New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) is moving nearly 2,000 border crossers and illegal aliens from Floyd Bennett Field into a Brooklyn high school’s gymnasium — forcing students into virtual classes.

As we learned during the Covid shutdowns, that means students will not be learning until the weather improves and they are allowed back in school.

James Madison High School Principal Jodie Cohen notified parents, students, and faculty that they would have to go virtual on Wednesday to accommodate the border crossers and illegal aliens and their gym being turned into a migrant shelter.

The symbolism of Americans sacrificed to the illegal aliens brought in to displace them is underscored by the school being named after a Founding Father.

This isn’t the first time New York students picked up part of the tab for the Great Displacement:

At the beginning of the school year, around 21,000 illegal immigrant children flooded New York City schools for the first day of classes, forcing one school to place kids in a different facility because it reached building capacity. …

Adams also cut the city’s education budget by more than $1 billion over the next two years to deal with illegal immigration.

Back in reality, eating your way to a politically favored “body type” makes you more prone to type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, metabolic syndrome, fatty liver diseases, some cancers, breathing problems, osteoarthritis, gout, diseases of the gallbladder and pancreas, kidney disease, pregnancy problems, fertility problems, sexual function problems, and mental health problems, according to the NIH.

Adams has close ties to the hotel industry. The union representing 31,000 hotel workers — the Hotel Trades Council — was one of the first unions to endorse his campaign for mayor in March 2021.

The privileged few with a seat at the table actually benefit from Democrat rule. Otherwise, it would have been overthrown by now.

It was unclear Monday if the fat hotel contract is part of the estimated total $12 billion that Mayor Eric Adams has said the migrant crisis could cost the city over three years — absent additional financial aid from Washington and Albany.

Forget Albany; not even leftists like Kathy Hochul can wring this kind of money out of taxpayers, many of whom have been escaping New York anyway. The federal government will step in. It doesn’t have the money either, being over $33 TRILLION in debt, largely thanks to Biden. But it can print more. That way, everyone who worked hard to set aside savings gets to pay for criminals from faraway countries to be treated like royalty in New York City hotels.

Local leaders have begun imposing restrictions in pursuit of these malevolent objectives. For example, in NYC,

Eric Adams announced that the city will place caps on the amount of meat and dairy served by city institutions, such as schools and prisons.

Kooks like Adams need to pick up the pace in the race to impose poverty and tyranny in the name of the weather. Europe is pulling ahead of them:

Last year City Hall said it would remove any homeless people who behaved in an ‘unsafe’ manner from the subway, but reportedly dropped the plan because the shelters where it planned to house them are full of the migrants and asylum-seekers pouring into the city, most from Latin America and Africa, and often bussed in from southern states after crossing the Mexican border.

Not long ago, Eric Adams proclaimed New York would continue to be a sanctuary city. Looks like he has changed his mind amidst the predictable tidal wave of illegal aliens.

The legislation signed by the New York mayor bars individuals from being discriminated against for their height and weight for access to employment or public housing.

Affirmative Action hires can still get fired, but they have to push the envelope farther still:

The Post knocked on the door of [Shellyne Rodriguez’s] Bronx apartment Tuesday morning — a day after she made headlines for flipping out on pro-life students at Hunter College.

“Get the f–k away from my door, or I’m gonna chop you up with this machete!” the manic adjunct art professor shouted from behind her closed door just moments after veteran reporter Reuven Fenton identified himself.

Seconds later, Rodriguez barged out and alarmingly put the blade to the reporter’s neck.

The reporter wasted no time getting out of there, but Rodriguez followed, brandishing the machete, shrieking,

“Get the f–k off the block! Get the f–k out of here, yo!”

She chased him all the way to his car. No worries about police interfering; this happened in New York City under Eric Adams.

However, the optics were bad enough for Rodriguez to be viewed by educrats as a liability to the cause of moonbattery, so she was fired. She may turn up in DC next time Biden has an open cabinet position.

In the meantime, she is suing the NYPD for oppressing her during the Black Lives Matter riots, in which she unsurprisingly participated. She says she suffered nerve damage when police had to restrain her with zip ties.

The lawsuit adds that the injuries also impacted “her ability to make art.”

So she won’t be hurting moneywise. A jury of NYC liberals will see to that by looting themselves on her behalf.

The iconic hotel is a located in the heart of America’s largest city, near Grand Central Terminal.

The Roosevelt has been the backdrop for a string of Hollywood films — including “Maid in Manhattan,” “Malcolm X,” “Wall Street,” “The French Connection,” “The Irishman” and “Man on a Ledge.”

It was also the setting for Guy Lombardo’s New Year’s Eve ballroom performances for three decades until 1959.

Now the hotel — which was shut down during Covid hysteria and is owned by Pakistan International Airlines — features in America’s self-imposed demise:

Migrants at the center will have access to legal, medical and reconnection services, and can also be placed in a shelter or humanitarian relief center if needed.

Use of the hotel to facilitate the invasion will cost a reported $225 million over 3 years. Good thing American taxpayers still have plenty of money — for the time being.

Beginning later this week, the Roosevelt Hotel will open up 175 rooms for children and families, until it is scaled to approximately 850 rooms, the release said.

An additional 100 to 150 rooms will be reserved for migrants before transitioning to other locations.

Never in history has an invasion force received such red carpet treatment from a conquered country. Maybe they will appreciate our servility and treat the vanquished population mercifully. Then again, maybe they will have the sense to despise us for it.
