Abolishing local police, as Democrats tried to do during the Black Lives Matter riots, has not worked out for them politically, because the public has not reacted favorably to the inevitably resulting explosion in violent crime. So until all police can be federalized, liberals will make do with purging police forces of anyone suspected of holding right-of-center political views.

The Chicago Police Department is conducting an internal investigation into a sergeant who voiced her support for the formation of a Turning Point USA chapter at an area high school.

TPUSA is not exactly an alt right fever swamp. It represents a moderate conservative viewpoint that appeals to students.

Chicago Police Department Sergeant Ammie Kessem, who’s also the 41st Ward Republican Committeeman in Chicago, voiced her support for the potential creation of a TPUSA chapter at William Howard Taft High School in Chicago on Dec. 9, stating on Facebook that several “brave students” are creating the high school chapter of the conservative group.

The leftists in charge have proven just how brave these students are by targeting Officer Kessem.

Kessem went on to say that conservatives in Chicago are often called “Nazis,” “White Supremists” and “outright ‘racists.’”

Worse yet, they are intimidated with investigations and their careers are often ruined. How else is the liberal establishment to maintain its iron grip on a city where the ideology it wants to impose has so conspicuously failed?

“I am certain these students realize that this will almost certainly be scrutinized by the administration at this school which seems to embrace the Marxist views of a substantial amount of the Chicago Teacher’s union members,” she continued.

These Marxist views — or at least the authoritarian tactics associated with them — are also embraced by the Chicago PD under ultraleft Mayor Lori Lightfoot. The department did not inform Kessem of its investigation into her Facebook post, which she made in her capacity as a private American citizen who presumably enjoys First Amendment rights.

Meanwhile, at the school:

“We were disturbed to learn that an organization promoting racial intolerance has been associated with our school,” [Assistant Principal Melissa] Hess tweeted. “We are a community built on respect and inclusion, and one that rejects any organization that would seek to discriminate on the basis of race, religion, gender, disability, sexual orientation, or anything else. … Please know that the staff and administration at Taft will never tolerate the formation of any group that does not support these values.”

Although TPUSA was not named directly — and is not racist, Islamophobic, sexist, et cetera, ad nauseam — it appears to be the target of this ominous rhetoric. Tolerant liberals never tolerate those they have denounced as intolerant.

University of Maryland criminal justice doctoral candidate Anat Kimchi passionately took the side of allegedly oppressed young black men against the legal system that sometimes punishes them when they break the law. Then she traveled to Chicago, the politics of which produced Jesse Jackson, Barack Obama, Louis Farrakhan, and Lori Lightfoot. There, she was stabbed in the back by a derelict described as a “slim Black male with long dreadlocks” and said to be in his 30s.

Her death went almost entirely unreported, probably because the media is controlled by people possessed of the same ideology that she presumably took to the grave with her. As noted earlier, they hold that crimes committed by nonwhites should be ignored.

An update on the oppressed victim of systemic racism who killed Anat Kimchi:

The possibly homeless man who fatally stabbed a Maryland woman in the Loop over the weekend has viciously attacked at least two other women in the Loop this month, according to CPD reports and a community alert from Area Three detectives. One of the other victims was beaten so badly, fire department personnel initially believed she had been shot in the head.

Yet, despite apparently knowing who the offender is and publicly stating that investigators have good images of the man, police did not release a single photo of the suspect to help the public identify him.

No doubt releasing a photo would be racist. That was why the Austin American-Statesman refused to release the description of a mass shooter who was still at large earlier this month; it might have been “harmful in perpetuating stereotypes.”

If only authorities were more interested in eradicating crime than in eradicating whiteness, Anat Kimchi might now be safe back in Maryland, wallowing contentedly in clueless moonbattery. But at least her tragic death might serve as what they used to call a “teachable moment.”

An accused serial burglar and thief has been sentenced to probation for a burglary in Lincoln Park last year — even though he was already on probation for two burglaries at the time of the alleged break-in.

Jonathan Hernandez, 26, pleaded guilty to one count of theft in exchange for an 18-month probation sentence in the latest case, according to court records. He has been arrested seventeen times in Chicago since March 2014, according to CPD records.

Young as he is, Hernandez is a cinch to clear 100 arrests in his career, provided the government can keep law-abiding homeowners disarmed — and Chicago has repressive gun laws.

Among the bullet points on his résumé, Hernandez has been charged with threatening to shoot an off-duty cop whose garage he was allegedly burglarizing.

That Hernandez is still running around loose confirms that burglary is effectively legal in Lori Lightfoot’s Chicago.

But don’t try opening your business in violation of lockdown restrictions, or you might get in trouble.

