One of the many ways colleges have of molding the attitudes of students is selectively inviting paid speakers like Jalil Muntaqim (a.k.a. Anthony Bottom). SUNY Brockport bills him as a “political prisoner” because he was jailed after participating in the murder of two police officers as a member of the Black Liberation Army.

The College at Brockport, State University of New York, is hosting an event titled, “History of Black Resistance, U.S. Political Prisoners & Genocide: A Conversation with Jalil Muntaqim” on April 6. “Jalil is author of the seminal work, ‘We Are Our Own Liberators,’” a description of the event states. “He gained his freedom in fall 2019, and currently resides in Rochester, NY. He is a member of Citizens Action Network and People Liberation Program, as well as a grandfather, father, mentor to many, and loving human being.”

Inviting him as a speaker will help this maniac to be a mentor to many more — just what we need in the age of Black Lives Matter.

Ever wonder were all that money earmarked for DIE (Diversity, Inclusion, Equity) goes? Here’s an example:

Muntaqim has been invited to speak under a grant for “Promoting Excellence in Diversity.” Additionally, the convicted cop killer is set to be paid a little over $1,000 for the event, according to the university.

Muntaqim and a fellow BLA goon shot NYPD officers Waverly Jones and Joseph A. Piagentini in the back 1971.

Piagentini pleaded for his life and told the gunmen that he had a wife and children, at which point Muntaqim and his associate took his service pistol and fired several more shots. Piagentini was shot 22 times and died while being transported to a Harlem hospital.

No doubt Muntaqim features that at the top of his résumé, to help him land lucrative speaking gigs.

The Black Liberation Army was a black supremacist organization responsible for the murders at least 10 police officers. Former BLA member Assata Shakur played a role in the murder of New Jersey State Trooper Werner Foerster in 1973. She escaped from prison and received asylum from Cuba.

Assata Shakur (born Joanne Deborah Byron) is now a goddess in the moonbat pantheon, worshiped by Black Lives Matter movement, college educrats, and the kooks running New York City. It shouldn’t be long before Biden issues her a pardon so that she can come home and make a nice living speaking on college campuses.

Pitching the speech, Brockport does not describe Muntaqim as a terrorist, a cop killer, or even a black supremacist, but as an “NAACP activist” and “political prisoner.”

This is why the death penalty is necessary. Given time, liberals will free the worst of the worst so as to bestow honors and money upon them.

When the university received a little backlash, it predictably hid behind the usual “we believe in freedom of speech” rhetoric. Sure, that’s why next week they are going to invite David Duke.

Muntaqim has expressed no remorse and won’t even apologize to Piagentini’s widow. SUNY Brockton declines to speak to her. Dianne Piagentini isn’t a revered personage like Jalil Muntaqim.

Everyone knows who George Floyd was, yet you won’t hear much about Edward Bronstein, who suffered a nearly identical demise. Bronstein was not a Career Criminal of Color, so his death is of no use to leftists.

The Los Angeles Times describes his fate:

Two years after a man died in police custody after being detained as a DUI suspect, attorneys for his family have obtained a video showing his last moments as California Highway Patrol officers hold him and forcibly draw his blood as he repeatedly tells them, “I can’t breathe.”

Talk about famous last words.

The video may have been taken for training purposes. Authorities had been keeping it hidden, but a judge released it.

On March 31, 2020, 2 months prior to the martyrdom of Saint George Floyd, Bronstein was pulled over for suspected driving under the influence on the 5 Freeway and taken to the Altadena station.

Once there, officers tried to draw his blood to measure Bronstein’s alcohol level. He refused. …

Officers then flip him onto the ground, at which point, he shouts, “I’ll do it willingly! I’ll do it willingly!”

Additional officers then surround him, holding him down with their body weight as he repeatedly shouts in distress. After nearly a minute of being pinned, he says, “I can’t breathe!”

After Bronstein stills, another minute passes and officers continue the blood draw. When they realize he is not responding and they try to revive him, one calls his name and slaps the side of his head while he remains face-down on the ground. Eventually, he is turned over and an officer asks for oxygen and to perform CPR.

Too late. They had been slapping a dead man.

Unlike George Floyd, Bronstein was not killed by fentanyl. It could have been meth though.

A Los Angeles County coroner’s office report declared Bronstein’s cause of death “undetermined.” The agency attributed it to “acute methamphetamine, intoxication during restraint by law enforcement.”

It is not unusual for people high on fentanyl, meth, or similar drugs to die while being restrained by police. Medical experts call this “excited delirium.”

