If most of us agree that Anheuser-Busch deserves to be boycotted into oblivion for constantly ramming LGBTism down our throats, how can any countermoonbat still buy Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, which has long branded itself on pushy leftism? Taking to social media, the ice cream company divided fans over its Independence Day post, tweeting, “The United States was founded on stolen indigenous land. This Fourth of July, let’s commit to returning it.”

Return it to who? Indians? Most of our ancestors came from Europe, theirs came from Asia. What’s the difference?

Are pious liberals going to lead the way by resettling in some other country? Unfortunately not.

This isn’t about progressives’ bizarre reverence for the Stone Age savagery that once prevailed in this part of the world. It is about hatred of America and its heritage. Confirmation:

In a similar message on its website, the company argued that July 4 festivities and celebrations can “distract from an essential truth about this nation’s birth.”

Ben & Jerry’s proposed to “start with Mount Rushmore,” writing, “What is the meaning of Independence Day for those whose land this country stole, those who were murdered and forced with brutal violence onto reservations, those who were pushed from their holy places and denied their freedom.”

“The faces on Mount Rushmore are the faces of men who actively worked to destroy Indigenous cultures and ways of life, to deny Indigenous people their basic rights,” the statement concluded.

George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln are villains to be canceled according to the moonbats at Ben & Jerry’s.

The Progress Pride flag represents degeneracy and intersectional cultural Marxism, combining sexual perversion with antiwhite racism. In 2021, Kristin Pitzen, a public school teacher in Orange County, California was reportedly investigated after posting a video on social media saying her students recited the Pledge of Allegiance to the Progress Pride flag after she removed the American flag because it made her “uncomfortable.”

Last year, students at a Maryland elementary school were invited by school staff to be filmed holding pride flag posters while saying, “Love, Respect, Freedom, Tolerance, Equality, and Pride.”

Even the husband [sic] of Biden’s Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg has been caught on video mocking the pledge of allegiance with a group of LGBTQ+ kids at a “gay camp.” Chasten Buttigieg, a middle school teacher, was filmed doing a “pledge to the rainbow flag” in 2019.

It doesn’t stop at schools. Under Democrat rule, the Progress Pride flag has been triumphantly hoisted above the federal headquarters of the Department of the Interior and the State Department. The rainbow flag is often seen over US embassies.

Slavery was a virtually universal institution throughout the world from before recorded history until it was largely ended by the British navy in the 19th century. Even now it persists in places like Africa. In the USA, it was ended at the cost of an estimated 620,000 American lives. Speaking at the US–African Leaders Summit, Joe Biden spit on those graves:

Biden on Wednesday apologized for the ‘unimaginable cruelty’ of slavery, which he referred to as America’s ‘original sin’, and pledged $55 billion in investment to the continent.

Biden was unlikely to mention that the slaves were purchased from those who had enslaved them — i.e., other Africans. He did explain that the “investment” will consist of pouring our money down ratholes and into the pockets of dictators in the name of “climate change” and “women’s initiatives.”

As visited earlier, Democrats like Gavin Newsom are applying Biden’s brand of anti-American demagoguery at a state level by pushing for reparations:

The grifters are lining up to make their case for why the money spigot should be opened wide. We will be treated to a long line of people who have never been slaves explaining to people who have never owned slaves why they should donate billions to apologize to long-dead slaves in a state that never held slaves. …

American slaveholders have paid their dues by dying. Account closed.

California … is now losing both people and businesses because the people in power are more concerned with dividing up the spoils than creating new wealth.

The same could be said for America as a whole under liberal rule. No one should be surprised to see Democrats loot to death a country they noisily despise.

The Pentagon exists to fight the enemies of the American government. Under Democrat rule, that means the core American population. That’s why the overtly hostile Lloyd Austin and Mark Milley have been put in charge. It is why Kelisa Wing is employed by the Department of Defense to indoctrinate the children of servicemembers.

Since we are the bad guys, the terrorists of September 11 must have been the good guys. So we read this:

A self-described “woke” Pentagon equity chief, who is currently under probe over anti-White tweets uncovered by Fox News Digital, recommended a “social justice” book for classrooms which called 9/11 first responders “menaces.”

Kelisa Wing is a diversity, equity and inclusion chief at the Pentagon’s education wing – the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA). She is involved in curriculum at DoDEA, which services over 60,000 military-connected children at 160 schools around the globe, according to a press release announcing her position in December 2021.