The hypocrisy of Denver Mayor Michael Hancock is so glaring, not even the Washington Post could help but report on it:

Hancock, a … vice president of the National Conference of Democratic Mayors, has been an advocate for coronavirus restrictions. He has pushed residents to wear masks and last week warned that another stay-at-home order might be needed if cases keep rising in Colorado, which has seen covid-related hospitalizations rise in the past week by almost 13 percent.

He has also been vocal about limiting holiday get-togethers. At a virtual news conference on Friday, he suggested residents buy a small turkey and celebrate with their immediate family only. “Maybe next year we can all be together again,” he said. “I’m asking, I’m urging, I’m pleading with everyone. Please stay home.”

But just 30 minutes after tweeting his latest plea to avoid travel on Wednesday morning, Hancock boarded a flight, KUSA reported.

Off he flew to Mississippi, to visit family for Thanksgiving.

He got caught, so he apologized. There, all better.

As with the mendacious Gavin Newsom, Hancock’s apology appears not to be heartfelt:

Despite the mayor’s apology, [Mike] Strott, his spokesman, argued to the Denver Post that Hancock didn’t see his travel as contradicting his advice to residents.

Strott argues that Hancock will “follow health and safety guidelines upon his return.”

Quintessential COVID-19 tyrant Andrew Cuomo also had plans for today, but they blew up in his face in time for him to ostentatiously cancel them:

Cuomo narrowly skirted putting another[*] elderly New Yorker in danger of dying from COVID-19 after he decided to cancel Thanksgiving dinner plans with his 89-year-old mother.

*Cuomo killed presumably thousands of elderly New Yorkers by forcing nursing homes to accept 6,300 coronavirus patients.

This is after getting widely slammed for announcing plans to have Thanksgiving dinner with his two daughters and his elderly mother, TODAY reported.

This came on the heels of Cuomo, basically, ordering New Yorkers not to celebrate the holiday with anyone but household members.

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi violated lockdown orders to get their hair done, which sounds like something a Kardashian would do. Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney sneaked out of state to dine at a restaurant in neighboring Maryland because eateries back home were closed to indoor customers. When Washington Mayor Muriel Bowser and members of her staff traveled to Delaware to celebrate Joe Biden’s presidential victory, they violated Covid quarantine requirements. And Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California, who tweeted in July that “wearing masks in public should be mandatory,” has been spotted several times in public not wearing a mask while she was indoors and chatting face to face with others.

Notice that hypocritical coronavirus tyrants are virtually always members of the Party of Coercion, i.e., Democrats.

These are the same politicians who had no shame about gathering at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta in July to eulogize the late Rep. John Lewis even while millions of grieving Americans were barred from giving their own loved ones proper funerals.

Even as it has forced regular people to wear masks, the ChiCom virus has taken the mask off Democrat officials, revealing their hypocrisy and predilection for arbitrary tyranny.

Chicago’s Columbus purge was the most violent—49 police officers were hurt there in July after coming under attack from rioters attempting to topple a statue in Grant Park. Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot ordered all three of the city’s Columbus statues to be taken down in the dead of night…

Due to the same preference for savagery over civilization that causes them to champion Black Lives Matter and Antifa rioters against property owners and the police, progressives would prefer to cancel Columbus Day in favor of Indigenous People’s Day, the point of which would be to wallow in neurotic guilt and hatred of our own civilization. Don’t let them do it. A society that doesn’t take pride in itself sickens and dies.

Pelosi visited a San Francisco hair salon on Monday afternoon for a wash and blow-out, despite local ordinances keeping salons closed amid the coronavirus pandemic, Fox News has learned.

In security footage obtained by Fox News, and timestamped Monday at 3:08 p.m. Pacific Time, the California powerhouse is seen walking through eSalon in San Francisco with wet hair, and without a mask over her mouth or nose.

The stylist serving her was of course wearing a mask, as Pelosi frequently lectures us to do and as is required in San Francisco.

Salons in San Francisco were allowed to open the following day — but only for outdoor service.

The stylist who was summoned to serve Pelosi rents a chair from salon owner Erica Kious. Like most business owners, Kious is not enjoying the increasingly ludicrous COVID-19 lockdowns.

“It was a slap in the face that she went in, you know, that she feels that she can just go and get her stuff done while no one else can go in, and I can’t work,” Kious told Fox News, adding that she “can’t believe” the speaker didn’t have a mask on. …

“We have been shut down for so long, not just me, but most of the small businesses and I just can’t – it’s a feeling – a feeling of being deflated, helpless and honestly beaten down,” Kious said.

