Sitting on the wrong side of a historic desk used by the Father of Our Country, flanked by foreigners, Zohran Mamdani acknowledges the 250th anniversary of this remarkable country by denouncing it:

The attack is psychological. They intend to fill us with such helpless rage that we eventually collapse in exhaustion and become dispirited.

The threat is not limited to New York, where leftists have succeeded in largely displacing the native population with Third Worlders and their explosively numerous, often welfare-dependent offspring. Communists are using the Democratic Party to achieve power nationwide. Consider faraway Denver, where a Marxist born in Ethiopia just shoved aside a 15-term incumbent.

Fox News reports on Melat Kiros:

Rep. Diana DeGette, D-Colo., a 30-year incumbent, lost to a Democratic Socialists of America (DSA)-backed challenger in a high-profile primary on Tuesday evening.

Melat Kiros is expected to join the alarmingly expanding Squad, consisting of hard left Women of Color (plus Greg Casar) devoted to the destruction of America and the imposition of communism on its ruins.

Like a lot of Democrats going to the figurative guillotine for being too moderate, DeGette is a radical. She opposes the defense of the USA from foreign invasion:

DeGette, a member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus who supports abolishing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), sought to win a 16th House term by flexing her leftist bona fides. She argued her seniority on an influential House committee would allow her to push for Medicare-for-All legislation — a longtime priority of the party’s far-left flank.

“Medicare-for-All” is Euphemese for socialized medicine of the type that has had Canadians waiting a median 30 weeks to see a specialist.

DeGette, who was endorsed by former CPC Chairwoman Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash., also spotlighted her experience as an impeachment manager during Trump’s second impeachment trial in 2021.

Jacobins have not yet outflanked the anti-American foreigner Jayapal on the left. But they will manage somehow.

DeGette’s head has landed in a basket because she was seen as siding with Israel against the fiendishly evil Hamas terrorists who produced 10/7.

As for Kiros’ credentials:

The millennial challenger was endorsed by Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., and the anti-incumbent leftist organization Justice Democrats. Controversial socialist streamer Hasan Piker, who has said Hamas is “a thousand times better” than Israel and praised the Chinese Communist Party, also backed Kiros’ insurgent primary run.

Regarding the nightmarish Muslim atrocities of 10/7:

[Kiros] has also described the Oct. 7, 2023, attacks against the Jewish state as the “inevitable consequence of apartheid” and declined to characterize the deadly firebombing of protesters in Boulder last year who were urging the release of hostages held by Hamas in Gaza as antisemitic.

The Democratic Party has a new motto: Why be just somewhat evil when you can be all the way evil?

Kiros has also suggested the United States deserved 9/11.

No wonder she has Hasan Piker’s support.

As in New York, the primary serves as the general election, because the Democrat candidate is guaranteed to win:

Colorado’s 1st Congressional District is the most liberal seat in the state and voted for former Vice President Kamala Harris by 56 points in 2024.

Thanks to the Supreme Court’s suicidal ruling on birthright citizenship, we can look forward to the whole country voting like Colorado’s 1st Congressional District within a few decades.

Larry David and Joy Behar Are Embarrassed to Be American

How much do rich liberals appreciate America? Let’s ask a pair of famous figures from Tinseltown and the mainstream media — Larry David and Joy Behar. Via NewsBusters:

As a counter to President Trump’s recent speech praising America on the National Mall ahead of America’s 250th birthday, Behar tapped a soundbite of comedian Larry David’s hatred of America because of the UFC event at the White House.

To quote David:

“It was a travesty, yeah. What else can you say about it? It was embarrassing. I was embarrassed to be an American, yeah.”

Behar’s response:

“I think he’s right in many ways.”

Later in the segment, she added:

“Larry is embarrassed to be an American, in that way we should all be.”

Imagine how cranky these kooks will get when the Fourth of July throws 250th anniversary celebrations into high gear.

At least they can take solace from the rise of Democratic Socialism (a euphemism for communism), which Behar stoops to staggeringly moronic arguments to support.

The narrative pushed by the liberal media regarding the global warming hoax is the opposite of the truth. Yet kooks from Tinseltown have achieved a still more striking disconnect from reality by lacing leftist climate ideology with hatred of America and affection for our primary adversary, communist China.

To experience absolute moonbattery, sit in on a discussion between actors Edward Norton and Ted Danson. Via @BreitbartNews:

NORTON: China is on its way to being the first, petro-zero economy. They are going to be the first electro-superpower.

That must be why the air in Chinese cities is so breathable.

TED DANSON: Which we could have been. And now we’re gonna have to buy it from them when [Trump] goes away and we come to our senses. We won’t have that industry like China does.

America just doesn’t measure up to the communist regime that under its founder Mao Zedong killed more of its own people than any other in human history.

NORTON: No. And by the way, it’s both sides of the aisle. In the state of California, we have now the most regressive policy toward residential solar, distributed solar collection and storage… even under Gavin Newsom.

Not even Newsom is enough of a kook, despite the extensive economic damage his moonbattery has inflicted on the state.

The country as a whole earns even more contempt from Edward Norton. He continues:

We have this enduring narrative of American exceptionalism, like of America’s “alpha,” of America’s cultural superiority. … I don’t think people fully grasp the degree to which we’re going to ghettoize ourselves as an energy state, in terms of education, in terms of health. We’re not anywhere near the top, of what other people are experiencing. And if we embrace this idea of pride in regression, you where is that where is that going to take us? It’s not going to take us into a place that we’re happy about for our kids.

“Regression” is the opposite of “progress.” “Regression” is characterized by freedom, wealth, and national pride. “Progress” will make us like communist China except poorer, because in China economical means of generating electricity are allowed. The ChiComs build one coal power plant per week. If it were up to these malevolent screwballs, we would cook or shiver in the dark:
