While media promotion of Black Lives Matter was in overdrive, authorities mostly stood down as radical leftists rioted about 570 times over a 3-month period. In contrast, those on the right get arrested for allegedly thinking about rioting:

Thirty-one people affiliated with the white nationalist group Patriot Front were arrested near an annual LGBTQ+ event Saturday in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, police said.

The suspects were booked on suspicion of conspiracy to riot, Coeur d’Alene Police Chief Lee White said at an afternoon news conference.

Matt Walsh ought to follow up “What Is a Woman?” with “What Is a White Nationalist?” In this case, some of the white nationalists involved are probably FBI agents trying to engineer another Reichstag moment. The January 6 Committee couldn’t preempt prime time forever, and the feds need to prove they can do better than the farcical Gretchen Whitmer kidnapping ploy.

White said police were made aware in recent days that a number of groups planned to disrupt Pride in the Park, an annual event highlighting civil rights struggles for the LGBTQ+ communities.

We are to believe that the privileged identity group atop the Cultural Marxist Pyramid of Power is oppressed. Preserving that narrative has become increasingly difficult as militant LGBT activists bully society into conforming to their grotesque ideology.

The SPLC also identifies the Family Research Council as a hate group; that’s what inspired LGBT terrorist Floyd Lee Corkins’ foiled mass shooting. It has listed mild-mannered moderate Ben Carson in its “Extremist Files,” and has denounced the blog Jihad Watch — which exists to draw attention to the violent extremism of Islamic radicals — for “violent extremism.”

In the mainstream media, SPLC is regarded as an objective expert source. Keep that in mind before taking anything the media presents at face value.

DeSantis has been slammed by critics in the media since the start of the pandemic over his opposition to government-imposed mask and vaccine mandates. In 2020, DeSantis was accused by a Democratic politician of going on a “killing spree” for opposing mask mandates and a Vanity Fair headline from September of this year referred to the governor as an “angel of death.”

At the same time Florida reported the lowest amount of new cases in the country per capita, coronavirus cases are surging in many states where strict lockdown orders were issued by Democratic governors.

Michigan, where Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer imposed some of the most controversial restrictions in the nation during the height of the pandemic, leads the nation in daily coronavirus cases per capita.

Gretchen “DAISNAID” Whitmer infamously forbade Michiganders from buying garden seeds because Covid. Like Andrew Cuomo and former Pennsylvania Health Secretary (currently the historic first female four-star admiral despite being male) Richard I mean “Rachel” Levine, she killed people who were mostly done paying taxes anyway by forcing nursing homes to accept Covid patients.

Freedom works. Tyranny does not work, except for the tyrants. Freedom is the exception and tyranny the rule because it is the natural state of affairs for those in charge to seize ever more power at the expense of everyone else. Society is only healthy when that power is limited. It is only limited when the population cherishes freedom enough to limit it. We will only cherish freedom sufficiently when we stop listening to tyrants’ lackeys — that is, to the liberal establishment media.

Parts of the country are running out of gas thanks to the cyberattack on the Colonial Pipeline, which normally transports 2.5 million barrels of fuel a day, comprising 45% of the fuel supply for the East Coast. This provides a mild taste of what Democrat rule has in store for us.

Democrats don’t like pipelines or the precious fuel that flows through them, so you could hardly expect them to take this crisis with the seriousness it deserves. Evil elf Jennifer Granholm, who farcically (and corruptly) serves as Energy Secretary, squeaks inanely that there is no gasoline shortage but only a “supply crunch.” She conveniently blames Covid for gas prices having already been sharply on the rise around the country as a result of Biden choking off oil production.

If a pipeline has been up and running for a while, you notice how valuable it is when it gets taken down. The Colonial Pipeline is not the first to be sidelined by evildoers since Biden took power. Among his first flurry of executive orders, Biden killed the Keystone XL pipeline out of sheer moonbattery, throwing thousands out of work.

It is hard to appreciate the loss of the many things we would have had if not for Democrats. The cost of letting them take power is incalculable.

Speaking of Democrats and pipelines,

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer threatened to seize profits from Canadian pipeline company Enbridge Inc. if the company continues to operate a pipeline through the Great Lakes after a Wednesday deadline.

Gauleiter Gretchen wants the pipeline completely shut down, so its permit was revoked. Whether Michigan has the authority to shut down the pipeline is being argued in court, and Enbridge wants to keep the energy flowing in the meantime. The pipeline supplies refineries in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Ontario, and Quebec in addition to Michigan.

Officials in Ottawa say closing the pipeline would cut off almost half the supply used to make gasoline, jet fuel and home heating oil for residents in central Canada. The closure could lead to higher fuel costs and thousands of job losses in refineries, officials said.

You can’t expect a Democrat to care about the jobs destroyed by the War on Energy.

A treaty prevents pipelines between the US and Canada from being closed except during an emergency. The only emergency here is Cruella Whitmer’s dangerous heavy-handedness. Yet Biden and Granholm refuse to intervene.

Michigan has said the pipeline poses an environmental risk and that any spill from it would threaten the Great Lakes. Enbridge has said that section of the 68-year-old pipeline has never leaked and that it is taking steps to protect the lakes after negotiating a plan with former Gov. Rick Snyder to encase the pipes in a tunnel below the lake bed.

This is not about leaks. It is about ideology. Like white skin, pipelines are inherently bad according to Democrat ideology. That’s why they will squeeze them out of existence. If you like the “supply crunch” caused by the Colonial Pipeline troubles, you will love America’s future under Democrat rule.

Under Gretchen Whitmer, Michigan has imposed notably repressive Covid rules. At one point, even selling garden seeds was restricted in the name of the ChiCom virus. This authoritarian approach has been a conspicuous failure. Michigan’s Covid numbers have been the worst in the country. Insanely yet unsurprisingly, Whitmer is doubling down on her failed policy of repression. She wants to make her emergency rules permanent:

State bureaucrats are moving to impose permanent regulations that would mandate the following and more on all Michigan businesses: mask wearing whenever employees are within six feet of someone else, daily health screenings, extensive record keeping, and keeping a “COVID-19 safety coordinator” on-site. Retail stores, personal care services, and other businesses open to the public would have to become the mask police: They would be required to make all customers wear masks, vaccinated or not.

Many of these rules are based on mandates put in place last spring by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. As such, many are based on outdated scientific knowledge about how COVID-19 spreads.

For example, they mandate excessive cleaning of surfaces. Contaminated surfaces are not a significant threat for spreading Covid.

The rules make no accommodations for vaccinations. The word vaccine doesn’t even appear in the rules.

Michiganders who took the vaccine to get Big Government’s boot off their neck have been duped.

Other mandates in the proposed rules may be impossible for businesses to comply with.

You can’t expect leftists to regret businesses being destroyed by their dictates. The fewer businesses, the higher the unemployment rate, the more government dependency, the more votes for Democrats. This explains a great deal of Democrat economic policy. Minimum wage is the most obvious example.

With the help of the bureaucracy, Whitmer effectively rules the state as a dictator. Legislative approval for her emergency powers has expired. She doesn’t care.

The Mackinac Center Legal Foundation filed a lawsuit on behalf of three medical providers who had been shut down, and a patient who had been denied care, and the Michigan Supreme Court eventually ruled that the governor had acted illegally and could not extend these emergency orders indefinitely.

Whitmer, nevertheless, maintained unilateral control.

She circumvented the ruling by having the state Department of Health and Human Services reinstate most of the mandates that had been invalidated.

Other state departments, such as the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA), followed suit with their own emergency rules that mirrored the governor’s original orders.

No wonder tyrannical technocrats like Anthony Fauci bark that the right to bear arms is a “public health issue,” as moonbats hug their Dr Fauci pillows in delight. Laws, constitutions, et cetera go out the window when public health is at stake.

The permanent rules being discussed are being put out by MIOSHA.

If Michigan joins New York in establishing Covid concentration camps, MIOSHA may soon oversee its own gulag archipelago. It is to Whitmer what the NKVD was to Vladimir Lenin.

In 2020, MIOSHA went after gas stations for employees wearing face coverings inadequately, roofers who were not social distancing, and forklift drivers working outside and not wearing masks. It has issued dubious fines for transgressions, including to the city of Port Huron, even though the inspector admitted he didn’t see any unmasked workers, but simply had a “general feeling” that masks “were not being taken seriously.” The agency can fine or put companies out of business or even put people in jail.