George Floyd’s death led to hundreds of declared riots and $billions in property damage, because it was exploited by the media/Democrats to advance the leftist agenda. Fortunately, Edward Bronstein was white, so his death is unlikely to result in even a single looted store.

An analysis of the numbers shows that 96.1 percent of homicide suspects arrested in New York City were either black, Hispanic or Asian. Additionally, 93.8 percent of robbery suspects were non-whites, 94.9 percent of rape suspects arrested were not white, and 97.8 percent of shooting suspects arrested in 2021 were non-whites.

The only way to achieve equity is to abandon the racist practice of arresting people on the basis of evidence that they committed a crime. If Affirmative Action could put Kamala Harris a heartbeat away from the presidency, it can achieve racial justice regarding arrests. To compensate for past injustice, we need a moratorium on arresting nonwhites.

Just as traffic cameras are racist, so too are traffic stops by the police. Therefore, Seattle is severely restricting them. The inevitable increase in crime is unimportant; imposing equity is the primary concern of those with power.

Seattle Police Department interim Chief Adrian Diaz announced sweeping new policies that ban many non-criminal traffic stops. The move is framed around equity concerns, with the chief arguing that because not everyone can afford to pay the traffic violation fines, they must not be enforced. …

Under the new policies, SPD will no longer treat several violations as the primary reason to engage in a traffic stop. They include expired or missing registration, which is sometimes a clue that a car is stolen.

Although class rhetoric is employed, the progressive campaign to undermine public safety is rooted in critical race theory.

These policies came from a working group convened by Seattle Inspector General Lisa Judge, at the behest of Diaz. Judge is a progressive activist who doesn’t trust police officers.

Even as crime rates skyrocket, the BLM-inspired War on Police continues.

In May 2021, Judge called on Diaz to end all low-level traffic stops because they are, she argues, especially dangerous for Black motorists.

Judge quacks moronically about “root causes,” “institutional racism,” “subconscious bias,” and “racial fairness” to justify her absurd and dangerous objectives.

As leftists impose their lunatic ideology, they render America unsafe for anyone of any color except criminals.

Cleveland Browns defensive lineman Malik McDowell was completely naked while he was being arrested on Monday … new video, obtained by TMZ Sports, shows.

The arrest took place in Deerfield Beach, Florida.

McDowell, who had cuffs on his wrists and shackles around his ankles in the clip, appeared to be very agitated with cops, writhing on the ground nearly every time an officer got near him.

Good thing he didn’t die of a fentanyl overdose. We could have hundreds more riots on our hands.

The police were called after McDowell was seen wandering naked near a school.

Officers say when they found him and confronted him, he attacked — with one cop alleging the football player told him “f*** you” and then “charged at me … at full speed with closed fist.”

Given all that the liberal establishment has done to demonize police, physical attacks on them should come as no surprise.

The officer claimed McDowell struck him so hard and so many times, he suffered injuries in the altercation — including a badly swollen eye.

McDowell should have chosen New York City for this behavior, so as to avoid jail time.

He has had multiple confrontations with the law in the past. In the NFL, this is far from unusual.

It is unreasonable to expect audiences to care whether people like Malik McDowell win games that they are paid $millions per year to play. But people seem to anyway, for reasons that defy comprehension.

When leftists exploited the fentanyl overdose of career criminal George Floyd to attack local police as an institution, the predictable result was the current tsunami of violent crime. This crime tends to occur not in the comfy suburbs of our ruling class, but in inner city neighborhoods inhabited by the people progressives exploit while pretending to champion. Arianna Delane may serve as their exemplar:

A 4-year-old girl who was shot on New Year’s Day as she slept in her bed in Texas has been identified as George Floyd’s niece.

Several shots were fired into the Houston, Texas, apartment early Saturday morning, injuring the little girl inside, NBC News reported. Her father, Derrick Delane, identified her as Arianna Delane, and told KPRC that she suffered a punctured liver, lung, and several broken ribs but is healing and is expected to survive.

Derrick Delane denounced the police for taking too long to respond to the call. Maybe he should have called Black Lives Matter or the New York Times instead.

But of course, BLM rioters and moonbat propagandists aren’t much help when it comes to horrors like this. Neither is Biden’s personal Gestapo. The task of securing public safety falls to local police. Defund, demoralize, and hamstring police, and more children like Arianna Delane get shot.

It is obscene for liberals to posture as if they hold the moral high ground when they side with criminals against local police.

The Chicago Police Department is conducting an internal investigation into a sergeant who voiced her support for the formation of a Turning Point USA chapter at an area high school.