Soon military brats really will be brats — because they will grow up indoctrinated by kooks like Wing to think themselves entitled and superior either for not being white, or for hating themselves for being white. Public schools aren’t much different.

Fox News Digital found that on two occasions DoDEA’s diversity, equity and inclusion chief promoted the anti-police book “Between the World and Me” by Ta-Nehisi Coates while representing herself as an employee of the Pentagon’s education wing.

Ta-Nehisi Coates barked after 9/11 that the first responders who rushed into the falling towers “were not human to me” and “were menaces” that might “shatter my body.” Coates is revered as an enlightened intellectual among ruling class chin-pullers.

The World Trade Center was not the only site of carnage on 9/11; 125 people died in the Pentagon, along with 59 people aboard the flight Muslim terrorists crashed into it. There as in New York, the heroism of first responders saved lives.

Wing has also advocated defunding and disbanding the police. What do you need local police for, once you have woke-ified the military?

Wing projectile vomits contempt at Caucasians, sneeringly referring to white women as “Karens” and expressing amazement that they have “the CAUdacity to say that black people can be racist.” Self-awareness is not this professional racist’s forte.

She has said that she wants to “completely tear down” the American system. That makes her a perfect fit for her job, described here by Director of the DoDEA Thomas Brady:

“This new position will take a holistic approach to identifying and improving how we integrate the practice of diversity, equity and inclusion in every aspect of DoDEA, from curriculum and assessment to hiring and professional development.”

Cultural Marxism (aka diversity, equity, and inclusion) is not a tool for building. It is a wrecking ball fit only to destroy.

Whatever moonbats choose to call it, this is Columbus Day. On Thanksgiving, we give thanks to God for the blessings we enjoy. Today, we acknowledge that many of these blessings come via Western Civilization, which Columbus personified by spreading to the New World.

For this reason, leftists hate Columbus. He is undergoing cancelation, as evidenced by the dozens of Columbus statues that were torn down by Black Lives Matter mobs.

The arrival of Europeans lifted earlier inhabitants of the Western Hemisphere out of Stone Age savagery. Life for them had been nasty, brutish, and short.

Yet the ideology of our ruling class demands we pretend it was idyllic. Columbus is to be vilified as an oppressor of the indigenous. Given this viewpoint, renaming today as “Indigenous People’s Day” is equivalent to proclaiming December 25 to be Satan Day.

How ironic, how stunning, how sad – that the day on which America celebrates our discovery by Christopher Columbus in 1492, second Monday in October, was replaced by Joe Biden in 2021 with “Indigenous Peoples’ Day.”

Despite the high position he was placed in, Joe Biden is not the kind of guy anyone could admire. Columbus was:

Daring enough to keep trying, unflinching when storms rake us, determined to persevere when others give up, ignited by curiosity, willing to think for ourselves, explore, learn, investigate, remain hopeful when others lose hope. That was Columbus.

These days, the qualities Columbus embodied are despised. We are expected to revere failure and self-pity. This is why statues of Columbus were destroyed in the name the low-life loser George Floyd and an ideology of sniveling victimhood.

Because Columbus was Italian, Columbus Day is also a day to celebrate Italian heritage. But Italians have assimilated to become Americans, so they are no longer to be celebrated. Instead, they are demonized along with other Caucasians.

We have two cultures now: the phony, sickly culture the liberal establishment wants to impose, and the real American culture that still celebrates Columbus Day.

Despite being extravagantly wealthy, she screeches that she is oppressed, on the grounds that America is racist. A fellow oppressed Woman of Color — Librarian of Congress Carla Diane Hayden — invited Lizzo to publicly defile a crystal flute owned by James Madison, one of the greatest men who has ever lived.

Even if it were an attempt at homage, it would be in grotesquely bad taste, considering Lizzo’s obscene outfit, her Miley Cyrus-style protruding tongue, and of course the profane twerking. It was the diametric opposite of homage:

James Madison, primary mastermind of the US Constitution, is now fashionably regarded as problematic because he lived in the 18th century by 18th century mores, because of the three-fifths compromise that allowed the Constitution to take effect, but mostly because he was a white guy and a giant.

For an encore, Lizzo might squirt diarrhea on the Declaration of Independence. One of her ancestors took its author’s name. But the family line has apparently decayed since then.

