A new bill filed in the New York State Assembly aims to force some Chick-fil-A locations to operate seven days a week, threatening the fast food chain’s longstanding policy of keeping its restaurants closed on Sundays.

The legislation proposed last week would require all food vendors operating at rest stops owned by the New York State Thruway Authority to open every day, and names Chick-fil-A as the reason behind the move.

Although it is as left-wing as most other corporations (and CEO Dan Cathy’s over-the-top moonbattery is too much for those with sensitive stomachs), Chick-fil-A is still at least nominally a Christian company, which is why it stays closed on the sabbath.

Regarding the Thruway,

The $450 million project having been built with no toll or tax dollars certainly makes it difficult to force a business to abide by government-mandated operating hours.

Maybe not so difficult in New York, where the Party of Government enjoys single-party rule.

In a free country, it would be inconceivable for Big Government to determine when junk food must be served.

In blue Colorado, left-wing judicial activists acting on behalf of the Democratic Party have opened fire on the American form of government by ruling that the leader of the opposition party cannot appear on the ballot.

The pretext is a leftist talking point taken seriously only in moonbat fever swamps: that Trump took part in an insurrection because some of his supports got unruly at the Capitol while protesting election fraud.

By barring the opposition leader from the ballot, Colorado is in violation of the US Constitution, which requires each state to provide a republican form of government.

Unsurprisingly, the Democratic Party brain trust at MSNBC has encouraged other states to follow Colorado’s lead.

If Democrats hold onto power after pulling this stunt, the wheels are officially coming off. A vote for Trump in November will be a vote for the USA to remain a democratic republic rather than descending into tyranny.

Democrats have been using their control of public schools to promote homosexuality to children. At least they practice what they preach.

One video appears to be from a conference room in the Hart Senate Office Building, where Cardin’s office is located.

Cardin was first elected as a U.S. senator from Maryland in 2007, and prior to that, he served for 20 years in the U.S. House of Representatives.

The bill would guarantee the right to vote in federal elections for all Americans, regardless of criminal conviction. It also requires those with past convictions to receive notice they are now eligible to vote.

Democrats support horrific atrocities against Israeli women because they see Israel as similar to the USA. As their Iranian allies put it, America is the Great Satan; Israel is the Little Satan. Israelis are “white-adjacent,” because many of them have European blood and consequently lighter skin than most Arabs. They are “colonialists,” because like those who created America, they settled lands where people with darker skin had lived.

In reality, Israel has been Jewish land for thousands of years. But to liberals, history is only a narrative to be twisted to fit political ends. Israel was explicitly given to the Jewish people by God according to the religion that Western Civilization was constructed upon. Refer to the Old Testament for the whole story. But moonbats steer clear of Bibles for fear of bursting into flame upon contact.

A great deal more exaggeration was required in the USA than in Germany. During the dysfunctional, morally degenerate, hyperinflationary Weimar Republic, communists really might have taken over the government, like they had done with catastrophic consequences in Russia.

Democrats started with a protest against election fraud that got a little out of hand (though nothing serious compared to a Black Lives Matter riot) — possibly as a result of federal agents provocateurs. No one would have taken it seriously if not for hype from the complicit media and preposterous show trials featuring a disgraceful pair of RINO collaborators. A wacky guy dressed as a buffalo was never going to overthrow the US Government.

Eventually, everyone learned the truth about the Reichstag Fire — i.e., that the only real threat was in the response to it. Despite the media’s/Democrats’ best efforts to suppress it, we are now learning the truth about January 6. Speaker Mike Johnson has released the 44,000 hours of surveillance video.

Protestors clashed with police outside of the Democratic National headquarters as pro-Palestine groups flooded the front facility and violence erupted.

Officers have already made at least one arrest for assault on an officer after 150 activists surged towards the Washington, DC, building on Wednesday night.

The incident left six police officers injured from cuts, pepper spray and being punched.

Mostly peaceful liberal protesters frequently attack police officers nowadays. Literally thousands were injured by the Black Lives Matter riots that enjoyed the enthusiastic support of the liberal establishment.

The protesters demand a “ceasefire” — i.e., surrender to Hamas in the aftermath of the horrific October 7 terror atrocities that featured children and their parents being tortured and murdered in front of each other.

Again we see that being on their side hardly protects an institution from leftist bullies. On the contrary, bullies push around those who are susceptible to being pushed. For example, campus protests abound because student hooligans know liberal educrats are likely to give in to even the most outrageous demands, so long as they come from the Left.

Many in the Biden Regime are already on board:

Four hundred government officials from 40 departments and agencies within President Biden’s administration signed a letter opposing the president’s handling of the Israel-Hamas war and demanded a cease-fire.

The Tuesday letter, first reported by the New York Times, includes officials from the State Department, White House, National Security Council and the Justice Department.

Biden has tried to take both sides simultaneously, officially siding with Israel while meanwhile giving $100 million to Hamas, launching a pro-Islam propaganda campaign, and scheming to depose Netanyahu.

Even this is not good enough for today’s Left, which demands total capitulation. Israelis are regarded as white-adjacent. Therefore, they are “colonizers,” despite living on land that has been theirs for millennia. Therefore, “From the River to the Sea” — i.e., they must be eradicated.

Note that who leftists really want to eradicate is regular Americans. This they will do soon after they have managed to disarm us.

With the staggeringly hypocritical projection that characterizes progressives, elected Democrats accuse Israel of “genocide” for resisting genocide.

In the video, police find Clayton County Board of Commissioners Vice Chair Felicia Franklin outside of a sports bar. She is then loaded into an ambulance, where she screams, thrashes and is uncooperative with medics providing care.

Specifically, Franklin was found passed out outside the 404 Sports Bar and Grill in Morrow, Georgia on September 29. She claimed to have been given a date rape drug, but lab tests found alcohol and cannabis instead.

She has since been removed from her role as Vice Chair after the incident was revealed, but she remains an elected official for the county. …

Franklin reportedly called the move unlawful during the meeting to vote her out, and said she would run for the seat of chairwoman of the board.

Given what voters will vote for in the Atlanta metro area, don’t bet against her.

I hope you like Felicia, because she might not settle for Chairwoman of the Clayton County Board of Commissioners. With her qualifications, she could be a Supreme Court Justice or a heartbeat away.