TPUSA is not exactly an alt right fever swamp. It represents a moderate conservative viewpoint that appeals to students.

Chicago Police Department Sergeant Ammie Kessem, who’s also the 41st Ward Republican Committeeman in Chicago, voiced her support for the potential creation of a TPUSA chapter at William Howard Taft High School in Chicago on Dec. 9, stating on Facebook that several “brave students” are creating the high school chapter of the conservative group.

The leftists in charge have proven just how brave these students are by targeting Officer Kessem.

Kessem went on to say that conservatives in Chicago are often called “Nazis,” “White Supremists” and “outright ‘racists.’”

Worse yet, they are intimidated with investigations and their careers are often ruined. How else is the liberal establishment to maintain its iron grip on a city where the ideology it wants to impose has so conspicuously failed?

“I am certain these students realize that this will almost certainly be scrutinized by the administration at this school which seems to embrace the Marxist views of a substantial amount of the Chicago Teacher’s union members,” she continued.

These Marxist views — or at least the authoritarian tactics associated with them — are also embraced by the Chicago PD under ultraleft Mayor Lori Lightfoot. The department did not inform Kessem of its investigation into her Facebook post, which she made in her capacity as a private American citizen who presumably enjoys First Amendment rights.

Meanwhile, at the school:

“We were disturbed to learn that an organization promoting racial intolerance has been associated with our school,” [Assistant Principal Melissa] Hess tweeted. “We are a community built on respect and inclusion, and one that rejects any organization that would seek to discriminate on the basis of race, religion, gender, disability, sexual orientation, or anything else. … Please know that the staff and administration at Taft will never tolerate the formation of any group that does not support these values.”

Although TPUSA was not named directly — and is not racist, Islamophobic, sexist, et cetera, ad nauseam — it appears to be the target of this ominous rhetoric. Tolerant liberals never tolerate those they have denounced as intolerant.

In the context of New York City politics, Eric Adams was elected mayor as the lonely voice of relative sanity among those with any chance of winning. But don’t get your hopes up that the city will pull out of the tailspin Bill de Blasio set it into. The swearing in of Police Commissioner Keechant Sewell does not offer hope. It took place in front of a mural depicting radical racists of the type who have inspired Black Lives Matter rioters, including Malcolm “By Any Means Necessary” X, cop-killer Assata Shakur, and communist revolutionary Angela Davis.

She was a member of the Black Liberation Army, which the FBI describes as one of “the most violent militant organizations of the 1970s.”

Angela Davis was affiliated with the Communist Party USA, the Black Panther Party, and the Feminist Studies Department at UC Santa Cruz.

Davis was charged with murder, kidnapping, and criminal conspiracy charges after authorities linked her to the purchase of weapons that were later used by three inmates who took a judge and juror hostage during their trial in 1970 for killing a prison guard.

The judge was killed. Davis got off compliments of a politicized trial.

Malcolm X rejected the racial conciliation and color-blind society advocated by Martin Luther King, using the militant Nation of Islam as a platform to sow racial strife.

Also featured in the mural is Nat Turner, who led a slave rebellion in 1831, to put homicidal communist maniacs into the phony context of slavery. Fifty whites and 120 slaves died in the rebellion.

The mural also features Huey Newton, the drug dealer, rapist, and murderer who founded the violent Black Panther Party.

If these are to be the guiding lights of New York’s new police commissioner, she will be on the same page as Manhattan’s new district attorney, the pro-criminal radical Alvin Bragg.

Adams confirmed that Sewell was appointed on the basis of identity politics by quacking about glass ceilings.

If you live in New York, get out now. Detroit, once the wealthiest city in the country, never came back from Coleman Young. Likewise, NYC will never recover from the comparably catastrophic de Blasio.

At 2 a.m. yesterday, Phoenix police were looking for someone who had been driving erratically…

Officer Tyler Moldovan, 22, found the suspect, identified as 24-year-old Essa Kolareh Eugene Williams, hiding behind a wall of an apartment patio.

According to court documents,

“[Moldovan] asked the subject if he had any weapons and he said no. The male subject produced a handgun from his waist area, raised it at the police officer, and fired multiple times.”

Officer Moldovan fell to the ground and the suspect continued to fire gunshots at him “while he was lying on the ground unresponsive.”

Then Williams tried to steal Moldovan’s holstered gun.

Williams was taken into custody despite resisting arrest. Good thing no one kneeled on him, or more neighborhoods might get torched in mostly peaceful protests.

Officer Moldovan was rushed to St. Joseph’s Hospital in critical condition and is on life support. Court documents said Moldovan was shot up to eight times, including once in the head.