Across the Detroit River, Covid tyrants in Ontario have gotten pushback from local police. Let’s hope Michigan police are too American to participate in enforcing Whitmer’s decrees.

They call it the Covid Conundrum. Why is it that the states that lock down the hardest to fight the ChiCom virus have the highest infection rates?

The answer could not possibly be that lockdowns make the situation worse, as many have known for some time. So the media depletes the dregs of its credibility by pushing improbable theories to explain why Covid is going away in relatively free states like Texas.

Meanwhile, the worst state for Covid is Michigan, where Cruella Whitmer has inflicted all manner of arbitrary decrees, at one point even banning the purchase of garden seeds.

A top aide to Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer vacationed in Florida after the governor urged residents against traveling amid worst-in-the-nation Covid transmission rates in the state.

Tricia Foster, the governor’s chief operating officer, posted photos to Facebook of herself vacationing in Siesta Key earlier this week.

The compulsion to show off on Fakebook overwhelms even the survival instinct. Foster was put in charge of the vaccine rollout strategy, so she ought to have some clue regarding coronavirus politics.

“This is a partisan attack from a garbage white nationalist website,” [Whitmer] spokesman Bobby Leddy said in a statement.

I should have guessed that white nationalist fiends were responsible for exposing this valiant public servant to the ridicule of the little people. The reference is apparently to Breitbart.

Michigan has led the nation in Covid-19 cases for seven consecutive weeks, and is now reporting over 7,000 coronavirus infections per day.

This comes after a solid year of some of the most draconian Covid restrictions in the country. Yet again we see that tyranny is an end in itself, and ineffective to serve any other end.

Whitmer frets that people might travel to the free state Florida and bring back Covid. Florida has been demonized by authoritarians as a result of DeSantis handling the virus much more effectively than the moonbat tyrants running states like California, New York, and Michigan. The media became enraged; 60 Minutes launched a smear job at DeSantis so defamatory that it blew up in their faces. The Whitmer Administration is safe from 60 Minutes smear jobs, but not from the incompetence and arrogance that characterize liberal rule.

Erstwhile golden boy Andrew Cuomo has been thrown to the sharks. Both of New York’s senators have called upon him to resign over accusations that he behaves toward women with the same bullying boorishness as he does toward everyone else. Boxed into a corner, Joe Biden has been forced to finally take a stand — sort of.

Biden told Democrat apparatchik George Stephanopoulos that Cuomo needs to be investigated, that if his accusers are found to be telling the truth he should resign, that there could be criminal prosecution, and that “A woman should be presumed to be telling the truth.”

Needless to say, this does not apply to Tara Reade, who has made a credible sexual assault allegation against Biden involving digital penetration. This is more serious than the Cuomo #MeToo accusations, which gradually escalated from tasteless banter to groping.

Considering that only a few weeks ago, Cuomo was the “Love Guv,” fawningly promoted by the liberal establishment media, why are the long knives out for him over #MeToo allegations, when the titular POTUS is probably guilty of worse?

Because the issue is never the issue with Democrats. Cuomo has been challenged from even farther left by New York Attorney General Letitia James, who chose to make an issue of what previously only conservatives seemed to know: that Cuomo is responsible for thousands of unnecessary deaths as a result of forcing nursing homes to accept COVID patients.

This is why Cuomo — only recently a leading candidate for US Attorney General — is now a gangrenous limb that must be severed before the infection can spread. Other Democrat governors have killed seniors with the same homicidal policy, including Gavin Newsom of California, Tom Wolf of Pennsylvania, Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan, and Phil Murphy of New Jersey.

The plan is to make Cuomo walk the plank, put the radical leftist Letitia James on track to replace him, and hope that everyone forgets about unnecessary nursing home deaths. Sacrificing an individual is no problem for people who believe in achieving power through collectivist ideology.

This would blow up in their faces if the media had the integrity to ask, “What about Tara Reade?”

Unfortunately, this is no joke. The undercover agent used a sob story to trick the owner into noncompliance so that he could be busted.

According to Barrett, an individual approached Charlie’s Bar and Grill in Potterville, saying he was “really lonely and asked if he could have something to eat”:

The restaurateur “felt bad for the man and served him a meal,” Barrett said.

Loneliness is an increasingly serious issue thanks to the lockdowns. It can lead to severe depression and suicide.

