Aldean defended his new song and video after CMT pulled it from airwaves Tuesday as his new hit, ‘Try That in a Small Town’ caused a frenzy among liberals who described it as ‘pro-lynching.’

Suggesting that decent people would protect their property, their towns, and each other from roving mobs of violent scum is now “pro-lynching.” When the next wave of riots is unleashed on some preposterous pretext (e.g., a career criminal dying of a fentanyl overdose while resisting arrest), we are expected to sit back and take it.

Both the lyrics and the video, which interlaced clips of BLM protestors vandalizing cities with lines endorsing traditional values and ‘taking care of our own,’ have caused outrage online.

Like all things woke, the weaponized outrage is contrived. As Aldean points out:

“There is not a single lyric in the song that references race or points to it – and there isn’t a single video clip that isn’t real news footage – and while I can try and respect others to have their own interpretation of a song with music – this one goes too far.”

Finke received the “Children’s Health Hero” award from the Minnesota hospital system for [his] work on the bill, according to a release from Children’s Minnesota.

“The law protects access to gender affirming care for Minnesotans and for those traveling to Minnesota from other states,” Children’s Minnesota said in a statement.

That is, it facilitates child sex change tourism.

There used to be a term “Minnesota nice.” Liberals have replaced it with “Minnesota evil.”

Finke was also the author of a bill that would strip anti-pedophile language from the state’s existing anti-discrimination law. The law currently excludes sexual attraction to children from its list of legally protected sexual orientations, but Finke’s bill would remove language specifying that exclusion, which activists have argued could lead to pedophilia being interpreted as a protected sexual orientation.

That is, pedophiles would be officially recognized as belonging to a higher caste, like homosexuals. A Republican amendment put the kibosh on this for now.

On May 9, the Connecticut House of Representatives passed a bill that would effectively expand the definition of discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation to include “discrimination” against so-called “minor-attracted persons.”

“Minor-attracted persons” (or MAPs) is the euphemism liberals want us to use to help them normalize sex criminals who prey on children.

H.B. 6638, also known as “An Act Revising the State’s Antidiscrimination Statutes,” passed by a landslide margin of 132-17, with two members absent from the vote.

Even most Republicans voted for this obscene bill, if you can call any politician in Connecticut a Republican.

The state’s House Democratic caucus described the bill as seeking to “modernize and improve consistency in” the state’s “discrimination statutes.” The Connecticut American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), which supports the bill, used similar language, stating that “it modernizes the existing definition of sexual orientation, moving away from thirty-year-old outdated and offensive terminology.”

We don’t want to use terminology that would offend pedophiles. That could get us canceled.

Family Institute of Connecticut analyzes the bill:

The new definition (as amended) of “sexual orientation” changes in 2 big ways. It becomes untethered from “heterosexuality, homosexuality or bisexuality” and instead ties to “identity”. Second, it now includes identities whose underlying behavior would be a sex crime. …

Even people with sexual attractions like pedophilia and nepiophilia would be protected from discrimination.

The logic applied to make homosexuals a protected group can be applied to any perversion and any crime. The liberal trick is to conflate behavior they like with innate identity, and disapproval of that behavior with “intolerance.” According to woke doctrine, gays are not gay because they have gay sex; they have gay sex because they are gay. They were born that way, and have no influence over their own behavior. Therefore, if you do not approve of gay sex, you hate innocent victims of fate. Those who are victimized by hate must be granted special protection from the government to ensure they are first hired, last fired, immune from criticism, et cetera.

Leigh Finke, 41, is an elected Representative to Minnesota House District 66A and is cited as a chief author of HF 1655, a bill which seeks to establish gender identity as a protected category and aims to remove rights act sections of existing legislation “that allow for discrimination based on sexual orientation.”

Under “equity,” all of us are equal, but those who are “protected” are a lot more equal than you. They are first hired and last fired. Criticism of them is not permitted. Their interests are prioritized.

Applying sexual perversion to children is both an objective and a vehicle:

Finke was elected as a state representative last year after campaigning on a platform which largely consisted of guaranteeing medical interventions for gender non-conforming minors, including drugs which halt puberty, while referring to this demographic as “trans youth.”

The alarming focus on children that characterizes the LGBT movement is especially pronounced in Finke:

Finke held several rallies for “trans kids” in the months leading up to the voting date, and the first bill that he authored as an elected official, the Trans Refuge Bill, or HF 146, allows minors from outside the state to receive puberty blockers and hormones within Minnesota. The bill was passed on April 24 and allows the state courts to have “temporary emergency jurisdiction” over children who enter Minnesota “to obtain gender-affirming health care.”

Parents have no say in their children’s bodies being irreversibly deformed, once they are in the clutches of the leftists running Minnesota. After all, kids are not their parents’ kids; they are the government’s kids.

Finke’s message to children who fall prey to grooming is explicit:

“Don’t listen to your parents!”

He advises that children should “limit contact with any adult” who fails to affirm their “queerness” and recommends that they visit “queer sex shops.”

Finke stated it was necessary to “protect trans kids,” and asserted that in the near future, “there will be more riots.”

Johns Hopkins Moore Center for the Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse has hired a former Old Dominion University professor who was put on leave after claiming that sexual attraction to children is not always immoral, and that he [sic] wants to destigmatize pedophiles by referring to them as “minor-attracted persons” (MAPs), instead.

Despite the masculine pronoun above, I suspect this person is female. The beard looks like it was grown with the help of hormones as part of a transsexual freakification.

As noted earlier, Walker wants to do for pedophilia what progressive social engineers have already done for homosexuality. She characterizes pedophiles as victims. According to the value system liberals use in place of morality, this makes them the good guys.

Hiring her to prevent child abuse is the equivalent of recruiting an arsonist for the fire department.