He deserves it for being systemically racist, right media? Right Democratic Party?

As always in these cases, the suspect should already have been incarcerated.

Court documents reveal, within just a few days in September 2014, Williams, who was 17 at the time, stole two cars, one of them during an armed robbery. He was also charged with aggravated assault in that time span. …

Just months later in January 2015, court documents say Williams used a gun he stole from a friend to shoot at the same person and other associates when they came to his home. Police say Williams ran outside and shot several rounds at his own house and one of the bullets went through a neighbor’s window.

Despite being convicted of armed robbery, aggravated assault, and endangerment in 2017, Williams was released on an absolute discharge in April 2020.

Moldovan just turned 22 and was recently married. Barring a miracle, his life has been sacrificed to liberal ideology. According to the narrative superimposed on reality by our ruling class, he is the villain, Williams the hero.

Every individual Black Lives Matter activist, liberal media propagandist, and Democrat politician has participated in the appalling crime of stoking up psychopaths like Darrell Brooks and Essa Kolareh Eugene Williams and then setting them loose to wreak havoc. They must be held responsible for what they have done and continue to do.

On Friday, three San Francisco police officers frequented the Hilda and Jesse restaurant – that offers “Breakfast without boundaries.” The police officers were seated, but shortly after, the “staff felt uncomfortable with the presence of their multiple weapons.”

The police officers were then “politely asked them to leave,” according to the restaurant.

The owners of Hilda and Jesse reportedly issued a response that said, “Our restaurant is a safe space – particularly for queer and BIPOC individuals.”

How safe do these moonbats figure their restaurant will be for politically sacred identity groups or anyone else without police protection?

“Community engagement is a core principle of SFPD’s 21st century police reforms, and we are intentional about asking our officers to support local businesses and get to know those they’re sworn to safeguard,” [San Francisco Police Chief Bill] Scott wrote on Twitter.

It isn’t easy to engage with a community that hates your guts — or to feel motivated to put your life on the line for it. If the police were less professional, owners Kristina Liedags Compton and Rachel Sillcocks would be likely to find them too busy to respond when the rising tide of anarchy forces them to make a 911 call.

Since long before Black Lives Matter rioters became celebrated heroes of the liberal establishment, oversight boards comprised of leftists have been used to hamstring and persecute local police. To get an idea of the vicious vindictiveness of these boards, consider the case of Ella French:

Chicago’s Civilian Office of Police Accountability (COPA) has issued a report on a 2019 raid on the wrong home and recommended punishment for some officers involved. During the raid, a woman who lived at the home was reportedly forced to stand naked in the room as officers searched.

The homeowner in the botched raid is racially correct, so heads must roll.

COPA’s report recommends suspending slain officer Ella French for three days. French was murdered in August during a traffic stop.

Civilization is endlessly at war with those who would drag us back down into jungle. The leftists who wield weapons like COPA have made it clear which side they are on.

According to the COPA report, here’s why French must be posthumously punished:

“Officer French failed to timely activate her body-worn camera and failed to document the detention and search of the male and his vehicle in an Investigatory ‘Stop Report.’”

Why should leftists have any respect for the dead? An ideology that worships contrived victimhood does not allow for the concept of respect.

COPA says it made its report back in April, before French had been killed by the scumbags she devoted her life to protecting us against. It would have been against procedures to revise the report in light of her death.

Fine, then don’t revise it. Tear it up and throw it in the garbage. But no, they would rather nail it to her coffin.

If only this lunacy were limited to Lori Lightweight’s Chicago. Unfortunately, the weaponization of leftist ideology against local police is endemic throughout the country, and has been embraced by the Democratic Party. Cops are subjected to restorative justice indoctrination programs, during which they are expected to bob their heads obediently as they are told that their profession was created to hunt down escaped slaves and is inherently racist and evil.

How police officers maintain the morale needed to put their lives on the line for us is a mystery. They must be sustained by the hope that we will pass through this age of moonbattery and become Americans again.

No wonder Democrats are exploiting the vaccine to purge local police of those who might think for themselves rather than mindlessly follow tyrannical orders. There are actual thought criminals among the police, as demonstrated by an officer delighting patriots by putting “Let’s Go Brandon” through his loudspeaker:

Any cop who would say “Let’s Go Brandon” might refuse to take a vaccine he doesn’t need or to submit private health information that is none of the government’s business. From there it is a short step to “No, I will not arrest this person for exercising his constitutional rights” or “No, I will not open fire on this crowd.”

The same applies to the military, which is why calling for accountability can get a Marine officer not just relieved of command but imprisoned.