A few days later, the liquor license of Charlie’s Bar and Grill was suspended after allegedly violating Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s (D-MI) lockdown orders.

“Nobody in the Liquor Control Enforcement Division is missing a paycheck right now, wondering how they’ll get through Christmas,” Barrett noted, unlike many business owners and employees affected by the mandates.

Last I knew, Michigan was part of America. However, rights have been rescinded there, due to the calamitous confluence of COVID-19 hysteria and Democrat rule.

Whitmer’s coronavirus orders, issued via executive order, were ruled unconstitutional by the Michigan Supreme Court in October. Within days, the Department of Health and Human Services reissued many of the same orders.

Courts are to be ignored when they are not helping to impose left-wing authoritarianism.

Data scientist Sarah Eaglesfield provides an explanation for why this area produced so many votes for Joe Biden. The largest cluster vote in the county was from a psychiatric hospital:

The largest cluster of votes received in Wayne County was from the Walter P. Reuther Psychiatric Hospital, which provides treatment, care and services to adults with severe mental illness. …

Given that the psychiatric facility in question specifically states that it caters for those with severe mental illness it should be investigated what mental capacity these voters had, and whether these ballots were potentially abused. It is my understanding that there is no capacity test for voting in Michigan, although state law allows for one to be applied.

The odds of Democrat Governor Gretchen Whitmer cooperating with measures to prevent people with severe mental illnesses from voting are remote. Democrats probably have more of a lock on this voting block even than they do on felons.

There are limits to how far people will let Democrats push them. Monica Palmer and William C. Hartmann, the two Republican members of Michigan’s Wayne County Board of Canvassers who were bullied into certifying the dubious election, have signed an affidavit rescinding their votes to certify:

Hartmann said in the affidavit that he observed about 71% of Detroit’s 134 Absent Voter Counting Boards “were left unbalanced and many unexplained.” …

The pair said state officials indicated they would not honor an earlier compromise to audit the ballots, which contributed to their decision to rescind. It was unclear if their decision to rescind could change their earlier vote to certify.

Making an agreement with state officials with Gretchen Whitmer in charge was a mistake. Let’s hope they rectified it in time.

The racially premised denunciations and threats against Palmer and Hartmann extended to family members. William M. Davis, a Detroit police commissioner, even threatened the canvassers with “ethics charges,” because he was not about “to sit around and let white people take advantage of black people” by letting them challenge election fraud in Detroit.

Kudos to Palmer and Hartmann for having the courage to rescind their vote when it became clear state officials would not honor their promise to audit the election. Regardless of the overall outcome, pushback matters. Without it, Democrats will cheat even more arrogantly next time around.

We are used to judges helping to impose moonbattery in California, as when gay US District Judge Vaugh Walker overruled Prop 8 to take a wrecking ball to marriage. But Gavin Newsom has gotten so carried away that a judge is acting as a brake:

Sutter County Superior Court Judge Sarah Heckman issued a preliminary order for Newsom to stop making executive orders that could contradict state laws after determining one of his orders was “an unconstitutional exercise of legislative power.”

Her order prevents Newsom “from exercising any power under the California Emergency Services Act which amends, alters, or changes existing statutory law or makes new statutory law or legislative policy.”

The pushback against Newsom’s COVID-19 tyranny unsurprisingly was initiated by the handful of Republicans remaining in the erstwhile Golden State.

Republican state Assemblymen James Gallagher and Kevin Kiley challenged Newsom, saying he was overstepping state law with his executive orders.

The problem is not necessarily particular decrees; it is that our system of government requires the legislative branch to make the laws, not the executive. Someone needs to get word of this to other Democrat governors who have exploited the ChiCom virus to set themselves up as regional dictators (Andrew Cuomo, Gretchen Whitmer, Phil Murphy, Kate Brown, JB Pritzker, Janet Mills, et al).

Let’s hope the Supreme Court provides the same pushback if Biden prevails and his handlers try to make good on his threat of a “dark winter.” Unfortunately, if Democrats follow through on another threat, they will pack the court with rubber stamp leftists and turn it into a superlegislature that will render future voting futile.

As in Whitmer’s Michigan in its darkest days, even when stores are open, areas selling goods deemed by the government to be “nonessential” are sealed off.