The purpose of ESPN is to present leftism in the context of sports entertainment, so as to brainwash people who have no interest in politics. An audience is easier to manipulate when it expects only to be entertained, not to be indoctrinated. The moonbattery pushed by ESPN does not attempt to win arguments, but only to present a worldview that the audience is implicitly expected to share. This is the worldview of our liberal ruling class. It is hostile to American civilization, which progressives are in the process of eradicating.

Mount Rushmore is one of America’s most iconic monuments, featuring four of our greatest presidents, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, and Teddy Roosevelt. Liberals want these giants erased, so as to replace them with a new class of heroes, such as George Floyd, who will be apt representatives of the country they wish to create where America used to be.

To that end, ESPN’s Jalen Rose calls for the very words “Mount Rushmore” to be struck from the Newspeak Dictionary as unspeakable, and for his audience to “take action” against the monument:

There could be no more profound an enemy than we face in politically correct liberals. They want not only to conquer and destroy America, but to twist, defile, and erase its history, so that it will be as if our nation never existed. Compared to Jalen Rose and the liberal ruling class that provides him with a megaphone, our worst foreign adversaries are friends.

To destroy a nation, you have to turn it against its own heritage. You have to tear down its greatest heroes. This is why the Black Lives Matter riots prominently featured the destruction of statues of the Founding Fathers. It is why Monticello — long preserved as a shrine to the greatness of the author of the Declaration of Independence — is now being used by America’s enemies to propagandize against its creator Thomas Jefferson:

The new emphasis is the culmination of a 10-year effort to balance the historical record, officials of the Thomas Jefferson Foundation, the nonprofit that owns the estate, have said.

But visitors complain that employees go out of their way to belittle Jefferson and his life.

Jefferson has been targeted for erasure on the grounds that he took part in a society that did not comply with 21st standards of political correctness. Like the rest of the landowners in 18th century Virginia, he had slaves.

Already his statue has been expelled from New York City Council by Bill de Blasio after nearly 2 centuries. Now they have transformed Monticello into a soapbox from which to denounce him, rendering the monument pointless.

The propaganda is executed with the subtlety we have come to expect of progressives. The ticket booth in the visitor’s center is “decorated with a contemporary painting of Jefferson’s weeping slaves.” Exhibits focus on Sally Hemings, a mixed race slave with whom Jefferson allegedly had children. If liberals prevail, this possibly fictional relationship is all that will be remembered about him.

Upon entering the mansion, visitors are confronted by a gigantic modern painting of a faceless black man. It was commissioned in honor of “Juneteenth.” Smirks Monticello guide Susan Woodward,

“It’s quite provocative, I do believe.”

The book shop features the excretions of proponents of critical race theory Ibram X. Kendi and Ta-Nehisi Coates. How provocative.

The message that Jefferson owned slaves and was therefore a bad man is ubiquitous. Visitors are also belligerently reminded that Monticello was built on land where sacred savages once roamed happy and free, before evil white people like Jefferson came to oppress them.

This will surprise no one:

The Thomas Jefferson Foundation is run by a roster of big-money Dem donors and former Democratic officials…

The foundation is chaired by Melody Barnes, former assistant to Barack Obama and director of the White House Domestic Policy Council, who has griped in WaPo about all the nice things people say about that scoundrel Thomas Jefferson.

Allowing leftists to take over Monticello is like putting satanists in charge of the Vatican.

The American flag represents individual liberty and Western Civilization at its best. Moonbats react to it like vampires to the Holy Cross. This makes the Fourth of July triggering for them. Here, one describes the knot in her stomach she feels at the sight of the Stars and Stripes:

We are expected to believe that she once loved Old Glory, until it came to stand for “white supremacy” and a handful of angry yahoos trespassing in the people’s house. However, anti-Americanism has always been a fundamental tenet of moonbattery.

Treason is a moonbat’s first instinct. If they are American, that is reason enough for them to hate America. This is why they side with foreign trespassers against citizens, nonwhites against whites, and animals against people. If we are invaded by squid-like monsters from another galaxy, they will side with the aliens, and even act self-righteous about it, as they denounce their betters for “othering” the space creatures.

Projected self-loathing is the most likely psychopathological explanation.

Some of this resistance came from the Fraternal Order of Police Orlando Lodge #25, which denounced the denunciation as “inflammatory and in poor taste.”