However, big corporations like Amazon may love the lockdowns — and they are the ones in a position to buy favors from politicians.

Kious is a single mother with two small children who relies on the salon for income. She installed plexiglass partitions and ensured that all chairs were 6′ apart, but they still wouldn’t let her open.

“The fact that they did this, and she came in, it’s like a slap in the face.”

The insult comes on top of significant injury inflicted by the liberals in charge:

“No one can last anymore,” she said. “I have also lost 60 percent of my clientele because everyone is fleeing the city.”

Kious said that the area where her salon is located has turned into “a third world country,” saying that “every other storefront is completely vacant and shut down and boarded up.”

“And because of the shutdown, and the store closures, we’ve lost people, my clients, and my employees, and that is due to the politics in San Francisco,” she said, adding that the homeless population is “everywhere” and “defecating” all over the city.

She expects to shut down for good within 1 to 2 months. Maybe she can secure a position as Nancy Pelosi’s personal stylist.

Two migrant buses from Del Rio, Texas, arrived near Vice President Kamala Harris’ residence at the Naval Observatory in Washington, D.C., Thursday morning.

Between 75 and 100 people who were picked up in Eagle Pass, Texas, were sent by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott. The group includes migrants from Venezuela, Uruguay, Colombia and Mexico. Multiple migrants, asked by Fox News Digital, said they think the border is open, contrary to what Harris said Sunday during an interview.

Everyone knows the border is open, including grasping peasants in Third World countries thousands of miles away. The Biden Regime has gone out of its way to make it obvious in order to draw in vast numbers to displace us from our own country. This is treason on a scale that makes Vidkun Quisling look like a patriot.

This latest convoy of buses arrived just hours after Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis followed through on his similar promise to drop off illegal immigrants in progressive states, sending two planes full of migrants to Martha’s Vineyard on Wednesday.

Martha’s Vineyard is to our liberal ruling class what Versailles was to the court of Louis XVI.

If only the illegal aliens could be dumped onto the White House lawn. But unlike our country, that has a wall around it.

The Texas student who allegedly opened fire at his high school, injuring four people, including a teacher, was sprung from jail on Thursday afternoon…

That was fast. The widely witnessed shooting occurred Wednesday.

Timothy George Simpkins, 18, who attends Timberview High School in Arlington, will report to home confinement after he posted $75,000 bond at Tarrant County Jail, news station WFAA reported.

Normally, $75,000 bail would be low for shooting four people. But then, Simpkins was only charged with aggravated assault rather than attempted murder. Because of his fortuitous skin color, Simpkins’s shooting spree is a civil rights issue.

Civil rights attorney Kim T. Cole, who spoke on behalf of the family, blasted reporters outside the jail for portraying the dangerous incident as a “standard-issue school shooting.”

This one is different, because Simpkins was allegedly bullied for driving an expensive car and wearing pricey shoes. He is the victim here, and the victim is always right — or at least, victims who can check certain boxes are always right.

Calvin Pettitt, a 25-year-old English teacher who jumped in to break up the fight, was shot in the back, suffering broken ribs and a collapsed lung, according to police and his family.

Pettitt does not appear to check the right boxes. He may be a racist who indulges in “white savior” complex. This is what happens when people are allowed to read To Kill a Mockingbird, which wokesters have denounced for facilitating the thought crime of white saviorism.

Also shot were Zacchaeus Selby, Eyimofe Olawepo, and Pariesa Altma. One of these is a 15-year-old boy in critical condition.

Meanwhile, Simpkins parties with relatives to celebrate his release.

At least it didn’t happen in Chicago. A Soros-backed prosecutor might have refused to press any charges at all.

Leftists promote Black Lives Matter by falsely conflating its ideology with opinions most everyone agrees with. Who doesn’t think blacks should be treated fairly? Who doesn’t think police brutality is bad?

As a rule though, blacks are already treated fairly in the USA, and police brutality is not a widespread problem. Who would you rather be, a black in the USA or any regular citizen in Russia, China, or Zimbabwe? Whose police would you rather be arrested by?

What Black Lives Matter actually stands for (and has athletes taking a knee for) is less anodyne, as can be confirmed by listening to the “mostly peaceful protesters” themselves rather than the spin doctors who empower them.

For example, on the day following the devastating looting in Chicago Sunday night, protesters posed with a large sign proclaiming, “OUR FUTURES HAVE BEEN LOOTED FROM US… LOOT BACK.”

Also on Monday, Chicago Black Lives Matter organizer Ariel Atkins encouraged further looting by characterizing it as “reparations” for historical racial grievances.

To openly advocate looting is not moderate or even civilized. Neither is demanding that whites give up their homes:
