Glenn Greenwald, Bari Weiss, and Naomi Wolf. Their kind has been driven to the brink of extinction by the Jacobins comprising the Democratic Party, for whom the only principle is power at any price:

Taibbi has provoked the ire of Democrats and other journalists for his role in researching Twitter records and then releasing internal communications from the social-media giant that expose its censorship and its contacts with government officials. This effort has already inspired government bullying, with Chair Lina Khan’s Federal Trade Commission targeting new Twitter owner Elon Musk and demanding the company “identify all journalists” granted access to the Twitter files.

None too soon, House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan is conducting an investigation into Democrat weaponization of the federal bureaucracy.

Taibbi has told Mr. Jordan’s committee that an IRS agent showed up at his personal residence in New Jersey on March 9. That happens to be the same day Mr. Taibbi testified before the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government about what he learned about Twitter.

Taibbi learned that his 2018 and 2021 tax returns had been rejected.

Timing is never a coincidence in politics. The timing of this rare personal IRS visit was ham-fisted to ensure no one missed the point. The term for this is “intimidation.”

The fear of many Americans is that, flush with its new $80 billion in funding from Congress, the IRS will unleash its fearsome power against political opponents.

Why do you think Biden felt the need for 87,000 new IRS employees? Why do you think recruiters have been emphasizing the use of deadly force?

Through the magic of inflation, Democrats can steal money directly out of every pocket by printing more of it. They don’t need the IRS to raise funds. They need it to punish perceived threats to their rule. In our soft (for now) tyranny, the IRS plays the same role as the Gestapo.

George Orwell described authoritarian statism as “a boot stamping on a human face.” Who would want to live under such a system? Democrats would, believing that it is their boot, not their face.

A constitutional conservative — or a Christian — would understand that it is everyone’s face under the boot. That’s why even if the Deep State were not intrinsically left-wing, no true conservative would use it to punish political opponents, as Obama pioneered and his morally decrepit understudy Biden is carrying forward.

If you are as enthused as liberal entertainers about the way the politicized FBI raided the home of Joe Biden’s main political opponent, you will love the treatment regular Americans receive from the 87,000 new IRS agents Democrats plan to hire after they spend a staggering $80 BILLION of our money to supersize the agency.

Negative attention made them take it down, but a recruiting ad that was running today in the jobs section of the IRS website indicates where the weaponization of the Deep State is heading:

A job listing for the position of IRS Criminal Investigation Special Agent stresses that applicants must “carry a firearm and be willing to use deadly force” in order to carry out their duties.

So that’s why the IRS needs $700,000 worth of ammunition.

That was in the spring. With the $80 billion, they will really be able to stock up on bullets.

Don’t worry; the IRS won’t come after you — not so long as you pay your taxes promptly, are a registered Democrat, and have never said anything unwoke on social media. Just to be on the safe side, be sure to praise Biden at every public opportunity.

Among the most alarming aspects of the politicization and weaponization of the Deep State that began under Obama is the absorption of the FBI into the Democratic Party.

Sometimes the FBI serves not as a law enforcement organization but as a buffer between Democrats and law enforcement:

Agents investigating President Joe Biden’s son “opened an assessment which was used by an FBI headquarters team to improperly discredit negative Hunter Biden information as disinformation and caused investigative activity to cease,” according to Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA). Grassley revealed the claim after his office received “a significant number of protected communications from highly credible whistleblowers” about the investigation. The Republican claimed one of the communications shows “verified and verifiable derogatory information on Hunter Biden was falsely labeled as disinformation.”

The Hunter laptop information was falsely discredited by the liberal establishment because it made clear — right before the election — that Joe Biden has been influence-peddling to our communist Chinese enemies. To suppress this information is loyalty to the Democratic Party, but treason to America.

One of the whistleblowers claimed the FBI assistant special agent in charge of the Washington field office, Timothy Thibault, shut down a line of inquiry into Hunter Biden in October 2020 despite some of the details being known to be true at the time.

Other times, the FBI plays a still more disturbing role, reminiscent of the USSR’s KGB:

The same senior FBI agent who allegedly shut down investigative activity related to Hunter Biden also allegedly sought to pad the FBI’s number of “domestic violent extremism” cases, a whistleblower informed House Judiciary Committee ranking member Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) on Wednesday.

That same agent is Thibault, who also may have violated the Hatch Act with his left-wing politicizing on social media.

Jordan had sent a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray on Wednesday revealing that whistleblowers informed his office that “FBI officials are pressuring agents to reclassify cases as ‘domestic violent extremism’ even if the cases do not meet the criteria for such a classification.”

He noted in the letter that the whistleblower information is “scandalous” considering the Biden administration’s push to frame domestic violent extremism as America’s “greatest threat.”

According to Biden’s Injustice Department under ratlike apparatchik Merrick Garland (whom Obama tried to place on the Supreme Court), parents who speak out at school board meetings against their children being indoctrinated with critical race theory and depraved LGBT ideology are terrorists. This allows tools intended to be used against organizations like al Qaeda to be used instead against regular Americans.

Draining the swamp will be a herculean task. It has become urgent.

Ted Cruz disappointed conservatives when he assisted leftists by characterizing the overblown January 6 debacle as a “violent terrorist attack.” Now he makes amends by asking questions the liberal media will not regarding the federal government’s possible involvement in inciting the riot.

Yesterday, Cruz grilled the FBI’s Jill Sanborn (Executive Assistant Director, National Security Branch) before a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing.

Cruz: Did any FBI agents or confidential informants actively participate in the events of January 6th, yes or no?

Sanborn: Sir, I can’t answer that.

Cruz: Did any FBI agents or confidential informants commit crimes of violence on January 6th?

Sanborn: I can’t answer that, sir.

Cruz: Did any FBI agents or FBI informants actively encourage and incite crimes of violence on January 6th?

Sanborn: Sir, I can’t answer that.

Sanborn also refused to say whether riot inciter Ray Epps is a federal agent. However, the January 6th Committee proclaims that Epps denies being a government agent, so apparently the matter is settled to the satisfaction of Liz Cheney et al.

Cruz finally did manage to extract a “Not to my knowledge” from Sanborn on the question, “Did federal agents or those in service of federal agents actively encourage violent and criminal conduct on January 6th?”

Secretiveness about sources and methods is not a luxury we can afford in this case, because Democrats have been exploiting January 6 in an attempt to change our system of government by institutionalizing election fraud to secure permanent single-party control.

Epps reminds Mark Dice of FBI informant Emad Salem, who would have gotten burned on the 1993 World Trade Center attack if he hadn’t wisely distrusted the FBI enough to record conversations with them:

Because they have gone to such lengths to exploit it, January 6 is Democrats’ Reichstag fire, regardless of whether the Federal Bureau of Instigation lit the match.
